ALL MY CHILDREN

JUNE 5, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Greenlee: Anna's the chief of police. If you're caught leaving the country --
Leo: Well, here's an idea -- let's not tell her that I'm going.

Anna: I don't know if it's worth it.
David: If what's worth it?
Anna: Being married to you.

Liza: I just thought that it might be nice if you took your job back at Chandler Enterprises.

TODAY'S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[GREENLEE’S LOFT]
Greenlee: I don't want to let you go, Leo.
Leo: Greenlee, I'll be back before you can even miss me.
Greenlee: I already miss you.
Leo: Listen, I'm just going to Paris to find my father, ok, and hopefully Vanessa's drug money. That way I can return it to the cops and we'll be free to dance cheek to chest for the rest of our lives.
Greenlee: In the name of unlimited future romance, I guess I could spare you for a few days. Leo: I better get going. My flight's in three hours.
Greenlee: Got your passport?
Leo: Uh -- yeah.
Greenlee: Ok. You can get your ticket at the gate. You'll be at cruising altitude before anyone knows you're gone.
Leo: You're going to cover for me?
Greenlee: Yeah, if David or Anna decides to throw a --
[Knock on door]
Greenlee: -- family free-for-all, I'll just say we're too wrapped up in wedding plans.

[PINE VALLEY INN]
Maggie: Hey.
David: Hey.
Maggie: That is not the look of a happy house hunter.
David: We're not going, Maggie. Plans have changed. The house has been scrapped. I kind of messed up with Anna.
Maggie: It's not a news flash, Cuz.

[CHANDLER MANSION – MIA’S BEDROOM]
Jake: Hey.
Mia: Hey.
Mia: Oh, my God.
Jake: What?
Mia: We way overslept.
Jake: Well, who's punching a time clock here? Come here.
Mia: You don't understand. This house runs on a very tight schedule. I'm 10 minutes late for my three-minute egg. Adam and Liza will send a search party after me.
Jake: Oh. Well, we just hide under the covers.
Mia: I've got to sneak you out of here.
Jake: What?
[Phone rings]
Jake: Must be your wake-up call.

[TREY CALLING FROM THE PARK]
Mia: Hello?
Trey: Time to make another withdrawal, Mama Mia, or your kid's in for a world of hurt.

[CHANDLER MANSION – THE TERRACE]
Adam: Has Mia been down for breakfast?
Liza: I stopped by her room. Her door was locked. I guess she's sleeping in. Why?
Adam: Well, she just always gets the day off to such a good star it looks like it's going to be a wonderful day to sit by the pool, take it easy.
Tad: I don't think taking it easy is on the agenda today.
Liza: Tad and I are going back to work.

Trey: I need more cash, Mia. Large bills, today.
Mia: This isn't exactly the best time.
Trey: Oh, you hang up on me and that kid's going to the top of the hit list. Can you hold on, please?

Trey: Kendall, hi. Could you just give me a minute to wrap up this call?
Kendall: Sure. Make it quick. I've made a decision. I'll get some iced coffee from the sidewalk guy. How do you like yours?
Trey: Black.
Kendall: Ok.

Trey: Don't test me, Mia. I am dead serious about this one.
Jake: Who is that?

Adam: Liza, don't you think you're rushing things, Darling?
Liza: No. Not at all. I think -- oh, thank you -- getting into the swing of things will be exactly what I need.
Tad: I'll make sure that we both take it easy today. No corporate takeovers before lunch.
Liza: I'm so excited to be back on the board at Chandler's.
Adam: Well, I'm not onboard with this at all.
Liza: Well, that went well. Coffee?

Trey: Meet me in the park in one hour. No excuses.
[Mia hangs up]
Jake: Mia, do you have another guy on the side?

