ALL MY CHILDREN

OCTOBER 23, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Adam: Why is my marriage destroyed? I'll tell you why -- because of Liza's disrespect! I deserve to be treated like a man!

Kendall: I'm just worse off having you around.
Trey: Well, maybe a couple million in diamonds might change your mind.

Edmund: Go out with me, tonight.
Maria: That would be great.

David: Greenlee's gone.

TODAY’S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[PV HOSPITAL]
Marian: Adam, what are you
Marian: Adam, what are you doing here?
Adam: Oh, just -- it's a board meeting, a meeting with a board member, last-minute thing. Why are you here?
Marian: I'm volunteering. Listen, I'm glad I ran into you.
Adam: Well, I'm not.
Marian: Would you like to have a cup of coffee?
Adam: With you? No.
Marian: Look, it's understandable that you're upset, Adam.
Adam: Is it really?
Marian: Yes, it is, but I want you to know that I am completely on your side.

[GREENLEE’S ROOM – PV HOSPITAL]
David: I'm telling you, I'm telling you she's gone. Greenlee's gone.
Anna: Well, she can't be.
David: She is.
Anna: Did you check the bathroom??
David: Yes, of course I checked the bathroom.
Anna: All right, her clothes are here. Maybe they took her for more tests.
David: No, no, there's nothing scheduled.
Anna: Maybe it was last minute, David.
David: Wait a minute -- Leo's jacket. Leo's jacket is gone, too.

[SOS – WITH A COUNTRY ‘LOOK’ FOR THE EVENING]
Maria: Can you give me some clue?
Edmund: What, and spoil the surprise?
Maria: Huh, let me guess -- I used to love surprises.
Edmund: I hope you like this one.
[Country music plays]
All: Howdy, partner!
Mateo: Yee-ha!
Maria: Howdy!
Edmund: Welcome to our first date.

[PV HOSPITAL – BY THE NURSES STATION]
Isabella: So many people have pledged donations that we can buy the playground equipment and still have enough left over for the fiesta for the children.
Woman: You've inspired all of us, Isabella.
Isabella: Thank you. Well, I was so joyful that I’d be able to help our church give back to the community.
Woman: You have so much to be joyful for. How is Maria?
Isabella: Oh, she's as beautiful as ever.
Woman: Does she remember --?
Isabella: Not yet, not yet. But I have faith in the God that returned Maria to us that He'll restore her memory.

[MILLER’S FALLS STATE PARK]
Kendall: Diamonds?
Trey: Shh! Keep it down.
Kendall: As in "a girl's best friend"?
Trey: Interested?
Kendall: Is this a trick to make me forget what a louse of a brother you are?
Trey: No, no, look, I got this from Greenlee herself. Apparently, Vanessa had a stash of diamonds worth a fortune behind the waterfall. When she tried to off Greenlee, Leo poured them over the waterfall.
Kendall: From the top?
Trey: Mm-hmm.
Kendall: Ok.
Trey: Whoa, no, no, where you going?
Kendall: I don't know about you, but I prefer my diamonds set in gold, not 20,000 leagues under the sea.
Trey: Oh, come on, Kendall. The diamonds are still there for the taking. The only people that know about it are you and me -- and Greenlee.
Kendall: Yeah, the only people who are alive. Trey, two people -- your brother and your mother -- took that plunge and died.
Trey: There's a pool at the bottom of the waterfall. I am almost positive that that's where the diamonds are.
Kendall: So go get them.
Trey: I can’t. I need you as a partner.
Kendall: Why?
Trey: Well, because you're the only person I can trust.
Kendall: Oh, you can do better than that.
Trey: Because you're my sister?
Kendall: Oh, come on, you were just ready to bail on me.
Trey: Well, consider this an apology. This is the opportunity of a lifetime.
Kendall: Level with me -- why in God's name would you even include me?
Trey: I told you.
Kendall: Yeah, I know, I know -- trust, family, yada, yada, yada. What's the real reason?
Trey: Because I can't swim.

David: I never should've left her alone.
Anna: She can't be far. She's so exhausted.
David: I was only gone a minute.
Guard: Chief Devane?
Anna: Yes, what have you got?
Guard: Nothing so far. Mrs. Du Pres is not on this floor, but I have my team searching the rest of the hospital and the grounds.
Anna: And the exits?
Guard: They're closed.
[Radio beeps]
Guard: Excuse me.
Anna: Yeah.

David: I never should've left her alone.
Anna: You had no way of knowing.

