ALL MY CHILDREN

JUNE 26, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Chris: Before I actually hire you, I'm going to have to run a security check. Anybody who has access, they're going to be privy to every detail in ms. Kane's life.

Kendall: I get the feeling that you always get what you're after.
Aidan: Are you this encouraging to everybody?

Guy: I've arranged the DNA test.

Marius: Tomorrow you're going to wake up and find that your new son is gone again.

TODAY'S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[GREENLEE'S LOFT]
[Doorbell rings]
Simone: Ah, you must be here for the photo shoot. Come in. Ms. Smythe's expecting you.
Man: I'm Rafaello.
Simone: Oh. Oh.
Rafaello: This is our stylist, Mishka.
Simone: Ah. How do you do? So, uh, Ms. Smythe will be out momentarily. Her family's on the way. In the meantime, can I get either one of you coffee? Water?
Mishka: No.
Simone: Ok. Wait until you meet Ms. Smythe. Greenlee. She is the perfect -- beyond perfect -- ultimate bride. We're talking, like, Elizabeth Hurley before the baby. Perfect. And her fiancé, Leo -- oh, man, they are so totally in love.
[Greenlee staggers in the room - hair standing on end, in a messy robe and sporting a very red nose]
[Greenlee sneezes]
Greenlee: Oh. Where the hell is Leo?

[PV PARK]
Anna: Ooh! Oh, hi.
Leo: Hey. Uh, I'm like a half an hour late to get to Greenlee's --
Anna: I thought you and I agreed that you weren't going to leave town.
Leo: Uh-huh. Yeah.
Anna: So you figured that meant leave the country, right?
Leo: You found out?
Anna: You give me one good reason I shouldn't throw your sorry backside in jail.

[OAK HAVEN]
[Vanessa reads the paper]
Vanessa: "Greenlee Smythe to wed Leo du Pres. Mr. And Mrs. Woodruff Greenlee announce the upcoming nuptials of their granddaughter, Greenlee Smythe, to Leonardo du Pres. Ms. Smythe is the daughter of Mary Greenlee Smythe and Roger Smythe and -- July wedding is planned, honeymoon in Europe. The couple plans to reside in Pine Valley."

Vanessa: Well, it's just about time. And what happened to you?
Trey: I was on a balcony outside of --
Vanessa: I don't want those kind of details. I want to know what you are doing to stop this damned wedding!

[PINE CONE MOTEL - RYAN'S ROOM]
Kendall: Oh, my God, it's morning. Ryan? Ryan?
[Kendall wakes up and Ryan isn't there - she rushes outside]
Aidan: You again. You all right?
Kendall: No, damn it. Do I look all right to you? Sorry. I'm not human till I've had my coffee.

[Kendall goes back into Ryan's room]
[Kendall dials the phone]
Trey, this is, like, the 32nd message I've left you. Why the hell haven't you gotten back to me? Do you understand I've got a freaking crisis? My sister is going to lie about me on the stand, and -- and Erica and Ryan's father are going to back her. They're out to get me and I --
[Ryan walks in]
Ryan: You really believe that, don't you?
Kendall: Where were you last night? Why didn't you come home?
Ryan: I was out walking.
Kendall: All night?
Ryan: Yeah, I had a lot to think about.
Kendall: Great. You had a lot to think about, and I was here going out of my mind. The least you could've done was call me.
Ryan: Come on, Kendall, you know where I was going.
Kendall: Yeah, you were out with Bianca, who's trying to put me in jail.
Ryan: I was trying to help J.R.
Kendall: You went with the enemy.
Ryan: Come on, for God's sakes --
Kendall: Ryan, I have enemies. I have enemies. I know you don't want to believe it, but I do.
Ryan: Would you listen to yourself, please? Would you? You're so tied up -- tied up about this Erica and Bianca thing. I mean, you don't even care that a kid was in trouble last night.
Kendall: I was in trouble. I still am.
Ryan: Bianca called me to tell me about J.R. You hung up on her.
Kendall: She's trying to put me in a jail cell, Ryan.
Ryan: You know, it's funny. You haven't even asked if J.R.'S all right.
Kendall: Is he?
Ryan: For a kid who just lost his mom, yeah, I guess he's hanging in there. Thanks for your concern.
Kendall: Ryan, you just don't get it. You don't get it.
Ryan: Yeah, I do. I get what you're going through. I get that you're all out of control when I left with Bianca last night and then a little while later you're laughing it up with the Brit next door.
Kendall: You saw that?
Ryan: And now you're all out of control again.
Kendall: Ryan, you would be, too. Bianca's trying to frame me. They're trying to take away my life!
Ryan: Can you think about anything else other than payback for Erica and Bianca? Is that possible? That's what I was thinking about last night.
Kendall: I have to fight them.
Ryan: No, you don't.
Kendall: I have to!
Ryan: No. No, you don't. This is bad. This is bad for you, this is bad for us.
Kendall: What are you saying?
Ryan: Kendall, we can't keep going on like this.