Kendall: Here we go, sir. Caffeine to jump-start our defense strategy.
Trey: Thank you for meeting me here.
Kendall: Trey, you're all hung up on this confidential bit.
Trey: Well, it pays to be cautious.
Kendall: Ryan is the only person in this town who's ever stood up for me. I can't -- I can't just keep him out of this, hide it from him.
Trey: Well, yes, you can, if you value my opinion and your freedom.
Kendall: Trey, the truth will give me my freedom. And our best defense strategy is figuring out whoever set that fire and nailing them for it.
[Bianca walks over to Kendall and Trey]
Bianca: And that little old firebug would be me?
Bianca: You are so desperate, Kendall, trying to hang this fire on me.
Kendall: Take a number, Hon. My lawyer and I are in a conference.
Bianca: This is so classic. First, you almost kill me and mom, and now you're trying to frame me for your insanity?
Kendall: Ok, wait just a second here. Let's see here, Binks. Who has a history of playing with matches and burning down houses? Could it be you?

Mia: Jake, I'm not seeing anyone else.
Jake: Well, if you are, you know, it's --
Jake: It's just the phone call seemed --
Mia: Shh. Don't worry about it.
Jake: Well, I do worry about it because I could see you're all shook up.
Mia: I just have this thing about being interrupted, that's all.
[Knock on door]
Adam: Mia? It's Adam. Are you decent?

Liza: You don't look anxious to get back to work.
Tad: On the contrary, "anxious" is a perfect word to describe what I'm feeling right now. Nonetheless, it beats the hell out of staying at home. Every time I turn around, I slam face-first into some memory of Dixie.
Liza: Well, it'll be good. Give you something to focus on.
Tad: Yeah, that's the idea. But I got to tell you, it was real torture dragging myself out of bed this morning. You know, forcing my feet to hit the bricks when all I wanted to do was just crawl back into bed.
Liza: It's got to be hard.
Tad: Yeah. Then I heard J.R. knocking around in his room. Poor kid lost his mother two weeks ago, you know, so now he's got to suck it up and get on with it. It's not exactly fair if I just crawl back into a cocoon, is it?
Liza: You did the right thing having J.R. come and live with you.
Tad: I'm not so sure your husband's sold on the idea.
Liza: You're the father that J.R. needs right now. Adam has too many things on his mind.

Mia: Adam -- I had kind of a late night and I overslept, so I'll just hop in the shower and I'll be right down.
Adam: Make it a quick one. I need your help with Liza.
Mia: Is she ok?
Adam: She's got it into her head she wants to go back to work today.
Mia: All right, all right.
Adam: I need your help.
Mia: Ok. Just give me 10 minutes.
Adam: Ok.

Jake: Ahem. Well, what do you think Adam's going to do if he found us together? Banish us to the corn field?
Mia: I am a guest in his house.
Jake: Yeah, but you're the one who snuck me up here to ravish me.
Mia: Yeah, well, now I've got to think of a way to sneak you out of here.
Jake: I got an idea. Throw a slipcover over me, shove me outside, and claim that I clash with the decor.
Mia: I'll think of something while I get dressed. Get dressed.

Liza: I was thinking that we should have a meeting with our stockholders just to encourage our investors that we're at the top of our game. What do you think?
Adam: Liza, have you cleared your going to back to work with your doctors?
Liza: Well, I didn't ask Dr. Greenberg for a note, but he said that work would be therapeutic.
Adam: I'm not sure I agree.
Liza: You don't have to agree. I'm going to go kiss Colby before she goes to preschool.