Anna: You have something?
Guard: I think so.
Anna: Yeah?
Guard: A woman's been spotted on the parking lot and she's wearing a man's jacket.
David: That's her. That's Greenlee.

Adam: You're on my side of what exactly?
Marian: Look; as much as we have been at odds in the past, I really want your marriage to work.
Adam: My marriage? Why are we having this discussion?
Marian: Because I think you need my help, Adam.
Adam: Oh, you've helped quite enough.
Marian: Look, no marriage can last without intimacy, and obviously your romantic dinner didn't turn out the way you hoped it would.
Adam: Liza told you this?
Marian: No, Stuart told me you planned a very, very lovely, private evening.
Adam: And Liza supplied the details?
Marian: She didn't have to, Adam. You're here, you're not with her, you are very edgy, and you're hardly the picture of a man basking in the afterglow.
Adam: My afterglow is none of your damn business.
Marian: No, but Liza is my business, all right? You hurt her, Adam. She's going to need time to heal, all right?
Adam: Well, don't waste too much time feeling sorry for Liza. I tried to get through to her, I really tried, and she shut me down.
Marian: Well, one romantic dinner can't win her back. Look, maybe if you did something else, planned --
Adam: No! No more opinions, no more conversation, no more nothing. Not a word out of you! Ever since your cabal divided my house in two, split my house in two, I’ve lost control of my family.
Marian: Love isn't about control, Adam.
Adam: Well, you'd better tell that to my wife. Because of your blasted, demented meddling, Liza's making all the rules now. Well, I'm not going to play by her rules forever.

Guard: She's probably left the premises by now.
David: I just checked the whole parking lot. She's nowhere to be found.
Anna: We know, David.
David: What is with you people? Do you usually let patients waltz out of here dressed in hospital gowns?
Anna: Thank you.
David: For crying out loud.
Anna: David, let's just stay focused on Greenlee. I've put out an APB. We will find her.
David: We've got to find her, ok, because she's in no condition to be wandering around by herself. I mean, who knows where she could've gone to.
Anna: If it were me, I'd want to go home. I'll send a patrol car.
David: No, no, let me do that. I don't want to scare her.

[Country music plays]
Maria: This is great. I love this.
Edmund: Well, it was actually Mateo’s doing.
Mateo: [Southern accent] So, you-all having a good time?
Maria: Yes, definitely!
Edmund: Well, I convinced him to turn SOS into something a little country-western.
Mateo: So I did it up just right, did I?
Maria: Yes, you did. You guys were so sweet and this was really thoughtful of you two.
Edmund: Well --
Maria: Thank you.
Edmund: Thank you. Sure you're not being pushed into something that you don't want to do?
Maria: No, you haven't pushed me so far.
Edmund: All right. Is that an invitation?
Maria: Don't you want to dance?
Edmund: I would love to dance with you.
Maria: [Southern accent] well, then let's see how I do.

Brooke: Excuse me, Isabella. Could I speak to you for a moment?
Isabella: Lisa, are you free to go over the pledges tomorrow?
Lisa: Yes, I’ll call you.
Isabella: Thanks.

Brooke: I wanted to call you, but this is better.
Isabella: What is it, Brooke?
Brooke: The papers came this morning. My marriage to Edmund is officially annulled.
Isabella: Gracias a dios. I know this wasn't easy for you.
Brooke: Well, I just wanted you to know.
Isabella: You have courage, Brooke. It would've been easier to say nothing to me tonight. But telling me in person -- not many people could've done that.
Brooke: Not many people would've done what I did to you and your family. I just hope one day you'll be able to forgive me.
Isabella: I have the same hope, and my church believes in forgiveness, but that day isn't here yet.
Brooke: I don't know if I’d ever forgive someone who kept a child away from me. I hope you know how sorry I am.
Isabella: I can see it. And I want you to know I appreciate, I appreciate your concern about my grandchildren.
Brooke: Well, Sam and Maddie shouldn't suffer because of my mistakes.
Isabella: They'll heal, and now the healing will be easier. With the annulment, there won't be any more confusion about who their real mother is.
Brooke: They have a wonderful mother.
Isabella: And a loving family that can have a fresh start now; now that in the eyes of the church, your marriage to Edmund never happened.