Leo: Anna, I -- I went to Paris because of you.
Anna: Thank you.
Leo: I went to Paris so that I could find Vanessa's drug money just like we talked about. But I didn't find it, so I came back home. That's it.
Anna: Oh, no, that's not it.
Leo: Greenlee's not the only one waiting for me right now, ok? Her mother, who hates guts, is also there keeping score, so I --
Anna: I know that's not all that happened in Paris.
Leo: Anna, please, just --
Anna: I know you saw Count du Pres. You want to tell me how that went?
Leo: Look, the cosmetic people set up this photo shoot for me and Greenlee this morning. A lot of fashion snobs, it's kind of a big deal. And I forgot my tux at the cleaners. Greenlee's already back at the loft spitting fire, so I really --
Anna: Leo, this is serious.
Leo: I know. You better believe this is --
Anna: I had the count checked out.
Leo: Checked out how?
Anna: Well, I think you might be right about him because he really does fit the profile that we're looking for.
Leo: No way.
Anna: No, he's a billionaire and he moves money around Europe. He has diplomatic immunity --
Leo: I'm telling you he's not in this, Anna.
Anna: And he was connected to Vanessa.
Leo: Anna, would you please listen to me? There is absolutely no way that that Guy is dirty.
Anna: You know this how?
Leo: Because I met him. He's awesome. There's something inherently good about the Guy. I know, ok? I could just tell there's a --
Anna: Leo, he got to you.
Leo: He's not a -- he's not a con, all right? He didn't even know that I was his son but he wants to find out. We're having DNA tests done right now.
Anna: You are?
Leo: Yeah, right now in Paris. And he said that he hoped that I was his son.
Anna: Yeah, I bet he did.
Leo: And he sounded like he meant it. And I think that that's pretty cool.
Anna: Yeah, that's very cool. Ok, well, you go to the photo shoot. We'll talk later.
Leo: Ok.

Simone: Oh, bless you. Bless you. Oh, baby --
Greenlee: Oh! Ugh. Kendall Hart did this to me. I never should've tangled with that germ-infested --
[Greenlee gasps]
Greenlee: Could you possibly make me look a little less dead?
Mishka: I'm a stylist, not a healer.
Greenlee: Why does everything happen to me? This is the second most important day of my life.
Simone: You're still going to look abso--
Greenlee: Don't finish that thought. You're my only friend. I don't want to hit you.
Simone: You know, it's -- it's really not that bad.
Greenlee: Simone, the one piece of equipment I can always work is a mirror.

