ALL MY CHILDREN

JUNE 17, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Marius: It would be best if you would go without further delay.
Leo: And if I don't?
Marius: I will find a way to convince you.

Brooke: Did you find a donor for Enzo?
Edmund: A match, yes. I'm going fly out and try find her right now.
Brooke: Well, I can fly out and find the donor.

Man: Name, please?
Maureen: Maureen. Maureen S. Gorman.

Erica: What if she didn't set the fire?

TODAY'S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[HOSPITAL IN THE SOUTHWEST]
Tad: Excuse us.
Brooke: Hi. We're looking for a woman who works here, a Maureen Gorman.
Tad: It's rather important we talk to her.
Nurse: And who are you?
Tad: Well, it's kind of tricky. She's not going to recognize our names.
Brooke: Look, can you just get her? Tell her, please, there's a little boy that she's never met, but she might save his life.

[PV HOSPITAL]
Hayley: We -- we really can take Enzo home?
Mateo: Yeah, but he's still so sick. I mean --
Joe: Well, he's stable. There's no need to keep him here. Right now it's a matter of waiting.
Hayley: Until we find a donor.
Joe: Mm-hmm. And I think you and Enzo would be much happier at home.
Hayley: Yeah. So we can go home and bring him home now?
[Adam storms up to Hayley]
Adam: You brought Arlene back here to Pine Valley?
Hayley: Oh, not now.
Adam: You let that viper come near my grandson, and you kept me away from him?
Hayley: We were trying to find a suitable donor.
Adam: That one-woman demolition squad is more important than I am?
Mateo: Adam, why don't you back off.
Adam: Well, since when is she the one that --
Hayley: Since when? Since when? Since Mom, as hard as it is for you to believe, has been a hell of a lot more understanding through this whole mess than you've been!

[VALLEY INN - CHRIS AND ERICA'S ROOM]
[Thunder] [Erica remembers]
Chris' voice: Erica, come back here!
Erica's voice: Oh! Bianca's in there!
Kendall: Erica, Erica, Chris said to stay back. Chris said to stay back. Erica: Oh! No!
[Thunder]
Chris: Erica. What's wrong? What is it? It's ok. It's ok, Sweetheart, I'm here. I'm here, it's ok.

[PV CEMETARY]
Ryan: Well, did you hear me? I said marry me! Marry me! I'm going to keep you out here in the rain all night until you say yes, so say yes!
Kendall: Yes! Yes.
Ryan: Say it again!
Kendall: Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, yes, baby.
[The rain stops]
Ryan: Oh, you see what you did? You see what you did? You see what you did?

[PARIS - GREENLEE AND LEO'S HOTEL ROOM]
Count du Pres: Leo, will you take the DNA test?
Leo: Yeah. It's time. I have to find out if you're my father.
Count du Pres: So do I. I will arrange it for tomorrow.
Leo: Yeah.
Count du Pres: And in the meantime, I have a little surprise for you both.
[Knock on door]
Leo: Are you expecting somebody?
Count du Pres: I am, if you don't mind.
Greenlee: Come, come.
[Leo opens the door and is startled to see Wolfe standing there]
Leo: Ok, what kind of a setup is this?
Count du Pres: No, Leo, I promise you, it is not a setup.
Leo: Listen to me, man -- if you want us out of here, just say so.
Count du Pres: I assure you, Wolfe is here to assist me, not to hurt you.
Leo: Yeah, well, he did a hell of a job of it last time.
Greenlee: Yeah, we'd rather not have the missing link around without his leash and a muzzle.
Count du Pres: Apologize to the American lady and gentleman.
Marius: Mais, Monsieur --
Count du Pres: Tout de suite!
Marius: I am sorry for what happened.
Greenlee: You mean, for sucker-punching my fiancé without giving him a chance to defend himself?
Leo: Yeah.
Greenlee: Huh? For tossing me around like a Frisbee?
Leo: Yeah.
Count du Pres: You must not be too hard on Wolfe. It is his job to intimidate those who might try and take advantage of you. And me. I promise you, nothing like this will ever happen again.
Greenlee: Really? What do you say, Wolfie? What if I do this? Huh? Huh? [Greenlee pokes Wolfe in the stomach] Ha-ha. Just checking. You were saying?
Count du Pres: Besides being my secretary, my friend Wolfe, also, as you say, moonlights as my chauffeur.
Leo: Ah. A multi-tasker.
Count du Pres: I was proposing with your permission that maybe we could take a little drive around the city, and I will show you a palace that is not normally seen by the tourists.
Greenlee: Leo, Paris with a real Parisian.
Leo: Yeah, with his secretary/driver.
Count du Pres: We will stop at my chateau. I would like you very much to see it, Leo.
Greenlee: When will we ever have a chance like that again?
Leo: Yeah.
Count du Pres: Perhaps often. Who knows? All would be decided for us in the next few days, n'est-ce pas?
Leo: Yeah, I guess we could -- we could do that.
Count du Pres: I would like for you, Leo, very much, to get to know the man who may be your father. And I would like very much to get to know the young man who may possibly be my son. Is that agreeable with you?
Leo: Yeah, that'd be cool. I mean, yeah, that's very agreeable.