[Kendall is wearing a wet suit]
Kendall: The hero
Kendall: The hero at Miller's Falls cannot swim? Everybody can swim.
Trey: Well, maybe in Florida, but not everybody grew up with a luxury pool or swimming lessons in the ocean.
Kendall: Well, when you saved Greenlee, either you were really brave or really stupid.
Trey: Try smart. Greenlee's safe and I'm about to come into my inheritance.
Kendall: Man, you are some kind of a freak. Your mother and your brother just died, and you're all about cashing in.
Trey: Look, Vanessa owes me, all right, and now she's going to pay.
Kendall: But you cared for Leo.
Trey: I don't want to talk about him.
Kendall: No, Trey, it's ok to grieve for him.
Trey: I'd rather be rich than sad, wouldn't you?
Kendall: How rich?
Trey: Does that mean you're in?
Kendall: Ok. What do you want me to do?
Trey: Well, here, this will help.
Kendall: I ought to knock you over the head with this.
Trey: Uh-uh-uh. Think diamonds.
Kendall: No, get it off of me! I am totally claustrophobic.
Trey: Look, you don't have to wear it for that long, just until we find the diamonds.
Kendall: "We"? There's only one of us wearing a freaking wet suit.
Trey: You know, you've got this kind of Bond girl thing going on.
Kendall: Zip it, Trey. I don't want to hear it. God, I cannot believe I let you talk me into this.
Trey: Hmm, talked you into what, becoming a millionaire?
Kendall: Yeah, if I don't drown.
Trey: Look, the sooner you're in the water, the quicker we'll be rich, so let's go, hmm? You ready?
Kendall: No, no. No, it's too dark in there! What's wrong with waiting until morning?
Trey: Oh, so you can become diving buddies with the cops?
Kendall: It would be a lot easier if we had light or something.
Trey: You want the luxury life, hmm? It's now or never. Come on, what, you afraid of the dark?
Kendall: Like you're not afraid of the water?
Trey: Look, I'm not afraid, ok? I'm a little -- under trained.
Kendall: Oh, "under trained."
Trey: Come on. You can do this.
Kendall: No, you know what, just don't go near me. Tell me, where is this million carat inheritance?
Trey: I'm not exactly sure.
Kendall: What? What do you mean you're not sure? You told me it was in that pool over there.
Trey: Well, yeah, I think so.
Kendall: What --
Trey: Well, Leo was just standing way up there when he dropped them.
Kendall: That -- that's a gazillion feet up in the air. They could be anywhere. I said I could swim, not live underwater. We need a plan.
Trey: We have a plan -- you go in the water and you swim around and you find them.
Kendall: No. I have an idea -- you climb up to where Leo was, you drop some stones, and I'll dive into the part -- I'll dive into the spot where they landed.
Trey: Hmm -- bad idea.
Kendall: Oh, like you have a better one? Go, now.
Trey: No, I can’t. I can't.
Kendall: What do you mean you can't?
Trey: I can’t. I --
Kendall: What, what?

Trey I have vertigo, ok? Kendall: Vertigo-- is there nothing -- I mean, what are you not afraid of?
Trey: Money, all right? So it's time to go. Come on, in the water. Let's go.
Kendall: No, no, let go. Not until you do your part. Look, you climbed up those rocks to save Greenlee's life. The least you could do is help me out.
Trey: That was different.
Kendall: No, I don't want to hear it, I don't want to hear it. Either you go up there or I’m not going down there. So, what's it going to be, cowboy? Huh?

[Country music plays]
Music stops]
Maria: Oh. You can dance, mister!
Edmund: Well, you know, I learned from you.
Maria: Oh.
Edmund: A little rusty.
Maria: Well, I can help. No broken toes, we're ok.

Mateo: Looking good, you two.
Edmund: Oh, Maureen tears up the floor.
Maria: Oh, thank you.
Mateo: Just like old days, huh?
Edmund: Old days and new ones.
Mateo: So you guys want a cold beer to cool off?
Edmund: Yeah, actually, I'll have -- I'm sorry, what would you like?
Maria: Yeah, I will please have a beer, cold and Mexican with a lime. Thank you.
Edmund: Make it two.
Mateo: [Southern accent] I'll be right back, little lady.

Maria: Oh, you've got that look.
Edmund: What look?
Maria: That -- that look of "I used to order a beer between two-steps" look.
Edmund: Cold and Mexican. Bless you.
Maria: And?
Edmund: And you look like you haven't forgotten a single step.
Maria: Your hope is showing.
Edmund: And yours?
Maria: I want to remember, Edmund, I really do. It's just that, you know, in Nevada, everybody orders Cerveza and dances the two-step. So I don't -- are you disappointed?
Edmund: How could I be? I'm here, dancing with you. It's as close as heaven as I’m going to get.