Adam: How's J.R.?
Tad: He's hanging on.
Adam: I was about his age when I lost my mother. I'm not sure you ever get over it.
Tad: Adam, we have to make some decisions.
Adam: Decisions? Tad: Yeah, about J.R.'s immediate future. You are his father. I think you should be in the loop.
Adam: How big of you.
Tad: Sorry. I just meant that I'm sure that we both have J.R.'s best interests at heart.
Adam: Depends on how you define "best."
Tad: He missed all of his exams because of Dixie's death.
Adam: Well, given the circumstances, I'm sure the school will allow makeup exams.
Tad: Well, given the circumstances, I'm not so sure that he's ready to just, you know, crack open the books and start cramming just yet.
Adam: But taking incompletes will put him a whole year behind, Tad.
Tad: I've already talked to his teachers, and they agree if I hire a tutor and he studies through the summer, he can take the exams in August.
Adam: I was hoping J.R. could intern for me this summer.
Tad: I know, I know, and he still can. But I think you would agree that his education is more important than a summer job.
Adam: Learning how to captain a corporate ship is a great deal more than a summer job, Tad.
Tad: With all due respect -- do you, in your heart of hearts, think that's what's best for him right now? Come on, Adam. We really need to be on the same page with this one.
Adam: You know, it's hard to be on the same page when we're shuttling this poor boy back and forth between two homes, two fathers, two sets of rules.
Tad: I agree. And that's why you and I have to do everything we possibly can to keep him grounded, to give him a sense of consistency and all the love and support he can possibly get.
Adam: Fine, then let him come home, live here with his father and his sister.
Tad: I'm sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, his home is with me.

Greenlee: Ahem -- Anna. This is a surprise. Isn't it, Leo?
Leo: Yeah, totally.
Anna: I know I should have called first, but I'm so wired.
Greenlee: What's up?
Anna: Your brother. Honestly, I feel like I'm married to an alien. And I should know because I -- anyway, he just doesn't give me any clue as to who he is. I don't know who he is.
Leo: Don't ask me to translate. I don't think anybody really understands David.
Anna: You know, Freud said that the biggest question is, apparently, "what do women want?" What do women want? You know, if he’d met David, he'd have said -- Leo, are you leaving town?
Leo: That's my gym bag. I'm going to the gym. I'm going to work out. It's for a change of clothes for afterwards.
Greenlee: He gets really sweaty.
Anna: So does David. Oh, well, I won't keep you. But the thing is -- and I hate to admit this, really, even to myself -- I just don't know to handle David. I -- I just don't know.
Leo: Well, he's not the easiest guy to understand.
Anna: He's a mystery. You know, if he were a book, I would turn to the last page and see how it all pans out. But he's not. I mean, that's a metaphor.
Greenlee: Well, isn't that part of the fun? T knowing where you're headed?
Anna: Not if you're headed there at breakneck speed.
Leo: I wish that I could help, but I got to get going.
Anna: Well, you can. I mean, that's why I came here, Leo, because you know him better than I do. Just tell me what to do. Please tell me how to navigate my way through this marriage.
Leo: Anna, you're looking at wrong-way du Pres. I can't navigate my way from here to the bathroom, for God's sakes. Yeah.
Anna: Look, it's not easy for me to ask for advice.
Leo: I understand that, but I just don't think that I'm the guy you want to ask the advice, you know?
Greenlee: Really, Anna, Leo doesn't have a lot of insight.
Leo: Yeah, the conversation starts getting deep and I get the bends.
Anna: Ok. Ok. But maybe if I could just use you as a sounding board, just hear my thoughts out loud, it would really help. I'd appreciate it.
Leo and Greenlee: Sure.
Greenlee: We've got time. Tell us what's wrong.
Anna: Oh, God, what's wrong? What's not wrong? I think it started from the day that we got married. The thing -- the thing is it's like he just -- he sort of lulls you into this feeling of being comfortable, and then he does something incredibly stupid. I mean, and I feel like I am always on edge, constantly.