[PINE CONE MOTEL - RYAN'S ROOM]
Ryan: Oh! I need to dry you off.
Kendall: No, no, no, don't, don't --
Ryan: No, no, no --
Kendall: Don't leave me.
Ryan: I'll be right back, I'll be right back. Whoo!
Kendall: Whoo!
Ryan and Kendall: Ah!
Ryan: Come here. Come here. Co here, come here, come here. Look at you, look at you --
Kendall: Look at you.
Ryan: What's going on behind those eyes? Are you thinking again? You are, aren't you? Uh-oh.
Kendall: I -- I will never, never push you away again.
Ryan: Don't you go making promises that you can't keep, all right?
Kendall: I'm not.
Ryan: Good, because I'm in this for the long haul.
Kendall: I believe you love me. I do. I do!
Ryan: You know what? I really think that you do this time. I really think you do.
Kendall: And -- and I am not even going to call you crazy for asking me to marry you.
Ryan: Good, because I'm not.
Kendall: I know. It's just amazing what one little marriage proposal can do, huh?
Ryan: Very powerful stuff, marriage proposals.
Kendall: Yes. Oh, I want to feel like this for the rest of my life.
Ryan: Good, because we will. We will, we will, we will.
Kendall: No, I mean, I want to take this moment and have it in my hand so I could hang on to it and never let it go.
Ryan: Well, tell someone.
Kendall: I'm telling you.
Ryan: No, get on the phone right now and call everybody in Pine Valley and tell them.
Kendall: I don't have anyone to call.
Ryan: How about your mom?

[Erica continues to think about the fire]
Kendall's voice: No! I did not start that fire!

Chris: Here, drink this. My Nonna's cure for what ails you.
Erica: Oh. Brings back my mother.
Chris: So, are you going to tell me why you were yelling "no" in your sleep or who you were yelling "no" at?
Erica: Oh, it was just the thunder. It woke me up, and I've always been terrified of lightning. It just -- it's so end of the world.
Chris: Well, I'm here now and there's nothing, including lightning, that's going to touch you.
Chris: Why don't you tell me what else is bugging you, darling.
Erica: Well, there's nothing. You kidding? I've got my guy, got my milk. What else could I want?
Chris: It's Kendall, isn't it? That's what this is about.
Erica: Yes. It is. It is about Kendall.

Tad: We flew across the country to meet with her.
Nurse: Well, you're saying Maureen doesn't know you.
Brooke: This is a list from the living donor database.
Tad: The reason we're here is because Ms. Gorman is no longer at this address.
Brooke: But she signed up, so she must want to help.
Tad: We're here representing some of our friends.
Brooke: They have a little boy. He's a little under a year. His liver is failing. He needs a transplant.
Tad: And she is the perfect match.
Brooke: Can we at least just speak to her?
Nurse: Wait.
[The nurse goes and gets another woman]
Woman: I understand you're looking for a Maureen Gorman.
Tad: Yes. We really would like to speak with her --
Brooke: Is there a problem with that?
Woman: I'm afraid so. You're not the only ones looking for Maureen.