[THE VALLEY INN BAR]
Brooke: I am officially annulled.
Tad: You're also free to go on.
Brooke: To what?
Tad: You could do what I’ve done -- bury yourself in work. Speaking of which, how's your research on Maria’s memory loss going, hmm? Any breakthroughs? Don't tell me -- you forgot. Stop. I'm killing me.
Brooke: Miss?
Waitress: Yes?
Brooke: Could I have another?
Waitress: Certainly.
Tad: What is wrong with you? You used to love my jokes, especially the bad ones. A guy could get hurt.
Brooke: I don't need a babysitter, Tad.
Tad: Well, good, because I'm not interviewing for the job.
Brooke: Well, why are you here? Why aren't you home with Jamie? Isn't this his night to be with you?
Tad: Yes, it is, but this evening our son had other plans.
Brooke: He did?
Tad: Mm-hmm. He's having dinner with a friend at the hospital.
Brooke: At the hospital?
Tad: Mm-hmm. She's a candy striper. You got to love those outfits.
Brooke: "She"? I hadn't heard about any she from him.
Tad: Yeah, well, he's growing up pretty quick.
Brooke: Hmm. Thank you.
Waitress: Sure. A refill for you?
Tad: Like you read about. You like older guys?
Waitress: Excuse me.
[The waitress walks away]
Tad: I have a credit card. Not my type.
Brooke: So, isn't Jamie probably waiting for you?
Tad: Nope. As a matter of fact, I have explicit instructions not to pick him up for another 27 minutes.
Brooke: Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with being early.
Tad: It's a five-minute ride.
Brooke: So drive slowly.
Tad: Was that a shot? That was a shot. You don't want me around? Fine, ok? But if you need anything, you know where I am.
Brooke: I don’t.
Tad: Ok. Just, you know, take it easy, all right? I'm one phone call away and --
Brooke: Mm-hmm.
Tad: Don't stay out too late.

[LEO AND GREENLEE’S LOFT]
[Knock on door]
[Key turns in lock]
[Door opens]
David: Greenlee? It's David. Greenlee, are you here? Are you ok?
David: Greenlee? I just want to help you.
David: Leo. Oh, my God. How could this have happened?

Tad: Adam? What are you doing here? Liza's not sick again, is she?
Adam: Relax. Liza's just dandy.
Tad: There's nothing wrong with her?
Adam: Well, I wouldn't say that.
Tad: Well, neither would I. She is married to you, after all.
Adam: Can it, Martin.
Tad: Well, your history does give cause for concern. But judging from that pinched look around your eyes, I’d say that that new separate-wing living arrangement isn't exactly working out for you.
Adam: My living arrangements suit me just fine.
Tad: Oh, you'll get no argument from me, but, you know, where you're concerned, there is one glaring problem.
Adam: Yeah, well, I'm not interested in your analysis, Martin.
Tad: Logistics?
Adam: I'm not interested.
Tad: Oh, come on now, it is rather humorous. You got to admit it --
Adam: My personal life is none of your damn business.
Tad: With Liza on one side of that do-it-yourself Berlin Wall, it kind of puts the kibosh on spontaneity, doesn't it? You know, no little bump in the night, no little quick game of "Saturday Night Fever."
Adam: You are really out of line. You're way out of line.
Tad: And you can't cross over it. Matter of fact, according to Liza, you'd stand a better chance of breaking into Fort Knox than getting into her bedroom.
Adam: First I get Marian and now I get you. Has Liza started some sort of newsletter?
Tad: Why don't you calm down? The fact is that after everything you've ever pulled, you should be grateful she agreed to stay in that house at all.
Adam: I thank my lucky stars every night.
Tad: Not much else to do, is there?
Adam: Go away.
Tad: I mean it, Adam. Because if it were up to me, she would have moved out of your mansion completely.
Adam: Why's that, Martin? Is that because misery loves company?