[PINE VALLEY RESTAURANT]
Waitress: Here you go. Dressing on the side.
David: Thank you.
Waitress: Can I get you anything else with that rabbit food?
David: Yeah, I'll just have a cup of coffee, please. Maggie?
Maggie: I'll see how far I get with this.
Waitress: Ok, enjoy.
David: Did I kill your appetite?
Maggie: Please, I'm not that sensitive.
David: So you're not disappointed that I put our house on hold?
Maggie: David, it wasn't our house. It was a stupid little ad in the real estate section.
David: I know I should have told you sooner, but I thought about knocking on your door last night. I just couldn't get myself --
Maggie: Well, now I know. And look -- amazement. Maggie's not falling apart.
David: I'm the one that thought about us all moving in together. The big house, the yard, and -- I know you were psyched, Maggie.
Maggie: I don't do "psyched."
David: But you did want it, though.
Maggie: Ok, yeah, maybe I was into it for a little bit. But I haven't had a house in, like -- well, forever. But, hey, you don't miss what you never had, right? Waitress, do you think I could get a drink, please?
David: I think you're more disappointed than you're letting on.
Maggie: Come on, David, what do you expect from me? Do you want me to sit here and curl up and bawl like a baby? Ok, I admit it. I got wrapped up in this fantasy of having a house, a family, and a white picket fence for, like, a minute and a half. It's my own fault for getting wrapped up in it, really.
David: I'm sorry I couldn't make it happen, Maggie. Anna and I, we've just been at each other's throats lately, and, you know, I think I was just pushing her in a direction that she really wasn't ready for yet.
Maggie: Well, that's because you're married. I mean, you expect her to want what you want.
David: Yeah, something like that. What you said about not missing something that you never had? Well, I do. Actually, I long for it. The thought of having family dinners and lazy Sundays and taking the kids to the mall for a pair of sneakers.
Maggie: Well, it's going to save you a lot of grief.
David: Why would you say that, Maggie?
Maggie: Because families like that aren't real.
David: I don't believe that. And neither do you.
Maggie: Well, it's not going to happen for us, though, is it? Anna and you have been sliding into a crash for a long time.
David: Yeah, it does seem like that.
Maggie: I don't know. It's just weird. It's like you both want different things, but neither one of you are willing to cave in.
David: Look, you know, there's still a chance that this could work out. Anna and I, we just need to sit down and talk --
Maggie: Yeah, go for it.
David: And the house could still happen, ok? It's just kind of put on hold for the moment.
Maggie: David, whatever, really. Just move on with your day, your life. You don't need to worry about me.
David: All right. Look, I got to -- I got to go, ok? Here. Why don't you buy yourself some dessert.

[Maggie talks to herself]
Maggie: Maggie, you jerk.

Bianca: Bring it on, Kendall. Try to make me look guilty. It won't fly because I didn't set that fire, and all three of us know who did
Kendall: This is your best event, isn't it, Binks? Turning on me and tearing me down.
Bianca: Try and trash me, and I will throw it right back in your face, yeah.
Kendall: You don't have the backbone. But Erica does. All she has to do is give you the command "get Kendall" and you come out swinging.
Bianca: Kendall, if you believe that, you're severely delusional.
Kendall: No, it's true. It's true. All the sister bonding we did at Myrtle's, the faith, all the trust you had in me -- gone with just a flick of Erica's finger.
Bianca: Kendall, do you even believe the words that are coming out of your mouth? Yes, I did have faith in you.
Kendall: Yeah, for a whole five minutes.
Bianca: For too long. Kendall, we were on the same side. I was starting to see something in you that was so like me.
Kendall: Ok, that's an image I can do without.
Bianca: Kendall, we both busted our butts to try to figure out mom, to try to get her to see us for who we really are.
Kendall: The lesbian and the celebrity bastard baby?
Bianca: You do this thing, you put up these walls. I thought maybe that I could break through them and reach you.
Kendall: Why would you want to?
Bianca: Because I thought maybe you were worth it. Kendall, nobody wanted you to be more of a human being than I did. I was willing to give up my mother, Kendall, for you. Thank God I didn't. Thank God I found out the truth in time.
Kendall: What truth is that?
Bianca: That you're not human. Not even close. And since you set this fire, it's not just my opinion. It's public record.

Adam: I'm J.R.'s father!
Tad: I respect that. I am not trying to steal your son.
Adam: What do you call it?
Tad: Honoring Dixie's wishes.
Adam: Dixie's not here.
Tad: No, she's not, Adam. She's not. She's not here to pull us apart and send us to opposite corners, so we have to be big enough to do it ourselves. It's hard for me, too. I am begging you, just help me do what is best for J.R. Please.
Adam: Maybe you're right. I can't fight both of you.