[Roger and Mary walk in]
Mary: Was that before or after you picked up the topless waitress in the karaoke bar?
Roger: If you're going to dredge up ancient history --

Mary: Hi, darling.
Simone: I'm going to help the photographer set up.
Greenlee: Oh, why bother? I'd crack the mirror right now.
Mary: Oh, what are you talking about? Oh, my God!
Greenlee: What am I going to do, Mommy?
[Greenlee sneezes]
Mary: Oh -- bless you.
Roger: Bless you.
Greenlee: Oh, I can't be immortalized looking so infected and blotchy! That Kendall is toxic!
Mary: All right, calm down. You're Greenlee Smythe, you're my daughter, we do not cave in in a crisis. You with the hairbrush --
Greenlee: This is Mishka. She's the stylist.
Mary: Mishka, just -- just start styling.
Mishka: I am sorry. I --
Mary: Just --
Mishka: I was thinking of upsweep.
Roger: My poor baby. Is there anything I can do to help?
Mary: You? Help?
Roger: Not now, Mary. I'm trying to help my daughter.
Mary: Ok, let me see. Upsweep. Ok, this piece definitely should be back --
Simone: Greenlee, maybe I should check in at the office.
Greenlee: Could you make me that fantastic green tea that you make first?
Simone: Of course. One cup of green tea coming up.
Mary: Ok? That should be all right. Where are you going?
Roger: I want a glass of water.
Mary: Stay. Just put your needs aside for one moment. Mitzi and I here are --
Mishka: Mishka.
Mary: Mishka. Sorry. Mishka and I are trying to create a flawless look for Greenlee. Just please for once try to preserve the illusion that this is all about her.
Roger: I don't need you to tell me what to do, Mary.
Mary: You need my help right now --
[Phone rings]
Mary: And you need and always have needed a keeper.
Roger: Are you the woman who swore she'd never become her mother? Mary: Yeah, and I
didn't, did I?
[Ring]
Mary: Let's talk about what you've become, dear.
Roger: Why don't you stuff it, Mary?

Greenlee: Hello?
Guy: Greenlee, ma cherie, how are you?
Roger: This is absolutely ridiculous --
Greenlee: Guy?
Roger: You trying to be mother of the year.
Greenlee: Is that you?
Roger: You don't do --
Guy: Yes.
Would it be possible I might speak with Leo, if you please?
Greenlee: Wait, wait a minute. I can't hear. Would you stop it? It's Leo's father.
Roger: I didn't know Leo had a father.

Trey: Don't worry. I would never let your son walk down that aisle, even if you wanted it.
Vanessa: Oh. Oh, dear.
Trey: What -- no. No. No, no, no, no. Not the crazy act again. Do not do this.
Vanessa: What son? I have no son.
Trey: Oh, for crying --
Vanessa: And you know what else? There was never a movie about -- there was no wedding in this movie. No, no, no, unless you've done anher rewrite --
Trey: Look, I am jet-lagged and I feel like I have been wrestling an 18-wheel truck. Ok, so could we please just cut the BS?
Vanessa: Darling, you are the writer. You know, if you just calm down, maybe just tell me the story as you're writing it.
Trey: What the hell does that mean?
Vanessa: Well, you're the one that just got back from location scouting, didn't you?
Trey: I followed your -- Leo to Paris, where he just spent most of his time hanging out with his fiancée.
Vanessa: Oh, listen, normally I don't put down any of my fellow actors, but this ingénue is not what she pretends to be.
Trey: Leo also spent a lot of time with a Frenchman. Yeah, a guy about your age.
Vanessa: Uh-huh. A man, huh? Oh, my co-star.
Trey: Maybe from an earlier film. This Frenchman was very wealthy and powerful. They say he's a count.
Vanessa: Fascinating. Yes, yes. Well, go on.
Trey: Leo seems to believe that he's his father. He's even conned the count into taking a blood test to see if their DNA matches.
Vanessa: Oh, well, you know, you can't -- you can't have that. You can't -- you can't have that. No, no, no.
Trey: Oh, it's too late. They already got the samples.
Vanessa: Well, then you just have to stop it!
Trey: Why?
Vanessa: Because -- you just go to Paris. You do whatever you have to do. But you make certain that those results are never seen because -- no, you have to rewrite that.
Trey: Why?
Vanessa: Just stop asking stupid questions and go!
Trey: No, no. Oh, no. No. I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what the hell this is all about.
Vanessa: Oh.