Adam: Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come down on you like that.
Hayley: We called Arlene because we needed her help. We called everybody because we needed their help -- on both sides of the family.
Adam: You don't have to explain to me --
Hayley: You're damn right I don't. We thought that she was a match for Enzo. We thought we had our donor.
Adam: Yeah, you thought. But she didn't.
Hayley: Well, she, for once in her life, was going to do the right thing. She was committed to helping us.
Adam: Yeah, then something went wrong. Right?
Hayley: She was very excited. There was a lot of promise after the first test.
Adam: Let me guess -- she had a date with a bottle.
Hayley: She stayed sober the entire time she was here.
Adam: Really? Well, then I guess the liver was too damaged after so many years as a human sponge?
Hayley: Do you see what you're doing right now? Do you see how you're handling this? This is exactly why I wanted to keep you out of the loop.
Adam: Why? Because I tell the truth?
Hayley: No, because you came in here with a machete looking for Arlene, and that's the last thing I needed. I wanted to keep her calm so she could stay focused on Enzo and helping Enzo and not stay focused on wanting to kill you.
Adam: I have a right to know what's going on with my family.
Hayley: Yeah, you do. But you came tearing in here, looking for blood. So what is going on with you, exactly?
Adam: I'm concerned about Enzo.
Hayley: You were so angry when you came in here, I could smell the smoke. And you were looking for someone to blame. So Liza's clearly involved.
Adam: Is it so hard to believe that I want to help? That I care about my only grandchild?
Hayley: I know that you care. And I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings, but I don't need you right now. I love you, but we are surrounded by people who care about us. And quite frankly, they're just better at it than you are.
Adam: There's got to be something I can do.
Hayley: No, there's nothing. We are handling things, and the doctors say we can bring Enzo home now.
Adam: You mean now? Right -- let me get the car. Winifred can --
Hayley: Dad, if -- if you want to help us, just go home and take care of Liza. Adam: Ok.
You shouldn't be wasting time talking to me. You go home and you take Liza -- take Enzo home --
Hayley: Yeah, I will.
Adam: And if there's anything I can do --
Hayley: I will let you know, Dad.
Adam: And next time, please don't -- don't shut me out, Hayley. Please.
Hayley: I promise I will keep you up to date.
Adam: Thank you.

Edmund: That was impressive. Mateo: How'd you talk him down?
Hayley: I just -- I just told him that they were letting us take Enzo home and that we were going to handle everything on our own.
Edmund: Brooke and Tad will find that donor.
Mateo: Yeah, well, it's up to them now.
Edmund: Look, Brooke brought Tad back when everybody thought that he was dead. She is going to find that woman and bring her to Pine Valley.

Woman: So we're looking for Maureen, too.
Tad: She just took off?
Woman: We don't know. Her phone's been disconnected, she's moved, and we don't have a forwarding address.
Brooke: It sounds like maybe she's running from somebody?
Tad: The police?
Woman: If you knew Maureen, you'd understand how funny that is.
Tad: Well, why would she just jump ship like that?
Woman: Maureen is the most honest person I've ever met. She wouldn't take a paper clip. Besides her clerical duties, she did volunteer work with the kids -- double shifts if they needed her. No way that woman's in trouble with the law.
Brooke: So what happened to her?
Woman: I don't know. A couple of days ago, she didn't come in to work. No one's seen her since.
Tad: Well, if she's such a saint, why would she leave without saying a word to anybody?
Woman: Look, we're all very upset about this. She wasn't here very long, but everyone liked Maureen. The kids keep asking when she's coming back.
[A young girl runs up]
Girl: Did you find Maureen? She never finished the story about the princess.