[Adam walks into the front room and runs into Mia and Jake coming down the stairs]
Adam: Hello, Jake. You coming or going?
Adam: You surprise me, Mia.
Jake: Back off, Adam.
Mia: It's ok. I can handle it.
Jake: You sure?
Mia: Sure.
Jake: All right. I'll call you later?
Mia: Mm-hmm.
Jake: Have a nice day.

Mia: Look, I don't need a lecture about overnight guests. I know I'm a guest myself.
Adam: Mia, Mia, you're family.
Mia: But I'm also an adult. And if I broke some rule that I didn't know about --
Adam: No, no, no, no. You don't have to justify yourself to me. Your private life is exactly that.
Mia: Oh. So then it's okay if Jake sleeps overnight?
Adam: If it were just up to me, yes, of course it would be. But I'm concerned about Colby. What if Colby, looking for aunt Mia, had walked in on you and Jake in bed last night?
Mia: But I had my door locked.
Adam: Well, if you'd forgotten?
Mia: Adam, do you think I would expose Colby to something that she didn't understand, that would confuse her?
Adam: No, no, no, never intentionally. But children like Colby -- bright children are very perceptive. They sense what's going on around them.
Mia: I know, and I was careful. I was.
Adam: I'm sure you were. And I'm sure you know how much Colby loves you and relies on you. And what if she'd awakened in the middle of the night and called out to her Aunt Mia?
Mia: Do you seriously think that I would ignore her?
Adam: No, of course not.
Mia: Look, Adam, I promise you, I'm not trying to pull one over on you, okay?
Adam: Well, you did try to sneak Jake out of here today.
Mia: I brought him here. He had a hard day at work. He was trying to unwind, so we went swimming. No one saw us. Everyone was asleep. And he was going to leave before the sun came up, and we just overslept.
Adam: You don't have to defend yourself to me. You are a guest in this house. You are family, and you're welcome to stay as long as you wish. I just ask that you promise not to tell Liza about this.

Kendall: I don't have to take this crap from you.
Bianca: Right. Right, in a perfect world, Kendall, we would never have to see each other again.
Kendall: Except in court. I want front row seats when you're being sentenced.
Bianca: You know, you make it possible for anybody to care about you, Kendall. You turn yourself inside out to try to wreck me. Meanwhile, look at the damage you're really doing.
Kendall: Don't try to bring me down, Honey.
Bianca: Listen to me. You have one true good thing in your life, and that is Ryan, ok?
Kendall: He is none of your business.
Bianca: He is basically a really nice guy and very smart, too.
Kendall: And he believes in me.
Bianca: How long is that going to last?
Kendall: Forever.
Bianca: Or until he sees you for the twisted nut case that you really are, Kendall. I mean, this pathetic victim routine that you're pulling seems to be bringing out the white knight in Ryan right now, but how long is that going to last? Maybe as long as until he catches you in the act lying, cheating, stealing, torching? What's he going to do when he sees the real you, huh, Kendall?
Kendall: And that would be the real me, the subhuman?
Bianca: Mm-hmm. That would be you. The total waste of skin and time. Cheer up. You still got him. But remember that he gets paid to defend you.

Trey: How do you think that Bianca knew that she was your number one suspect?
Kendall: You got me.
Trey: Hmm. Well, aside from me, the only other person in on your new theory that she's the firebug is your boyfriend, Ryan.

Anna: So I married David to keep him out of jail.
Greenlee: Anna, there must have been something in it for you, too.
Anna: Well, yes, of course. You know, he's a challenge. So am I. And I think maybe I just did it to see whether I could pull it off. But now he's talking about taking this marriage, in name only, to, like, a different level.
Leo: Hmm.
Greenlee: Something more traditional?
Anna: Exactly. More traditional. It's mildly terrifying. He's talking about babies and porch swings and willow trees.
Leo: Willow trees?
Anna: Willow trees.
Greenlee: For the two of you? And he means it?
Anna: Definitely. And the thing is that I was -- I mean, I was starting to like the idea. But, you know, it's just the way he presents it to me. It's like, "here, this is what I want, take it or leave it."
Greenlee: Take it.
Anna: I know. But it has to be on his terms or else he thinks that I am rejecting him, and then he shuts down and we are back to square one, nowhere.
[Knock on door]
Leo: Well, that must be my cab, so -
Anna: To the gym?
Leo: Yeah, it's, like, four blocks.
[Leo opens the door]
David: Hey, Leo. Listen, I got to talk to you for a minute. It's about Anna.
Leo: I have to get the hell out of here!