[VALLEY INN DINING ROOM]
Aidan: So, you asked me to breakfast. to discuss security checks?
Chris: Yep. Got a full report on you.
Aidan: Anything interesting?
Chris: Oh, there are a couple of things, like that little run-in with the Bobbies you had before you left England.
Aidan: So, if you've seen that, you also know that I was cleared of the charges.
Chris: And I've also seen your service record.
Aidan: You do have connections.
Chris: Yeah, I get around. I know you saw action in Afghanistan, pretty rough stuff from what I read. I'm going to chalk up the Bobby incident that you had to blow off some steam after you got back.
Aidan: Anything else?
Chris: You tell me. Or I'll find out. Ok, so here's the deal. Job's yours if you want it.

Kendall: Did you say we can't go on?
Ryan: Not like this. Look, I just want you to look at something, ok?
Kendall: Well, because I'm having a blast with all of this.
Ryan: No, no, no. Nope, nope. Shh. One second. Look at this. Calendar. Couple days until your trial, right? Which should only last, what, no more than a week?
Kendall: You hope.
Ryan: By then we will be married, you'll be acquitted --
Kendall: Again, you hope.
Ryan: And we will be so far out of this town. Now, tell me, can -- can you stay away from Erica and Bianca that long?
Kendall: Don't talk to me. They're the ones --
Ryan: Can you go that long without a hate fix? What, do you need a patch or, like, a 12-step program? Tell me, what do you need?
Kendall: Do want me to just play dead and let them run all over me?
Ryan: No. No, actually, I just want you to win your trial and I want you to forget about them.
Kendall: What makes you so sure that that's going to happen? Bianca's all set to lie.
Ryan: You're going to win because you're innocent.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, that always works.
Ryan: Just calm down, all right? Trust me.
Kendall: Ryan, it's not about you.
Ryan: See this?
[Ryan grabs Kendall's hand and points to her ring]
Ryan: Remember this? Isn't this about trust? Isn't this about you trusting me with your life and me trusting you in mine?
Kendall: Trust isn't something that comes naturally to me. But I'll try. I'll try hard.
Ryan: Ok. You try hard and I'll make you a promise. As tough as everything is right now -- when we get through all this, our life will be great.
Kendall: I'm going to hold you to that.
Ryan: Yeah?
Kendall: Mm-hmm.
Ryan: Good. Good, good. I got to get going.
Kendall: Now where you going?
Ryan: Well, I just got to take care of a couple things.
Kendall: You haven't even slept yet.
Ryan: Ok, remember you said that you were going to trust me? Remember that? Start now, ok?

Greenlee: What were you saying, Guy? I can hear you now.

Roger: So, does the maid of honor get her photograph taken today, too?
Simone: No, today is just family -- the bride and groom and the loving mom and dad.

Greenlee: Guy, Leo's not here right now.
Guy: When did you last see him?
Greenlee: Half an hour ago. But if you have the results of the DNA test, maybe you should tell me. If it's not good news, I can break it to him. You know, he's kind of wired lately, and --
[Leo comes running into the loft]
Leo: Ok, Greenlee, before you shred my tux with your manicure scissors, I have to -- whoa -- you -- you look gorgeous, baby.
Greenlee: I hate you. It's Guy.
[Greenlee hand the phone to Leo]
Leo: Hello? Guy: Leo, my dear boy, it is so good to hear your voice.
Leo: You, too.
Guy: All goes well, Leo, I hope.
Leo: Yeah, sure. Thanks. So, did you -- did you get it?
Guy: Yes, yes. It arrived this morning.
Leo: So, what?
Guy: It is a very beautiful invitation. I look forward very much to seeing you marry the beautiful Greenlee.