Kendall: You want me to call Erica? Are you trying to bring me down?
Ryan: I meant your mother in Florida. In Florida. Alice, right?
Kendall: Right, right. I guess I could do that.
Ryan: Yeah, but you won't. Why not? Why? I never understood that. What's the problem with them? I mean, they adopted you so they care about you a lot.
Kendall: Yeah, I know. They did, they did. But it was me. I was just wrong.
Ryan: They told you that?
Kendall: No, no. No, never. I just -- I was just -- I laughed too loud, I talked too fast, I cried too hard. Everything I did, it was just too much for them.
Ryan: But they still care about you.
Kendall: In their own way, yeah. Ryan, my mother's favorite color is beige. She wanted me to be a schoolteacher.
Ryan: Ok. Well, I guess you're not exactly on the same page.
Kendall: Well, try the same universe.
Ryan: Come on! I'm telling you, she would love to hear from you. She would love to hear from you. Call her.
Kendall: I just -- I wanted to wait until after this trial thing was over. I didn't want her to know I screwed up again.
Ryan: Well, then leave that part out. Just tell her the good stuff. Go ahead.
[Kendall dials the phone]
Kendall: Ahem. Hey, Mom. It's me. No, no. No, nothing's wrong. I'm fine. But I have something to tell you. I'm -- I'm getting married.

[Chris talks on the phone]
Chris: Thanks, Tommy. I owe you.
Chris: Well, my guy at the cop shop wasn't too happy about me calling so late, but we've got our info.
Erica: About Kendall's trial?
Chris: It's scheduled for July 5.
Erica: So soon.
Chris: Oh, Sweetheart, this is good. Now we've got a target date. We know that when the trial's finished, it's all over.
Erica: What if it isn't?
Chris: Kendall's going down for what she did, Erica.
Erica: Well, Kendall says she didn't do it. And what if the jury buys that?
Chris: Look, they got her fingerprints, her lighter, her statement --
Erica: I know. I know that. But I also know her. Chris: Darling, I know that right now it seems to you like there's nothing that can stop her.
Erica: Nothing ever has.
Chris: Look at me. I'm here. Nothing is going to happen to you. I won't let it happen. She's a criminal. They're going to put her behind bars where she belongs. And I'm going to make you a promise. When the jury delivers that verdict, Kendall hart is going to be out of our lives for good.

[THE PARISIAN COUNTRY SIDE -COUNT DU PRES' PARKED CAR]
Count du Pres: Merci, Wolfe. You can stop here. The view of the chateau is excellent.
Greenlee: Is that the chateau du Pres?
Count du Pres: It has been in my family since the time of Louis XVI. It is said that we kept it because the Marquise du Pres made herself amusing to Robespierre. Her bedroom is right up there, at the top of that tower on the left wing. I'm sure it has some interesting tales to tell.
Greenlee: Ooh, I want to see it. Can we get any closer?
Count du Pres: Oh, please, walk around as much as you wish. We will be heading up to the chateau soon.
Greenlee: Leo?
Leo: No, I'll be there in a minute.
Greenlee: Ok.
[Greenlee jumps out of the car for a better look]
Count du Pres: So, I assume you have something you wish to say to me?
Leo: Yeah, I -- I assume by now that you've heard about me and my mother?
Count du Pres: Oh, that Vanessa -- si charmant et raffinee -- she could be --
Leo: A con? I'm not about that anymore. That's not me.
Count du Pres: Leo, I know you are sincere.
Leo: You are? For real?
Count du Pres: I know that your mother tried to make you become like her, but you resisted.
Leo: I've -- I've done my fair share of dirty deeds, believe me.
Count du Pres: No, no, not since you've been in America. Not since this Pine Valley.
Leo: Wow. You really have done your research, haven't you?
Count du Pres: Yes, and I know that you do have integrity.
Leo: I wouldn't go that far.
Count du Pres: You like to laugh at yourself.
Leo: Well --
Count du Pres: It reminds me of myself at your age.
Leo: What about your legitimate children? Are they like you?
Count du Pres: My son would not thank you for asking. He finds a lot about me annoying. Especially my advice.
Leo: Well, you know, I guess it's probably just a father/son thing.
Count du Pres: May I perhaps, in the absence of a parent, offer you some?
Leo: Yeah. I won't know whether or not it's good. I've been a little challenged in the parenting department, if you know what I'm saying.
Count du Pres: Trust in your excellent judgment, Leo. The most important thing in life is to love well. It looks easy, but it is not.
Leo: Yeah, I'm starting to get that.
Count du Pres: And whatever you do, never let that fantastic young woman leave you. She is a treasure.
Leo: No, I get that, too. You know, I -- I like your advice.
Count du Pres: Merci.
Leo: You know, I don't think I could exactly get this from my mother. You know, I should have been hearing this a long time ago.
[Greenlee calls out]
Greenlee: Leo! Leo, you have to see this!
Leo: Well, we better go.
Count du Pres: Always, when a lovely young woman calls.