Maria: You know, it's funny; this place reminds me a lot of the clubs back in Nevada. There's this one in particular.
Edmund: Tell me about it.
Maria: You sure? I don't want to bore you with a story.
Edmund: Do I look bored? You have a captive audience.
Maria: Well, ok. You know, I mostly stayed in these really small towns where everybody worked really hard during the week, and then on the weekends they were like, whoo-hoo!
Edmund: Ready to party?
Maria: Yeah, hard. And there was no malls to cruise or big-screen theaters, so everybody just -- you know, these towns, some of them had more bars than they had gas stations. Sure you want to hear this?
Edmund: What? Tell me the story. Now, go on.
Maria: Ok. Well, there was this one place called Lili's. It was great. It was really actually a total dive.
Edmund: I've had some of my best times in dives.
Maria: You, too?
Edmund: Mm-hmm.
Maria: Well --
Edmund: So this place have music?
Maria: Yeah. Oh, and, you know, that and a really great vibe. It just -- it was 100 years old, it started out as a brothel, and Lili, evidently, as legend has it, entertained Billy the Kid, and so the locals all believed that on moonless nights their ghosts still danced the two-step.
Edmund: Outlaws and scarlet women. Maybe that's how the west was won. You miss Nevada?
Maria: Not at the moment.

Kendall: Trey! Over here! Come on! Get a move on!
[Splash]
Kendall: I got it! Got it!
Trey: Now go get them! Just -- go get them!
Kendall: I should have my head examined!
[Splash]

[Phone rings]
David: Anna?
Anna: Is Greenlee there?
David: No, no, nobody's here. Nothing. You haven't found her?
Anna: Yeah, we searched the hospital from top to bottom. Nothing.
David: That doesn't make sense. Where the hell could she be?
Anna: We'll find her. I have the entire department on alert. We're checking with friends and family, anyone who might have an idea where she is.
David: We shouldn't have to be looking for Greenlee. She should be in Paris right now with Leo.
Anna: David --
[Phone disconnects]
[David remembers]
David’s voice: All right, guys, you have to go.
Leo: David, I owe you.
David: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just get on that plane.
Leo: I mean it. I owe you forever. I have something I need to tell you. I can't go to Paris, not now.
Greenlee: What did you say?
Leo: David's in a mess, Greenlee, and I can't leave Pine Valley right now.
David: You're going to steal the evidence for me? Leo, you've just been cleared of all charges.
Leo: It's easier for me than it is for you, all right?
David: No, your -- your legal problems are over. You're free and clear. I can't --
Leo: This has to be done, it has to be done. It's just a bag of evidence, right, on her desk?
David: Just promise me, promise me that you'll get the hell out of this town and away from me and you'll start building your future with Greenlee.
Leo: You're my future, too, ok, and I’m not going to stop helping you until I know you're out of this.
David: No. No. Listen to me, I had my chance, ok, and I've lost the only life that I ever dreamed of with Anna. Don't lose yours, Leo.
Leo: I won't, I promise.

David: Why didn't you just listen to me, Leo? The one time I got it right. The one time. Why couldn't you just listen?

Trey: Kendall! Kendall! Damn it, she's been down there too long! Kendall!
Kendall: Miss me?
Trey: Do not scare me like that!
Kendall: Doesn't take much, does it?
Trey: Did you find the diamonds?
Kendall: Hold on a second. I am freezing my butt off. Brrrrr.
Trey: All right, where are they?
Kendall: You have no idea how disgusting it is down there.
Trey: Did you find them?
Kendall: It is impossible to find anything down there.
Trey: Damn it! I was positive that they were down there.
Kendall: Well, you were wrong. And cheap. You couldn't spring for a full tank of air? I had to run out and beach myself on the other side.
Trey: Whatever. Let's go home.
Kendall: Wait a minute; don't you want to see what I found on my way back? Hanging on a ledge.
Trey: Great. What is it? You got yourself a souvenir. Big deal.
[Kendall holds up the bag of diamonds]
Trey: The diamonds!
Kendall: Don't say I never came through for you.
Trey: Where are the rest?
Kendall: What happened to "thank you"?
Trey: Kendall, there were over $5 million of diamonds in that bag at least. Where are the rest?
Kendall: They're in the ocean by now for all I care.
Trey: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. You didn't tuck any away?
Kendall: Trey, I found the diamonds! They're worth, like, a million dollars and I'm giving you half!
Trey: You're giving me? It was my plan!
Kendall: It was my butt in the water!
Trey: I brought you in on this thing!
Kendall: I found the diamonds! If you think there's more, you dive in there and get them yourself!
Trey: You found the diamonds. You found the diamonds!
Kendall: Yes, I found them! Yes, I found them!
Trey: Do you have any idea what this means?
Kendall: It means that we are stinking, filthy, poopy rich!
Trey: Yes! Oh!
Kendall: We are rich!
Trey: Whoo!