Vanessa: You have to go to Paris.
Trey: I don't have to go to the corner store for you.
Vanessa: Oh! You have to do those rewrites because it's in my contract.
Trey: Look, I told you what I want.
Vanessa: Well, I am the star here. You know, you're just a writer and I can have you replaced.
Trey: Tell me the con. Tell me the con so I can go track the money myself.
Vanessa: Oh, God, this is not about money. It's about the art.
Trey: It's about you're not getting what you want until I get what I want.
Vanessa: You go to Paris!
Trey: You go to hell. You back off, you wack job, or you're going to end up in worse shape that I am.
[Vanessa and Trey start to jab one another]
Vanessa: Ooh --
Trey: Aah!
Vanessa: You watch who you're dealing with because I once played a samurai Goddess in a flick called "Gonzo Road," you -- oh, oh, oh -- ow! Don't! What are you --
[Trey throws Vanessa down on the hospital bed and starts choking her]
Trey: You talk! You talk, or this is going to be the last performance you ever give!
Vanessa: Oh, God, don't --
Trey: You shut up! You shut up, or I will shut you up!
Vanessa: Help! Please, somebody help me! Please! He's trying to kill --
Orderly: What are you doing?
Second orderly: Get off her!
Doctor: What's going on in here?
Vanessa: This man's crazy. This man is crazy.
Doctor: You're all right, you're all right. Take a deep breath.
Anna: What happened?
Vanessa: He tried to kill me. He tried to kill me. He should be locked up!
Trey: It's no problem, Anna. I won't press charge
Vanessa: You won't press charges?
Trey: It's partly my fault. I should have seen her getting so agitated. I'm sorry.
Vanessa: He tried to kill me! No, no, no --
Trey: I've worked with clients who are mentally disturbed before. I shouldn't have let her get so close.
Anna: So she came after you?
Trey: I would normally be able to handle this, but I had an accident, and my hand is --
Vanessa: He attacked me. Don't you ever let me alone in the room with him again.
Trey: Vanessa, it's ok.
Vanessa: Aah, no! You -- you --
Doctor: Mrs. Cortlandt, control yourself!
Anna: I don't mean to tell you your job, but shouldn't she be in restraints?
Doctor: Mrs. Cortlandt, that's enough!
Trey: I distressed her again. I'm sorry.
Vanessa: No. No, don't do this to me. Don't do this. Don't you do this to me! Don't you do this to me. Don't -- don't do it.
Doctor: It's all right.
Vanessa: No, no, no --
Doctor: It's all right.
Vanessa: No, no, no. Don't do this.
[Vanessa is put in restraints]

Chris: So what do you think? It's a good job. It's yours if you want it, if you plan on sticking around.
Aidan: I am for a while. Yeah, I'll take the job.
Chris: Good.
Aidan: Thanks. When do I start?
Chris: How's today?
Aidan: I'll see you at Enchantment.
[Ryan walks up to Chris and Aidan's table]
Chris: Ryan. I want you to meet my son. Ryan, this is Aidan. He's going to be working at Erica's penthouse.
Ryan: Nice to meet you.
Chris: This is my son, Ryan Lavery.
Ryan: Hi. Listen, I really need to talk to you right away, ok?
Aidan: I better be off.
Chris: All right, I'll see you later.
Aidan: Ryan.

Ryan: Right. I need you to level with me.
Chris: Have a seat.
Ryan: I don't care who's involved, I don't care who you're trying to protect --
Chris: Ryan, why don't you just tell me what's on your mind.
Ryan: Kendall said that she overheard something.
Chris: Why did I know that her name was going to come up in this?
Ryan: Bianca was here with you.
Chris: Yeah.
Ryan: And she said that she was going to lie on the stand at Kendall's trial.
Chris: What?
Ryan: I mean, we know that Bianca would do anything for Erica no matter what's going down between, you know, Erica and Kendall.
Chris: Oh, so Erica's in on this, too?
Ryan: Well, it's not the first time that Erica would play games in a courtroom. I mean, come on.
Chris: Do you think that I would go for a setup like that?
Ryan: I don't know. I don't know. You love Erica, and so I -- so just tell me -- is she going to ruin my life? Because if she frames Kendall, that's exactly what she's going to do.
Chris: Wait, wait. You really believe that Bianca would lie on the stand? She would perjure herself?
Ryan: Kendall swears that that's what she heard. That's all I'm saying.
Chris: Kendall is lying, and she's lying to you. Leo: We're not even sure -- we're not even sure if you're my father, so if you'd rather not --