[Marius - AKA Wolfe - makes a call on his cell phone after Leo and Count du Pres get out of the car]
Marius: I have a message for Vanessa Cortlandt. Her son is getting into water over his head.

Kendall: Yeah, Mom, I'll let you know what's going on. I hope you can make it up here. Yeah, I'm glad I called, too. Bye.

Kendall: Thank you for making me do that.
Ryan: Hey, you're the one who dialed the number.
Kendall: I was so close to calling her so many times, but she always has that disappointed sound in her voice and I didn't want to hear it again.
Ryan: Well, you won't. Not from now on.
Kendall: It's all going to be different, isn't it?
Ryan: Well, yeah. You're getting married, girl. All the bad stuff's behind you.
Kendall: Yeah?
Ryan: Yeah! Ok. My turn.
Kendall: What? What? Who are you calling?
Ryan: Chris.
Kendall: No. Ryan, you can't. No. Chris hates me.
Ryan: Well, he's just going to have to suck it up.
Kendall: No, Ryan, Chris will try to talk you out of it.
Ryan: Never going to happen. Look, you're going to be his daughter-in-law. All right, if he wants me hanging around, well, then, he's just going to have to accept you.

Chris: So then my Nonna whips around and starts screaming in Italian as loud as she can, and those little punks -- they ran like hell.
Erica: What was she saying?
Chris: The lyrics from an aria in "Tosca."
[Phone rings]
[Chris is rubbing Erica's shoulders]
Erica: Oh, oh, don't stop. I'll get it.
Chris: Ok, I won't stop.
[Erica answers the phone]
Erica: Chris Stamp's line.
Ryan: Erica? Hey, it's Ryan. I've got some news. I've got some big news.

Hayley: Is there anything we should look for?
Joe: Well, fever, of course. Any drastic change in behavior.
Mateo: So do we need an ambulance to take him home, or can we drive him home in our car?
Joe: Well, I think a coach and four might do the trick.
Hayley: A what?
Joe: Yeah. Or maybe that's splashy enough.
[Isabella, Marian and Stuart roll in a large, old fashioned pram - covered with balloons]
Mateo: Wow.
Marian and Isabella: Surprise!
Stuart: It's for Enzo's homecoming.

Girl: Do you know where Maureen is?
Tad: No, but we're looking for her. Sounds like you miss her, though.
Girl: She tells good stories. And she lets you finger-paint even if you make a mess.
Nurse: Brittany, come on. I'm sorry she bothered you.
Tad: No, she didn't. Not at all. Listen, I'll make you a promise. As soon as I find Maureen, I'll tell her that her friend Brittany is looking for her. That is your name, right? Ok.
Nurse: Brittany, let's go.

Woman: She's one of the kids in Maureen's group. Maureen had a real gift for keeping their spirits up. She really helped them heal.
Tad: Could we take a look at Maureen's file? I mean, there may be something useful in that.
Brooke: Unless, of course, you need some more ID.
Woman: No, we checked you out. The owner of "Tempo" magazine is good enough for me. I'll get Maureen's folder.