Tad: There's a lot of people in this town that would sell their soul for a second chance at what you got. Greenlee Smythe, for one, isn't even out of her wedding dress yet, and you're running around whining because, at present, your only problem is that Liza’s not putting out.
Adam: I'm trying to salvage my marriage.
Tad: Really? After you tried to cart your wife off to the nut house?
Adam: I regret that.
Tad: Oh, well, I am so happy to hear it. But you're not going to get any sympathy from me.
Adam: I'd settle for you staying out of my life.
Tad: Not as long as you are married to Liza.
Adam: I can't decide whether you want to be Liza’s bodyguard or her lap dog.
Tad: Neither. I'm just her friend.
Adam: You're part of the problem.
Tad: Oh, no, you don’t. That is so like you. You screw up and try to blame it on somebody else. Well, guess what, pal, this is all about you, all about what you did. You torched your wife's trust, you blew up your marriage, and you are finally getting exactly what you deserve.

[Romantic music plays]
Edmund: You want to dance?
Maria: Uh -- maybe a little bit, but right now it's just perfect, just sitting with you. So you have to tell me, how does this night compare to our first date?
Edmund: Better.
Maria: How do you mean?
Edmund: Well, I can dance.
[Maria laughs]
Edmund: And there's no pool table here. You killed me last time.
Maria: So I was a neurologist and a pool shark?
Edmund: Mm-hmm. Beauty, brains, and a dead-on shot. You were a lethal combination. Yeah. Still are.
Maria: Thank you. Thanks for everything. Really, this is -- just I haven't had this good a time in a very long time.
Edmund: That was the plan -- just you and me and a good time.
Maria: Well, it worked. Congratulations.

Anna: David. David, hi.
David: Hey. Did you find Greenlee?
Anna: No. No, we've been to her office and grandparents', a couple of friends', but nothing.
David: What -- the boathouse! What about the boathouse? They got married there recently. They were happy, remember?
Anna: Yeah, we checked there. There's no sign she's been there. We will find her. I've got everything covered -- the taxis, car rentals, the airport. She'll turn up. It's fine. Don't worry, please.
David: This is all my fault.
Anna: It's not your fault. We've been over this.
David: If it weren't for me, Leo and Greenlee would be in Paris right now, enjoying their new life together.
Anna: You are not responsible for your brother's death. Vanessa is.
David: No. Leo stayed because of me.
Anna: David, please don't do this to yourself, please.
David: And Greenlee is out there right now and we don't know where she is, and if something happens to her -- Anna, we've got to find her. We've got to find her. I can't lose somebody else. I can’t.

Maria: Will you excuse me a moment?
Edmund: Sure, I'll save your spot.
Maria: Thank you.

Mateo: So? How's it going with Maria?
Edmund: She dances like a dream.
Mateo: Well, does she remember anything?
Edmund: Nope.
Mateo: Damn. You know, I thought this was going to remind her of what it used to be like. What are you so happy about?
Edmund: Maria's on her way back to us.
Mateo: Well, I thought you said she didn't remember anything.
Edmund: Her heart does.
Mateo: How do you know?
Edmund: I can feel it.

Maria: Hey.

Adam: A martini, extra dry, two olives. Yes?
Woman: You're Adam Chandler, aren't you?
Adam: Do I know you?
Woman: Not yet. I'm Sheri. Hi.
Adam: You're new.
Sheri: Yes, I just unpacked my bags. Do you happen to know any tips on Pine Valley hot spots?
Adam: Oh, I know a few. What time you get off?
Sheri: Not soon enough.

Anna: Yeah, keep me posted, ok? Thank you.

David: Anything?
Anna: No, not yet.
David: When?
Anna: Well, we'll hear something soon.
David: Oh, this is ridiculous! You've got a whole police force at your disposal! You've got them on foot, in cars, in helicopters, for crying out loud! I mean, how difficult can it be to find one woman wandering around in a hospital gown and a tattered jacket? I'm sorry, ok? I know you're doing everything you can.
Anna: I don't want anything to happen to her, either.
David: Oh, man. Leo and Greenlee were married for such a short time, but this place is just filled with them, their memories. I remember when my father died, when he killed himself.
Anna: Don't -- don't, David, please.
David: Vanessa couldn't wait to get us out of that house. She said that memories would just keep us from living. She set us up at a house on the other side of town, without even a picture of my father to remember him. And I would take my bike there every chance I got just to take a look at that house and just -- just stare at it.
Anna: Well, yeah, because it was your last connection to your father. I mean --
David: Anna.
Anna: What?
David: I know where Greenlee is.
Anna: Where is she?
David: My God, I've got to get to her.
