ALL MY CHILDREN

AUGUST 21, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Leo: I'm going to go to Ohio, see if Kenyon number two knows what number three's been up to.

Kendall: We're working together to bring down Erica, right?
Greenlee: You think I would actually align myself with you? Please.

Bianca: I'm applying for a job here at Enchantment.

Marian: Adam and Stuart went on their annual fishing trip.
Liza: Mother, Adam kidnapped Colby.

TODAY’S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Bianca: Whoa, Val, you're putting me in Mom's office?
Val: Yours is being painted. Someone will be in later to show you the color swatches.
Bianca: Oh, can't you just put me in a cubicle with a laptop and a phone?
Val: As if.
Bianca: Well, I -- I’m just a rookie, and I --
Val: No, no, no, no, no. You sitting at the right hand of Erica, Babe. That means perks. Personally, I’d go for my own latte machine. The coffee downstairs gets pretty ugly about 4:00.
Bianca: Yes, but, Val, I don't think that I should --
[Intercom buzzes]
Val: Oh, that's me. Val speaking. Ok, do not panic. I'm on my way to my desk.
Bianca: Val, can I help?
Val: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Let me field this one for you. You just unwind.
Bianca: Well, look, I would be much more comfortable --
Val: Bianca, what is the big deal? This is all going to be yours someday.

[Bianca sighs]
Bianca: What am I doing?

[Greenlee enters her office to find Kendall sitting behind her desk]
[Greenlee gasps]
Greenlee: I haven't seen airborne piggies flying this morning, so this can't be happening, right?

Winifred: Oh, welcome back, Mrs. Chandler. You know what? Your mail's right in there on the desk --
Liza: Thank you.
Winifred: And there's no word from Mr. Chandler about Colby.
Liza: Oh. Right. Is everything here under control?
Winifred: Yes. Ms. Mia's been handling everything.

Mia: No, no, I ordered two dozen heritage roses to be planted on the border of the south lawn. Yes, I want them here today. Thank you.

Mia: Liza. You're -- you're home.
Liza: Yes.
Mia: How did --
Liza: So I hear you've been managing things here very well.
Mia: Yeah, well, I’ve been trying, you know? I didn't want you to have to worry about anything when you were in New York, and I figured it would be stressful enough that you had to find a new lawyer.
Liza: So, how long did you know that Adam was planning on kidnapping my child?

Vanessa: The lights are liable to be out all over the city. Will you be all right?
[Trey remembers]
Trey: I got over my fear of the dark before I even got a bicycle with training wheels.
Vanessa: Oh.

Trey: Not that you'd care, Mother.

Maggie: Trey, Vanessa’s not your mother. So, why does she get to you the way she does?

Leo: 223 Marble Street, Dearborn, Ohio. Well, this is it.
[Leo knocks on the door]
Man: Yes?
Leo: Uh -- yeah, I’m looking for James Kenyon II.
Man: What do you want?
Leo: I -- Mr. Kenyon, I work with your son Trey, and I was just wondering if -- oh!
[Mr. Kenyon punches Leo in the face]
Leo: Hey! Is that how you always say hello to your son's friends?
Man: I don't know what kind of a joke you're trying to pull, but let me tell you something -- it's damn sick!
Leo: This isn't a joke! I -- I’m tight with Trey. That's all I’m saying.
Man: Who told you to do this?
Leo: No --
Man: What lousy excuse for a human being --
Leo: I didn't think that coming here to see you would be such a -- such a --
Man: No friend of my son's would do something so -- so --
Leo: So what? So what? Look, I don't understand what's going on here. I -- I know Trey. So -- so obviously, that insulted you somehow. I just don't understand what I did to --
James: You sadistic son of a bitch!
Leo: I came here to get some answers, and I’m not leaving until I get them.