Guy: Would I rather not attend your wedding? Is that what you are asking?
Leo: Well, I just -- I don't want you to feel like you have to, that's all.
Guy: Leo, nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see you get married to the beautiful Greenlee.
Leo: Then we'd be more than happy to have you here.
Guy: D'accord. And please understand there is another reason.
Leo: Yeah, ok.
Guy: It is most likely I will by then have my hands on the result of the test. I would like very much to open it in your presence so that we may learn the results together.
Leo: Sounds good.
Guy: If it is as we both wish, then we can celebrate together.
Leo: Yeah, yeah, that'd -- that'd be great.
Guy: I look forward to sharing your wonderful day. Please embrace the beautiful Greenlee for me.
Leo: Will do.
Guy: A bien tot, Leo.
Leo: All right. Bye-bye.

Greenlee: Leo?
Leo: He doesn't know yet.
Greenlee: I'm sorry.
Leo: You know, it's -- it's not going to happen anyway.
Greenlee: You don't know that.
Leo: The test -- he's not -- he's going to come all the way here for nothing.
Mary: So the count is coming? Well, that's good. We've got to get a press release to all the major New York papers.
Leo: You did it.
Mary: Did what?
Leo: You went behind my back and sent him an invitation. Who the hell do you think you are? The Guy might not even be my father, some stranger, and you sent him an invitation to my wedding!

Doctor: I think she'll be ok for the time being.
Anna: Thank you.
Anna: Ok, Vanessa. We're alone now. No one can hear what we talk about in here.
Vanessa: I'm going to be late for makeup.
Anna: Oh, just stop. Just -- would you listen to me for a minute?
Vanessa: Well, I can't go to the set with these --
Anna: This is about Leo. Now, I was with him just a little while ago. He went to Paris. Did you know that? He had a meeting with this count du Pres. He thinks that this man is his father. He wants it. He wants it so desperately.
Vanessa: No, I'm not Vanessa, you know. This doesn't concern me.
Anna: I have no idea what kind of an act this man pulled on him, but Leo has this whole fantasy thing going. It's really sad.
Vanessa: And I think I want you leave now.
Anna: I had the count checked out. In my opinion, he's working with you.
Vanessa: Well, look -- look, I really have to get ready for my next scene.
Anna: When Leo finds out about this, he is going to be devastated.
Vanessa: Yes, well, you know, you're destroying my concentration.
Anna: You told David the truth about his father because you wanted to hurt him. You hate David enough to do that.
Vanessa: I don't know who you're talking about.
Anna: But when you saw how much it crushed him, I think even you felt something.
Vanessa: I don't know any of these people.
Anna: And if you think that that is bad, imagine what it'll be like when Leo finds out that the father he has waited for his entire life is really your accomplice.
Vanessa: Would you take these things off of me? Because I just want to get out of this room.
Anna: Loving Leo is about the only good thing you've ever done in your life. And you're willing to just throw that away?
Vanessa: I'm sorry, but I really can't help you.
Anna: Yes, you can. You can tell me the truth.

[Phone rings]
Kendall: Hello?
Trey: I got your message. What do you want, Kendall?
Kendall: Trey, where the hell have you been?
Trey: I do have other clients, you know.
Kendall: I don't care. They can wait. Did you hear what I told you about Bianca? What she's going to do? I need your help now.
Trey: Forget it. Look, I've had a terrible day already.
Kendall: I've got three days, you get that? Three lousy days to save myself. They're gunning for me.
Trey: All right. All right, all right. I'll meet you at the Valley Inn, ok?
Kendall: Now. Right now.