Brooke: She's a cute little girl.
Tad: Yeah.
Brooke: I think you bonded.
Tad: Well, you know me -- kids and dogs.
Brooke: No, I think she got to you.
Tad: Yeah. Can't help myself. I just have this picture in my mind of the kind of little girl Dixie would have been.
Brooke: Of the little girl Dixie would have had?
Tad: Blonde. And probably the kind of kid that wouldn't be too shy about running up to a total stranger and asking him to find her friend.
Brooke: Feisty, just like Dixie. It's the might-have-beens, you know, that get you every time.
Tad: Yeah, well, I can't afford to let anything get to me right now.
Brooke: It's called mourning, and you have to do it.
Tad: Believe me, the best thing that I can do for myself right now is to make sure that Hayley and Mateo don't go through what I have.
[The woman returns]
Tad: Well?
Woman: Hi.

Hayley: Was this your idea?
Stuart: Yeah, well --
Hayley: Oh.
Marian: Joe called us and told us what happened, Darling.
Stuart: Yeah, I know Enzo loves red, so I got two red balloons right there in front where he can see them.
Hayley: Thank you.
Isabella: And we brought Pedro!
Mateo: Thanks, Mom. And for everything else, huh?
Hayley: Yeah, really, for everything you do for us. We know we don't say it enough.
Stuart: Oh, you don't need to say "thank you" to your family.

Joe: Edmund, there's a call for you. Why don't you take it over there.
Edmund: Ok. Hello?
Brooke: Edmund?
Edmund: Hey, Brooke. Just in time. Enzo's going home.
Brooke: Listen, give Hayley and Mateo my love. Things are not going so well here. It seems that our donor has disappeared.
Edmund: Did you check the hospital where she's working?
Brooke: That's where we are now. Nobody seems to know anything. So we're heading back home. Just tell Hayley and Mateo that, you know, we're not going to give up. We will find this woman. We will.
Edmund: Yeah. All right, you fly safe. I love you.

Hayley: Thank you so much. Thank you. Good night.
Marian: Let us know if we can do anything, ok?
Hayley: Absolutely, I will. Thank you.
Marian: Bye-bye.
Isabella: We'll come tomorrow.
Mateo: Good night, Mom.

Edmund: That was Brooke on the phone. It seems our donor has disappeared.

[Greenlee and Leo's hotel room]
Greenlee: Thank you.
Count du Pres: Thank you, Wolfe, for your help today. You may leave us now, please.
Marius: Of course, monsieur. Good evening.

[Wolfe leaves]
Greenlee: Count du Pres --
Count du Pres: Please, call me Guy.
Greenlee: Right. Guy, I think you're a sweetie, but that Neanderthal gives me the creeps.
Guy: Wolfe is loyal and devoted to me, but unfortunately, he is --
[Guy rolls his eyes]
[Greenlee gasps]
Greenlee: Leo, he just did that thing.
Leo: What thing?
Guy: I don't understand.
Greenlee: That thing that you do with your eyes when you get really disgusted. You know, that "give me a break" thing.
Guy: You mean we share a trait in common?
Greenlee: Yes, yes.
Leo: Wow, I guess it must be -- maybe it's genetic.
Guy: Perhaps we should leave that to the good people at the laboratory for tomorrow after the test, huh?
Leo: Yeah. I guess.
Guy: Well, I I will keep you both informed.
Greenlee, Mon cherie, a bientot.
Greenlee: Au revoir, Guy. Thank you for such a great day.
Guy: Au revoir, Leo. Au revoir.