Trey: It's just that Nessa gets to me, that's all.
Maggie: Yeah, obviously, but the question is, why?
Trey: Well, I can see the way she's fighting to hang on, how much she cares about her sons.
Maggie: Well, it's all kind of warped, but, I don't know, you're sort of attached to this whole mother-love thing, huh?
Trey: Well, like I said, my life started the day I became a Kenyon. I still feel lucky that I got a second chance, though I admit that sometimes I wonder what it would be like.
Maggie: What, with the whole white -- white picket fence and the whole perfect-family thing?
Trey: Well, mostly, just to have someone in your corner, no matter how badly you screw up.
Maggie: Well, not all mothers are like that.
Trey: Yeah, it's kind of a foster kid fantasy.
Maggie: So are you like this with all of your clients?
Trey: Well, if I was, I’d have to report myself to the bar association. You know, you look incredible today. You always do, but is there some kind of change in the candy striper dress code?
Maggie: Oh. Thank you for the compliment, but, no, I’m actually going to a wedding later on and I didn't have time to change, so --
Trey: You going alone?
Maggie: No. Actually. No, actually, I’m not.

[Intercom buzzes]
Bianca: Bianca Montgomery speaking. That sounds great. Do it. I'll authorize it. Yeah, no problem.

Bianca: Ah. Well, maybe this is doable. Hi. Can I help you?
Woman: I'm Cali. I'm Erica’s -- well, "assistant" doesn't really, really cover it. She's probably mentioned me.
Bianca: Cali?
Cali: Mm-hmm.
Bianca: Yeah, you're -- you're a VP, right?
Cali: For the time being.
Bianca: Well, Cali, I’m Bianca.
Cali: I know who you are. Everyone does. Anyway, I understand I’m supposed to see you?
Bianca: Oh, just for today. Mom's at a shareholder meeting in New York.
Cali: I know where she is. I know her schedule.
Bianca, I hate to wreck your Zen, but something has come up and we need to deal with it right now.
Bianca: Well, excellent. That's what I’m here for. In fact, you might want to pass that message along to the rest of the people here. I don't want anybody go easy on me just because I’m the boss' daughter.
Cali: Sure. Anyway, what's going down is a total mess and --
[Intercom buzzes]
Bianca: Oh, hold on for just a second. Val? Well -- well -- when did this happen? They want me to handle it? Val, isn't this something that my mother -- no, I haven't read the file! I don't even know where it is. Ok, I’ll -- I’ll look over it. Thank you.
Bianca: Is this the big mess that you were talking about?
Cali: Mm-hmm, that's it. It looks like the future of Erica’s company is in her daughter's capable hands.

Greenlee: I want security up here right now.
Kendall: Greenlee --
Greenlee: There's an intruder in my office, and it's your fault she got past the lobby.
Kendall: Greenlee!
Greenlee: Just send someone up here to throw her out right now! Oh, I mean, right -- better plan -- I’ll throw you out myself!
Kendall: No, you really, really do not want to do that.
Greenlee: Oh, yes, I do, more with every passing moment.
Kendall: Don't you want to know the reason I’m here?
Greenlee: You don't have reasons, Kendall. "You" and "reason" are words that don't happen in the same sentence.
Kendall: Did you hear about the celebrity tie-in they've set up at Enchantment for their natural beauty campaign?
Greenlee: How the hell do you know about that? It's top secret. No one even knows who they're going after. Oh -- you know who they're going after.
Kendall: They were going after her. Not anymore because I got her for us, here.
Greenlee: You stole Alannis from Enchantment?
Kendall: See, you're not totally out of the loop. You do know who it is. So, I understand when a newcomer pulls off a really big deal, cash prizes --
Greenlee: You stole Alannis from Erica Kane?
Kendall: That's right. I got her away from Erica and over here.

Mia: So you are accusing me of coming between you and Colby?
Liza: That and taking Adam’s side against me, yes.
Mia: Oh, well, I’m so sorry. I didn't know that you and Adam had gone into total war mode.
Liza: You know what? Adam did that the minute he took my child out of this house.
Mia: They've gone camping.
Liza: Mia, he took my little girl without my permission! My child has been kidnapped.
Mia: Not legally.
Liza: Really? What would you call it, then?
Mia: Look, I am not defending what he did.
Liza: You know, it really does sound like you are, Mia.
Mia: I am just trying to stop you from being so paranoid.
Liza: Paranoid? Ok, I’m crazy and I’m paranoid. Is there anything else you'd like to call me?
Mia: I didn't know what Adam was planning. You have to believe that.
Liza: Oh, do I have to?
Mia: You know how I feel about you guys.
Liza: Well, when did this recent wardrobe upgrade happen?
Mia: What are you talking about?
Liza: This getup, this very lady-of-the-house kind of thing.
Mia: Oh, come on. I bought myself a couple of new outfits. What are you trying to say?
Liza: That you know more than you're admitting.
Mia: The only thing that I know is that I want everything to work out for everyone, especially for Colby.