David: So I left Maggie sitting at the restaurant looking like I just told her her dog died.
Greenlee: Well, yeah. I mean, you offer her this dream family and then you just snatch it away.
Anna: Maggie's a tough girl.
David: She puts on a brave face like some people I know. But deep down, I know she's hurting.
Anna: I think it runs in the family, doesn't it?
David: Leo, look, if we're keeping you --
Leo: Why would you say that?
David: Oh, I don't know. Maybe shouting, "I got to get out here" -- that's kind of a clue.
Anna: He's late for the gym. He's got a taxi waiting.
Leo: My trainer hates it when I blow him off.
David: Gym trainer?
Greenlee: Leo has to stay in shape for our trip down the aisle.
Anna: Well, I'm sorry. We won't keep you. Thank you so much for listening.
Leo: I hope it helped.
Anna: It's a little early to tell.
Leo: Ok.
David: Leo, look, would you do me a favor? Would you stick around Maggie for the next couple of days?
Leo: Why?
David: Well, she's bound to resent me for backing out of the house for now.
Leo: David, what the hell am I going to say to her? If she's down on you, there's nothing I can say to change her mind about this dysfunctional clan.
Greenlee: You know, my mother's been giving me some attitude about having a bigger wedding party.
Leo: So?
Greenlee: So we'll make Maggie a bridesmaid. Then maybe she'll feel closer to the family.
Leo: Good idea.
Greenlee: Yeah.
David: Well, Greenlee, that's very generous of you.
Anna: I don't think that she'll go for it. She doesn't seem the type.
Greenlee: Oh, trust me, I can sell her on the idea. I mean, look at me. I can't wait to jump into this family circus.
Anna: Whatever.
Leo: Well, you guys go ahead and, you know, work out the Maggie situation. I got go.
Greenlee, can you walk me out?

[Leo and Greenlee talk at the door]
Leo: That was so sweet of you to invite Maggie like that.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, we're supposed to spread happiness around.
Leo: Could you spread a little more for me? Could you invite Bianca to be one of your bridesmaids, too? Please, please, please --
Greenlee: Oh, Leo --
Leo: Please, Greenlee. She's one of my best friends, next to you. Ok, I would invite her to be an usher, but your mother would have a stroke.
Greenlee: You think Bianca would even want to be in my wedding party?
Leo: Absolutely, she wants to be there. She pushed us back together. Please? Please? Pretty please?
Greenlee: If you weren't so damned cute -- how can I say no?
Leo: Thank you. I love you. And when I get back from Europe, I'm going to have answers to all of our questions and we're going to be free, ok? I'm going to give you the life you want, Greenlee. I swear to God. All right, I got to --

David: Boy, if that's the kind of good-bye Leo gets when he goes to the gym, maybe I should join.
Greenlee: Ahem. So, have you two gotten past whatever it is that's between the two of you? Ok. Listen, why don't you make yourselves at home -- talk, raid the fridge, do whatever you want. Just slam e door hard when you leave, ok? I'm late for work. Kisses.

[Anna looks at David]
Anna: Now what?

Waitress: A piece of comfort food for you.
Maggie: Thank you.
Waitress: Enjoy.