Erica: Well, what kind of news, Ryan?
Ryan: I think I'd better talk to Chris.
Erica: Ok, he's right here.
[Erica hands the phone to Chris]
Chris: Hey, Ryan. What's going on?
Ryan: Kendall and I are getting married.
Chris: What did you say?
Ryan: Oh, I think you heard me.
Chris: Ryan, why don't you come over here and we'll talk about this, ok?
Ryan: This is not up for debate, all right? I'm just telling you.
Chris: Look, son, you're not thinking straight. You can't marry a woman who's about to go to jail.
Ryan: She's not going to jail. And even if she was, what am I supposed to do, like, cop out on her? Is that what you would do for Erica?
Chris: Erica is not an angry, confused, disturbed, young lady.
Ryan: Hey, hey, this is my future wife you're talking about here. Be happy for me, Dad.
Chris: Ryan, look, why don't you just at least wait a little while. There's been a trial date set, and it's soon.
Ryan: When is it?
Chris: It's July 5.
Ryan: Thank you. You just gave me the date for the wedding.
Chris: Ryan, please, don't --
Ryan: You're invited to come. And I'm sorry that there isn't more notice -- I didn't give you more notice, but it's going to be the day before Kendall's trial begins.
[Ryan hangs up]
Chris: There's nothing I can say to Ryan. He's going to be a hero.
Erica: They're getting married. Well, maybe he's going to change his mind.
Chris: No. No, I know him. He believes in her. He -- he actually thinks that she's innocent.
Erica: Chris, I'm so sorry.
Chris: He's going to stand by her. He's going to marry her.
Erica: I wish there was something that I could say.
Chris: Erica, my son is going to throw away his life for her.

Kendall: I'm not holding you to what you said because Chris got you mad --
Ryan: I'm marrying you before you walk into that courtroom. And if Chris and Erica want to try and bring you down, well, they're just going to have to try and go through your husband first.

Mateo: Well, I mean, we've got some time. It doesn't have to happen tomorrow, right?
Hayley: Tonight is a victory for Enzo, and I just want to keep it that way.
Edmund: Right. Listen, I -- I got to go home and tuck the kids in. You call me if you hear anything, ok?
Mateo: Thanks, Ed.
Edmund: All right?
Hayley: Thanks for everything.
Edmund: Ok.
Hayley: Thank Brooke, too.
Edmund: All right. Love you. Good night.
Mateo: Ok.
Hayley: Good night.

Mateo: Enzo's going to be ok.
Hayley: You say that like you know for sure.
Mateo: Listen, don't ask me how I know. I just do.
Hayley: I pray to God you're right.

Brooke: Listen, thank you very much for all of your help. And if you hear anything about Maureen --
Woman: I'll call.
Brooke: Great. Thank you.
Tad: Thanks.
Brittany: Wait! Remember to tell Maureen I want to see her.
[Brittany hugs Tad]
Tad: I'll remember. I promise. I'll tell her that her dear friend Brittany is on a mission to get her back. How about that? Ok. Time for me to go.
Brooke: Bye, Sweetie.
[Tad and Brooke leave]

Nurse: Let's go, Brittany.
Brittany: Will they find Maureen?
Nurse: I don't know, Sweetie. But I'm sure wherever she is, she's helping some little girl just like you.
Brittany: She has to come back to finish the story. She never told me what happened to the princess who lived in Wildwind Castle. I want to know if she lived happily ever after.

Greenlee: Oh, I love this. You're beyond happy.
Leo: I guess. Yeah, I -- I like the Guy. You know, I think that I could respect him. I know that I just met him, but I sort of understand what it would feel like to --
Greenlee: To have a father.
Leo: Yeah. What are you doing?
Greenlee: This is huge for you. I'm going to cancel my flight and stay here with you and Guy.
Leo: No, Greenlee, you've got to work tomorrow. You can't -- you got, you know, all the bridal stuff.
Greenlee: Hmm, let's see -- Leo gets a father, Greenlee gets to sell lip-gloss.
Leo: No. Greenlee gets the chance to make the competition eat her dust. And I am not going to get in the way of that, ok?
Greenlee: Are you sure?
Leo: Yes, I'm totally sure. I can spend the day with Guy and, you know, we're going get the test done. You know what I just thought of? This last father's day might be the last one that I ever spend without a father of my own.

[Guy returns to his car]
Guy: Ah, Wolfe, the pleasure of life is in the tricks that fate plays on one. When I woke up this morning, I never dreamed that I might have another son.
[Wolfe mutters to himself -- ]
Wolfe: And tomorrow you could wake up and find that your new son is gone again.

Greenlee: I'm going to knock you down so hard I'll knock the white off your teeth.