Ryan: All right, listen, I don't want to get into anything.
Chris: Same here.
Ryan: All right?
Chris: Same here.
Ryan: I just think you're wrong about Kendall.
Chris: Look, this is not the way to keep from getting into something, Ryan.
Ryan: She came to talk to you, all right? After I gave her Gail's ring --
Chris: You -- you gave her Gail's ring? Why?
Ryan: Well, because it's the one thing that means the most to me. I mean, you gave it to me. It belonged to my mother. It's the only thing I have that's from both of you.
Chris: You gave her Gail's ring when I --
Ryan: I'm telling you this because I want you to understand how serious I am.
Chris: You -- you were going to tell me why Kendall came here to see me.
Ryan: She came to talk to you because she wanted to make things right with you. Even though you're on Erica's side or whatever, she did it for me.
Chris: Ok, so Kendall's not all that bad, but I think you should look at the other things that she's done.
Ryan: The other things that she's accused of doing. She swears -- she swears that she did not set that fire.
Chris: Ryan, she's playing you.
Ryan: I'm going to stand by her, and then I'm going to marry her.
Chris: Well, you know, she's a heartbreak waiting to happen, son, and why can't you see that?
Ryan: Why can't you see what I'm doing? I mean, you stood by Erica. You went back to her after she lied to you. I mean, look at what that cost you.
Chris: Ryan, that was different. That was different.
Ryan: I'm doing the same thing you did. The only difference is that I know that Kendall's telling the truth.

Roger: Just couldn't resist the urge to show off the aristocracy, could you?
Greenlee: Simone -- mother, did you send the account an invitation?
Roger: Looking for a mention in a certain celeb column? Is that it?
Greenlee: Is daddy right?
Mary: All right, yes.
Greenlee: Mother, how could you?
Mary: I did it for Leo. I wanted him to have one presentable relative at the wedding.
Leo: Where the hell do you get off deciding that?
Mary: I'm deciding how to keep this wedding dignified!
Leo: No, this is my family! And it is my business! You stay out!
Roger: Score one for Leo.
Leo: You shut up! You, too.
Mary: If it makes you happy to be represented by a psychotic drug czarina --
Leo: She's the only parent that we know for sure that I've got! Ok? One killer nut bucket!
Mary: Ok. But the count --
Leo: He may not even be related to me.
Mary: But nobody has to know that until after the wedding.
Greenlee: Mama, shut up! Leo, please.
Mary: You are marrying into my family!
Roger: God help you.
Leo: That does not give you the right to mess with my life. Do you hear me, lady?
[Phone rings]
Mary: When it comes to my daughter's --
Simone: Hello? Yes. Hold on, please. It's for you.
Mary: Reputation that's at stake, that's exactly what it means.

Greenlee: Hello?
Leo: How do you like that? That'd be just fine with me if you guys didn't show up.
Mary: I'm not going to miss the wedding.
Leo: You don't --
Mary: And I didn't come --
[After listening to the person on the phone Greenlee hangs up and starts whimpering]
Leo: Greenlee? Greenlee, baby, what's wrong?
Greenlee: It isn't bad enough that I look awful and disgusting for this photo shoot --
Leo: You don't look disgusting.
Greenlee: And my groom and my mother hate each other, and my hair is beyond the help of human hands. The church got hit by lightning.
Simone: What?
Leo: What church?
Greenlee: The one we were getting married in.
Leo: It did?
Greenlee: If that isn't bad karma for our wedding, I don't know what is.
Leo: Uh -- come on, come on, come on.

Anna: Well, are you going to help your son?
Vanessa: I don't know what script you're reading from, but I have never seen it.
Anna: Right. Ok. I'll find the count and talk to him myself.
Vanessa: No, no, you really -- you really can't.
Anna: I know.
Vanessa: You can't. I won't let you do that.
Anna: I know that you don't want Leo to be hurt. I know that.
Vanessa: You have no idea what you're dealing with, my dear. You just leave it alone.
Anna: So why don't you just tell me what I need to know so that I can look out for him.
Vanessa: No. No, no, damn it! You can't do that. You -- oh, no. No! No, no, no, no! Oh, oh, oh --
[Vanessa starts thrashing around on her bed]
Anna: Bravo. Very good.
Vanessa: No, no.
Anna: Open your eyes now. This is not funny. This is not funny, Vanessa. Doctor! I need a doctor in here. Doctor!
Doctor: What is it?
Anna: I don't know. I think she's just playing around again.
Nurse: Her heart is pounding. You know, she does have a history of heart disease.
Doctor: Call a code. Get a nurse in here with a cardio defibrillator, stat! Shh, shh.
Anna: Is it for real?
Doctor: It's for real.