[Girls laugh]
Girl: I can't believe it. I was, like, "oh, my gosh." I don't care what Mrs. Gazzola says. I am taking up the hem.
Girl: Hey. Aren't you, like, the sister of that girl, the one who was dating Bianca Montgomery? You know, the one who --
Maggie: Who died?
Girl: That was really sad. I was just curious -- since you guys are -- were-- twins, are you that way, too?
Maggie: What, dead?
Girl: I mean, you know -- gay.
Maggie: You know what? You might want to reconsider the whole cap-and-gown thing unless they plan on graduating the clueless. Excuse me.
[Maggie starts out of the restaurant and runs into Bianca]

Mia: Well, why should I keep Jake a secret?
Adam: Mia, we both -- we both know that Liza's had a hard time. We both know that. She may say she's signed off on you and Jake, but you weren't here when Jake and Liza and I were fighting over custody of Colby.
Mia: Yeah, but everything worked out ok.
Adam: Well, that would be a moot point. And now you and Jake are getting closer, and you and Colby adore each other. That combination could make Liza uncomfortable. And I'd hate to see all the progress you've made with your sister destroyed because of an indiscretion. Oh, no, I'm sorry. No, no, no, no -- here. I -- I didn't mean to upset you. I just want to ensure that you remain a part of this family for years to come.
[Adam hugs Mia]
Liza: Mia? What's wrong?
Mia: I have to go.
Liza: You want to tell me what that was all about?

Trey: Kendall, I warned you that this could happen. Ryan let Bianca know that you suspect she started that fire, and he had no right to do that. How can you trust that he won't give you away a second time?
Kendall: No, Ryan would never do anything to hurt me.
Trey: The deed is done. Ryan is going to undermine all the hard work we've done to clear you of this. Love him all you want, but lean on me and me only. You've got to depend on me more than anyone else on this planet, n including Ryan Lavery.

Girl: Bianca, you got to spill. Is she your date for the senior prom?
Maggie: Excuse me, I would never go to the prom with her.

David: You just asked where do we go from here. Anna, I don't know what the next step should be. Do you?
Anna: I haven't the foggiest.
David: I am not going to let us do this again.

Trey: Can you do what I ask, Kendall? Can you trust me more than you trust Ryan?
Mia: Oh. You're busy, so I'll just come back.
Trey: No, no. Stay. Ms. Saunders and I have a little business to discuss. I'll call you later. Think about what I said.
Kendall: I -- I never had a chance to thank you for getting the bail money. So thanks. I was really on edge.
Mia: I can guess.

Trey: Speaking of money, where's mine?
Mia: Trey, try to understand. Liza secured the bail for Kendall. The cash is frozen. There's a lien on that account.
Trey: You're a smart girl, Mia. You can access the cash somehow. As long as my client doesn't skip bail, you can scrape up a measly 50 grand. And that should tide me over until the next payment.

Adam: Mia wouldn't tell me what was wrong. I found her crying and tried to comfort her.
Liza: Well, I'll call her later and find out what's wrong.
Adam: Yeah. You two off to work now?
Liza: Yes. Tad and I have back-to-back meetings, and I don't want to fight with you about it right now.
Adam: Nope, nope. You've always been your own boss. I won't fight with you now.
Tad: I'm going to go get the car before they find the pod.

Liza: So, you're really going to let it go, just like that?
Adam: Just like that. I've always learned to choose my battles carefully. And I don't want to fight with you ever again. Have a good first day back.

[PINE VALLEY AIRPORT]
Ticket agent: Here you go, Sir. Your plane leaves from gate five.
Leo: Thank you. Hey, what are you --
Greenlee: I couldn't let you leave without a real good-bye.
[Greenlee kisses Leo passionately]
Greenlee: You hurry back home to me.
Leo: I don't think I can go now.
Greenlee: You have to. For our future, for us.
Leo: Ok. Can I have one more -- one more --
Leo: I love you.
Greenlee I love you back. Come on, come on.

[Leo leaves and Greenlee dials her cell phone]
Greenlee: Hi. It's Greenlee. I need your help right now.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

David: What, are you angling for me to end this, is that it? Do you want me to ask for a divorce?

Bianca: If Frankie were here, I would have gone to the prom with her.
Maggie: You want to go to the prom with me?

Ryan: I'm in desperate need of your help right now.
Chris: You got it.
Ryan: I need you to help me with Kendall before I lose her for good.