Marian: Liza. Oh, Darling, I just heard from Stuart.
Liza: Colby -- is she all right, Mother?
Marian: Darling, she's perfect. Stuart said they're having a bulous time.
Liza: Well, where is she? Where is she exactly?
Marian: They're in Boise, but they're about to take a canoe trip up or down some river. It all sounds very rustic and --
Liza: So, Mother, did you tell Stuart that she's there against my wishes?
Marian: Well, no, of course I didn't. I didn't want to upset him with something he wouldn't understand.
Liza: Mother, Stuart would understand what Adam is doing to Colby.
Marian: He hasn't done anything to her! She's having a wonderful time! She's even learned how to tie some kind of a fly thingy.
Liza: Mother, for God's sake.
Marian: Well, I know it sounds repulsive, Darling, but it's very difficult to do and she's become kind of an expert at it.
Liza: Mother, will you please stop this. We're talking about my baby.
Marian: And she's fine, Darling.
Liza: No, she's not fine. She is not fine as long as she's not with me.
Marian: But Stuart --

Winifred: Excuse me. I'm sorry. Ms. Marian, could you come to the kitchen? Lucretia's making that peach jam that you're so fond of and I --
Marian: Oh, thank you. That's lovely.
Liza: No, Mother, we're not through.
Marian: Liza, stop worrying. Stuart -- there's no way on earth he will let anything happen to your little girl.

Liza: Yet again, Adam creates something that from the outside looks completely innocent.
Mia: Liza --
Liza: I mean, a camping trip -- it's un-American to complain about something like that, but mark my words -- it's his first step in trying to take my daughter away from me.
Mia: Liza --
Liza: No, don't -- don't even try to talk me out of it. Do you understand my new lawyers discovered paperwork that Adam had filed that make me look like I’d given him permission to do this?
Mia: Liza, I’m with you.
Liza: What do you mean?
Mia: I think you're right. I think Adam’s gone too far. You tell me what I can do to help you.

Bianca: Look, I want you to get to Alannis' people and find out if this is really over. You're sure?
[Bianca sighs]
Bianca: Who got to her?

Greenlee: No one gets to Alannis.
Kendall: Excuse me?
Greenlee: Her people have a wall around her. Besides, she's completely against corporate tie-ins and sponsorship. That was what made the Enchantment deal so amazing.
Kendall: It was until we made her see that Enchantment would exploit her, whereas we are a total class act.
Greenlee: You talked to her? How?
Kendall: Her assistant has this manicurist who grew up right here in Pine Valley.

Bianca: No, I don't have a clue how it happened. Well, I can't answer that question, either.
Cali: You are the boss. You cannot say you don't know.
Bianca: I really don't know.
[Phone rings]
Bianca: Look, could you hold on for just a moment? Val, please tell me that this is all some big mistake.
Val: Uh-uh. Uh-uh.
Bianca: Well, it can't get any worse.
Val: Yes, it can.

Kendall: So I won't push for a promotion even though I certainly deserve one.
Greenlee: Whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute. You think this means you' hired?
Kendall: I don't think. I know.
Greenlee: Huh. Wrong.