Chris: You -- you said you wanted me to level with you.
Ryan: I do.
Chris: Ryan, you're my son. I love you. I want what's best for you, and I've watched how you've pulled yourself together over these last few months, and --
Ryan: Well, Kendall's one of the reasons.
Chris: Kendall -- Kendall isn't going to bring you nothing but grief, son, and I'm not going to change my mind.
Ryan: Even if you did, I mean, there's always Erica --
Chris: And Kendall, and they're always going to go on hating each other.
Ryan: I know that. I know that. I know that.
Chris: Look, we're in a mess. I wish we weren't, but we are.
Ryan: Yeah, well, we're not going to be in a mess for long. Because after Kendall gets acquitted, we're leaving town.
Chris: Is that what you want? If she gets off, do you really want to leave here, Ryan?
Ryan: Kendall needs a fresh start, all right? She needs to get away from Erica.
Chris: That's not what I asked you. Right. You're right. As long as you're with Kendall and I'm with Erica --
Ryan: It's just screwed up. It's so screwed up. I mean, we just got to -- we have to put some space. We have to put some air between all of us.
Chris: All right. But until that time happens, what do you say you and I -- we make the best of it? What do you say?
Ryan: That sounds good to me.
Chris: You all right?

[Trey and Kendall watch Chris and Ryan]
Trey: You see why I don't want Ryan in the loop? Everything you say to him will go straight back to his father.

Doctor: Vanessa, can you understand me?
Vanessa: Yeah.
Doctor: You had a panic attack. We had a concern about cardiac involvement, but there's no indication of that. We've given you some medication, and we're going to be monitoring you. Now, try and get some rest. Give her a half-milligram of Alprazolam three times a day.
Nurse: Yes, doctor.
Doctor: You'll have to leave now.
Anna: I think I just saw you being honest for the first time. You're really afraid of something, aren't you? What is it?
Doctor: Chief Devane --
Anna: Right. Ok.

Leo: Honey, shh, shh --
[Greenlee cries]
Leo: I'm sorry that I lost it with your mom. It won't happen again, ok? Not if it kills me. Ok? Don't cry. You're going to be a beautiful bride, and we're going to have a beautiful wedding, ok? And your nose is going to stop turning red and your hair is going to stop -- bless you. Your hair is going to stop -- bless you. It's going to stop doing whatever it's doing right now. Ok? You're going to be a beautiful bride. I promise. And you're going to get everything that you want.

[Phone rings]
Vanessa: Hello?
Marius: Hello, Vanessa.
Vanessa: Wolfe? Wolfe, is something wrong?
Marius: Did you know le Comte is planning to attend your son's wedding? I can't have that.
Vanessa: No, no, not to worry because I'm going to make certain that the wedding never comes up so there will be no reason for the count and Leo to see each other.
Marius: No, I don't want you to do anything.
Vanessa: But you --
Marius: I want it to happen, Vanessa.
Vanessa: What? You want what to happen?
[Wolfe/Marius picks up a rifle

Greenlee: Our wedding is going to be a total bust, Leo. In fact, it already is.
Leo: No, it's not going to be a total bust. It's going to be everything that you want it to be. I promise.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Maggie: The prom is tonight, and nothing goes with anything else.

Kendall: You look hot.

Tad: That you think that Maureen Gorman is Maria is completely insane.

[Maria/Maureen listens on the phone]
Edmund: Hey, beautiful. What'd you forget, to tell me you love me?