Trey: You're still here.
Maggie: Oh, yeah. I just had a couple of things to take care of before I left. So how is my aunt doing anyway?
Trey: Well, she's still sleeping. She sleeps a lot these days.
Maggie: What does she say when she's not sleeping?
Trey: You're asking a lot of questions lately, Maggie. How come?
Maggie: Well, I just want to know what's going on with her. I mean, you know that, and I think you know why.
Trey: But you've never really been this curious before.
Maggie: Trey, she killed my sister and then she tried to kill me.
Trey: Is that the only reason?
Maggie: Excuse me? What more reason do I need? God. Mommy's sister tried to turn me into a Popsicle.
Trey: That's not what I’m talking about.
Maggie: I want to know what's going on with her, where she's going to go next, you know? I want to make sure that there are locked doors between us.
Trey: What about me, Maggie?
Maggie: You? This doesn't have --
Trey: Every time I’ve been trying to talk to you, you dust me off for the last few weeks.
Maggie: Yeah, I told you --
Trey: And even if I do accept that candy-striping's your duty and your life and that every time I’m at the hospital you just happen to be there, that still doesn't explain why you've been so nice to me. So I got to ask, did somebody put you up to this?

Leo: Look, I did lie, all right? I don't work with your son. I just needed some way to get you to talk to me about it.
James: And you thought this would do it? Of all the sadistic --
Leo: Ok, look, look, I’ll admit I just needed some information about him, and, yeah, I was willing to lie a little bit about it, but I’m not lying about Trey. I do know the guy.
James: Stop saying his name!
Leo: What? Why does that freak you out so much?
James: My son is dead, young man. Trey is dead.
Leo: I -- I didn't know.
James: My son died years ago. He died ahead of me. That's not supposed to happen to a father.
Leo: God, I am so sorry. I didn't --
James: And you ask me why I reacted the way I did?
Leo: I didn't know.
James: He took everything when he died. His mother couldn't stand it -- she left. Then his brother and sister -- they blamed themselves and I couldn't help them. I couldn't take care of them. We were a happy family. We had a wonderful life. And when he died, it ended for all of us.
Leo: Mr. Kenyon, Sir, can I come in for a second? I -- I can explain to you why I’m here. I think there are some things that you need to know. Thank you.
Leo: I know that you're a lawyer and your son was, too. Isn't that right?
James: Yes.
Leo: I'm Leo du Pres. I come from this -- this family, it's complicated, and there are some things, some -- some legal things that --
James: What does any of this have to do with me?
Leo: Well, I think that you may have represented somebody in my family. You're still practicing, right?
James: Mr. du Pres, if you came here to ask me about some legal work I might have done for one of your relatives, why the hell did you lie about my boy being your co-worker? Why even drag him into it?
Leo: Did you ever represent a woman named Vanessa Cortlandt, by chance?
James: Hmm, I don't know anyone by that name.
[Leo notices a framed picture on the table]
Leo: Is this you, with your son?
James: That's Trey, just before he drowned.

Maggie: You've been wanting us to talk, and now I’m here talking to you, and I’m not blowing you off, and you seem to think that I have some conspiracy going on.
Trey: I guess when you put it that way, it does sound like --
Maggie: Like somebody who doesn't -- who doesn't know when he's ahead?
Trey: Guess I’m just naturally suspicious.
Maggie: Hmm. Is that something you picked up from the Kenyans?
Trey: I think it more genetic.
[Phone rings]
Maggie: Oh. Excuse me.
Trey: Are you really going to use one of those in a hospital?
[Ring]
Trey: Did they teach you anything in candy striper school?
Maggie: Oh, right. You do have a point.
[Ring]
Maggie: But -- I’m one of those people. I can't not pick up my phone.

Maggie: Hello.
Bianca: Maggie --

Cali: It's a total disaster!
Val: Well, we are ruined.

Maggie: Bianca, is everything all right?
Bianca: Maggie, help. It's all coming apart.
Maggie: All right. I'll be right there. I'll be right there.

Maggie: I'm sorry. I have to go. I hope we're clear on the whole conspiracy thing. I hope we could do this again, yeah?
Trey: Yeah.
Maggie: Good. Bye.
Trey: Yeah. I hope we can.

Kendall: You think I scored this unbelievable win and handed it to you because I like you?
Greenlee: Why you did it is not my problem.
Kendall: No, this is not a freebie, damn it.
Greenlee: Again, it's not my problem.
Kendall: I want what's coming to me.
Greenlee: Which is not ever in this lifetime going to be a job with me. If you ever listened to anyone but yourself, you'd have heard me say that.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, like I’d listen to you.
Greenlee: Whatever. Thanks for bagging Alannis for us. Nice save. You know the way out, right?
Kendall: If you think you're getting rid of me, you are highly mistaken, I’m sorry.

Woman: Ok, where's the miracle worker?
Greenlee: Casey, whatever she did, I didn't -- what are you doing?
Casey: I don't know how you did it. I don't want to know. We are forever in your debt. I worship at your altar.
Greenlee: I -- I didn't --
Casey: I mean, what can I do for you? Name it. What can I say? Alannis, snatched from the clutches of La Kane.
Greenlee: Who told you --
Casey: Who is this?
Greenlee: No one.
Kendall: Kendall Hart, Greenlee's new assistant.
Casey: Well, then, you must be incredible if this woman chose you. Greenlee's instincts are impeccable.
Greenlee: I -- actually, I didn't --
Casey: Greenlee, please. Look, if you want an assistant, you don't even have to ask. Hire anyone you want! Welcome aboard.
Kendall: Oh, well, thank you. I'm sure I’ll be very happy here.
Casey: Good. Well, I have to go start setting up the campaign for Alannis!
Brava, Greenlee! A thousand times, brava!
[Casey claps]
Greenlee: Thanks.

Kendall: So, how does it feel to be a genius?

Mia: If Adam is forging documents saying that you agreed to a trip and you didn't, he's crossed the line.
Liza: I thought you agreed with him.
Mia: No, look, I just wanted you guys to work things out and I was trying to make you see things from his side, but not anymore.
Liza: So you really think that he's gone too far?
Mia: Adam knows how you are with Colby. Even if he's not planning anything, what he's doing right now is just very cruel.
Liza: You don't know the half of it.
Mia: Then tell me, Liza. Tell me. I'll do whatever I can to help you get your little girl back in this house. I'm your sister. You can trust me.
Liza: Mia, you don't know how much I’ve hated this, not being able to trust you.
Mia: I didn't know what I’d done.
Liza: You didn't do anything. It's -- it's Adam. He's done so many terrible things to me over the years.
Mia: It's all right.
Liza: No, no, it's not, you know? I feel like I am crazy and paranoid, all the things that you said.
Mia: So you and I, we're ok?
Liza: Yeah, you know, we're fine. It's just that I really need you to understand.
Mia: No, no, no, no. No, you don't have to explain. Your daughter is gone. I mean, how are you supposed to react?
Liza: No, it's not just Colby. I mean, that's -- that's the worst of it, but it's that he's been trying to just make me crazy. He's used my illness against me, making me doubt myself, making me feel like I had a relapse.
Mia: If he's done that, that's unforgivable.
Liza: Mia, that's exactly what he's done. Do you remember that day that he was looking for that fountain pen that he said that J.R. gave him? Well, J.R. has never given him a fountain pen. He lied about it like he lied about the flickering lights and the shredded shirt.
Mia: The one that was all ripped up.
Liza: He's the one who destroyed it, Mia. He did it, and do you remember how scared I was that I could have done something like that? I didn't even want to be around my own daughter!
Mia: I know. I was afraid for you.
Liza: This is his plan, and you are his witness. He wants the whole world to think that m sick, and then he's just going to use anything that he can against me to get my daughter from me.
Mia: Even me? Oh, God. Liza --
Liza: Mia, he's already taken the next step. He has my daughter out of the house, and he's going to use his money and his clout and whatever else he has to get her away from me and to make it look like I’ve given him permission.
Mia: Listen, I told you I will do whatever I can to help you.
Liza: There's nothing that can be done. It's -- it's done. He's got me.
Mia: No. No, it can't be that bad.
Liza: Mia, it couldn't be worse. If I fight Adam at this point the way that he's set me up, I look completely insane and I’ll never get my daughter back, ever.

Kendall: Ok, you don't like me.
Greenlee: Be accurate -- I loathe you.
Kendall: Well, my methods don't exactly make me a lot of friends.
Greenlee: They get you arrested.
Kendall: Yes, but they work.
Greenlee: Oh, which is why you're Mrs. Ryan Lavery as we speak?
Kendall: Go ahead and be hateful. You and I still need each other.
Greenlee: Ha! The day I need you --
Kendall: Oh, will you stop being such a spoiled brat? We're both after the same thing.
Greenlee: If I thought that, I’d slit my wrists.
Kendall: Look, you want payback, so do I, and if that means that we have to team up together, then we hold our noses and do it, right?
Greenlee: This may be the worst morning of my life.
Kendall: Right, Greenlee?
[Greenlee sighs]
Greenlee: I think a fleet of pigs was just spotted buzzing around the building.
Kendall: Hmm, you won't regret this.
Greenlee: You will. Welcome to a new concept, girlfriend -- you're going to work for a living.
Kendall: Well, given my track record with Alannis, I’d say I’m made for this business.
Greenlee: You had one win. For every one of those, prepare to get kicked in the teeth a dozen times.
Kendall: Why, Greenlee, are you trying to protect me? How sweet.
Greenlee: No, what I’m telling you is that I’m your boss and I’m tough.
Kendall: Oh, hello, have you met my mother?
Greenlee: I'm tougher than Erica on her worst high-frizz day, so don't get too cozy. This isn't going to be easy, and it's definitely not going to last.
Kendall: Well, I will do whatever I can to make you happy, boss.
Greenlee: Uh.
Kendall: Problem?

Bianca: Yeah. Yes, yes. Thank you. Thank you. Ok.

Bianca: Well, we did get raided. That much is true.
Val: But we have the promotion all set.
Bianca: Well, I think that'll be ok. I managed to head off the press.
Cali: We have a fortune invested in this campaign. If we scrap it, we'll --
Bianca: We won't have to scrap it. I am talking to Brandy's representatives in a couple of hours. I think that we can plug her right into the campaign.
Val: Brandy?
Bianca: Yes. I know that she's a new mother. I think that that will work in our favor, and she's definitely the right demo. Val, are you all right?
Val: Oh, yeah, yeah. It's just -- well, I’ve never been in on the emergence of a goddess before.
Bianca: What, you talking about me?
Val: You are so your mother's daughter. She'll be incredibly proud.
Bianca: You think so?
Val: Well, yeah, you headed off all those vultures from the tabs.
Bianca: Well, I just, you know, reminded them that journalists can be sued for libel.
Val: And you thought of Brandy and you got to her.
Bianca: I threw the Enchantment name around.
Val: Yeah, well, the great ones are always humble. We know what you did today. Don't we, Cali?
Cali: Nice job, Bianca.
Bianca: Thank you.
Val: Well, you obviously don't need us running interference for you. We're out of here.
Bianca: Thanks, again.
Maggie: Like you need my help.

James: Trey was third in his class in law school. He passed the bar exam on his first try.
Leo: Sounds like he was really good.
James: He was being recruited by a big law firm here. He was about to join it and was studying some cases for them. Well, he'd been at it for days. I told him to take a break. It was the end of the summer. I thought he was working too hard. If I had just kept my mouth shut.
Leo: Mr. Kenyon, don't do that.
James: He went sailing with a friend of his. It was a beautiful day -- not a cloud in the sky. The storm was a freak. It came out of nowhere. The boat capsized -- that's what they told me.
Leo: I need you to look at something for me. Do you recognize this guy?
[Leo shows James a newspaper clipping with ‘Trey’s’ picture]
James: Where the hell did you get that?

[Trey enters Vanessa’s room]
Trey: I bet you never thought you'd see me again, huh?

Liza: I've just been holding on to it for so long.
Mia: I am so glad that you told me how you're feeling. Now, listen, why don't you just go upstairs and just get some rest and then I’ll make you some nice hot tea for when you wake up.
Liza: All right.
Mia, I need you with me.
Mia: I'm not going anywhere, I promise.
[Door closes]

[Mia starts writing a letter]
Mia's voice: "Dear Adam, you were right. Liza did exactly what you said she would."

Kendall: So, remember, I want a corporate car and an expense account.
Greenlee: Would you believe a skateboard and a free lunch at Christmas? If you make it that long.
Kendall: This is so going to work. This is so going to work. With you and I together, we can get to Erica in a way that we never could.
Greenlee: If you want to work for me, go shopping. At least wear something a little less trashy. We have a corporate image to uphold here.
Kendall: Greenlee, I will become your fashion clone.
Greenlee: If you ever show up wearing something that I’ve worn --
Kendall: Why would I do that?
Greenlee: Hello -- the wedding fair, the battle of the brides? If you ever do something like that again, you're fired. Are we clear?
Kendall: Greenlee, this isn't going to be bad. I know we hate each other, but you and I can hate my mother together and kick butt.
Greenlee: Hmm. You know what I’m hating right now? How much you remind me of someone.
Kendall: I'm not like Erica.
Greenlee: I meant me. But don't think that means I’m loving this. Just the opposite.
Kendall: Right there with you, Honey.
Greenlee: Oh, boy. This should be interesting.

Bianca: So Alannis is hijacked and the whole thing is a huge disaster and I’m wondering what made me think that I could do this? And then, I don't know, I just -- I kind of went all Zen. I started making phone calls and throwing my mother's name around, and it just all worked out.
Maggie: No, you made it work out.
Bianca: Beginner's luck.
Maggie: Well, you did great, and I am not going to let you forget it, so, here.
Bianca: You got me something?
Maggie: Well, I was going to give it to you later, but since you just pulled that all off, I think you deserve it now.
Bianca: Hmm. Oh. I love presents.
Bianca: Oh, Maggie!
Maggie: It's for your business cards. And I’m sure everybody will be asking for them now.
Bianca: Thank you!
Maggie: So, Brooke and Edmund’s wedding is almost about to start. Well, since I’m here, why don't we go together?
Bianca: I can’t do that.
Maggie: Why not?
Bianca: I don't think it's a good idea.

Vanessa: What -- what did you say?
Trey: I was -- I was just joking. I'm your lawyer. I would never leave you. I would never cut out on you.
Vanessa: Oh. Trey, thank you for being so good to me. You really have been so great. I mean, you've been just like a son -- much better than I deserve.
Trey: That's got to be a first -- you thanking me.
Vanessa: Oh, well, Vanessa’s the one that took you for granted, you know. I know how hard you fought for us.
Trey: I had a job to do.
Vanessa: And you did it brilliantly. Yes, you're very wise and talented and -- and so kind, I -- I trust you.
Trey: I hope so.
Vanessa: And, you know, I think you and I are going to have a much better relationship than you did with Vanessa. In fact, I think it's -- I think it's already started.
Trey: I have to go.

Trey: Damn it! Why now? Why now?

James: That's Shep!
Leo: Who?
James: Ben Sheppard, Trey's friend from law school. Scholarship kid. Came from a foster home, some kind of story like that.
Leo: Ok, are you sure -- take a look. Are you sure that this is the guy?
James: Oh, I’m positive. I only met him a few times that I remember. He was always asking questions.
Leo: Oh, my God. Oh --
James: Why is Shep's picture in the newspaper?
Leo: He was defending a case and he's saying that he's your son.
James: What?
Leo: Yeah, Shep is saying that he is James Kenyon III. He's passing himself off as Trey.
James: I never trusted that kid -- always smiling and laughing every time I opened my mouth.
Leo: I never trusted him, either. That's why I came to ask you this stuff.
James: How could he do this? How could he? I want you to go.
Leo: Ok, yeah, but, I need a few --
James: No, I don't want to do this anymore. I can't.
Leo: But I -- I just want to ask you --
James: No, I don't know who you are or why you're here. I want you out of my house.
Leo: Ok. Ok. I'm leaving. I'm sorry for your loss.

Leo: So, Shep, what are you trying to pull with my mother?

ON THE NEXT - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Tim: So you ready for our date?

Anna: I'm closing in on this woman called Maureen Gorman.

Tad: I figured I’d probably find you here.

Maddie: Here it is!

Brooke: Ooh!
Hayley: You all ready to walk down the aisle?
Maddie: You help me with it, Mommy.
