ALL MY CHILDREN

SEPTEMBER 13, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Adam: You made me believe that my son was lying dead along the side of the highway somewhere.
Liza: I didn't cut the brake lines to my own car.

Opal: You used to be one of the best doctors this place has ever seen.

David: Is there something going on with Anna that I don't know about?

Anna: I think to hell with David. I'm going to have this baby.

TODAY’S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Adam: J.R.., you grew again while I was gone.
J.R..: What's up?
Adam: Mia. That's a new hairdo. Very, very becoming.
Mia: Thank you.
Adam: Liza. Miss me?
Liza: Like the plague. Where's Colby?
Adam: Colby? She's around here someplace --
Liza: Adam, where is my daughter?
Colby: Here I am, Mommy!
Liza: My baby.

David: Anna, are you seriously advising me to jump bail? Skip town?
Anna: Yeah. I'm telling you to run.
David: Why are you?
Anna: Temporary insanity, all right? If you get out of town by tonight, I won't come after you.
David: You were ready to form a lynching party, hang me from the nearest tree, and now you're offering me a chance to escape? Why the sudden change of heart?
Anna: I don't have time for explanations, David.
David: I'm not leaving till I get one. Why are you so hell-bent on getting me out of town?

Tad: David convinced Maria that -- that she killed somebody?
Aidan: Mm-hmm. That's why she's kept herself hidden all these years -- all because of a stupid lie.
Tad: Are you sure of this?
Aidan: Well, Maria never outright said that it was David, but somebody's gone and put it into her head that she committed murder. And with David controlling every move that she made, I can't think of who else it would be.
Tad: Well, it certainly fits his profile. I just have to confirm it with Maria.
Aidan: And then what?
Tad: Then we're going to put the screws to David and turn them till he bleeds.

Maria: You're saying that I was a doctor?
Opal: Yeah, you were a neur-- oh, darn it -- neurologist. You know? I mean, a patient -- their switchboard went down, you were the one to fix it.
Maria: No, no, that can't be.
Opal: Yeah --
Maria: No, that's not true.
Opal: Yeah, it is.
Maria: No, no, no, no, no, it's not true. You are mistaken!
Opal: Ask -- it's nothing to be ashamed of.
Maria: No, just -- just shut up. Please, just go away from me! Leave me alone!
Opal: I'm sorry if I said anything --
Maria: You don't know what you're talking about.
Edmund: Maria, what's wrong? Maria: Get her away from me.
Maria: Make her stop.
Opal: I'm sorry.
Maria: Make her stop.
Opal: I don't know what I said to set her off. I --
Edmund: Ok, Maria, what happened?
Maria: Just make this lady leave me alone.
Mateo: Maria --
Maria: Get her away from me.
Mateo: Maria -- Maria, this is Opal. She's an old friend.
Maria: No, this is not a friend of mine!
Opal: I'm sorry. I promise, I did not mean to upset her.
Maria: No, she was telling me all these crazy things. She was telling me that I was a doctor and that I worked here, and, I mean --

Tad: Excuse me. I'm sorry. What's going on?
Maria: This is just --
Aidan: Maria, are you all right?
Opal: It's all my fault. I had to go open my big yap.
Tad: What did you say to her?
Opal: I don't -- something I wasn't supposed to, I guess.
Edmund: It's ok, Opal.
Opal: I don't know exactly what it was.
Tad: It's ok. It's ok, Mom. I'm sure you didn't mean it.
Opal: I just told her that she was a doctor and that, you know, we had all missed her here, that's all.

Maria: Wait a minute. Are you -- so this is true? Oh, my God -- Edmund, you didn't tell me that I was a doctor?
Edmund: Maria, Jake martin thought it was a lot to process, and so we didn't want to, you know, overload you with too much information.
Maria: "Too much information"? Oh -- so what other big, whopping parts of my life do I not know about?
Aidan: It's all right.
Maria: No, it's not all -- this is not all right! You people, leave me alone. Ok? You people, just leave me the hell alone.
Edmund: Maria --

Liza: I'm so glad to see you. Are you glad to be home?
Colby: Uh-huh. I wish you could have come with us, but daddy said you had to work.
Liza: Well, I always want to be with you. I mean, you know that, right? I always do. And I wanted to call you.
Colby: Daddy said you were too busy.
Liza: Well, to be honest, this was your special time with daddy and with uncle Stuart. But every night when I laid my head down to go to sleep, I made a wish on our special star and I wished that you would come home to me.
Mia: Colby, do you know who else missed you?
Colby: You.
Mia: We cried big turtle tears while you were gone.
Colby: I brought them some flies.
Mia: Ooh. You know what? I think I'll go down to the gatehouse and I’ll bring them back here, and then you can give this to them.
Colby: But don't tell them. I want it to be a surprise.
Mia: No, my lips are zipped. I missed you.
Liza: Hmm, somebody's sleepy.
Adam: We were up with the roosters this morning.
Liza: Well, how about this -- how about if I tuck you in your bed as snug as a bug? What do you think about that?
Adam: Love you, Angel.
J.R..: I will catch you later, bug breath.
[Colby laughs]
J.R..: Funny.

Liza: So, you really had fun?
Colby: Uh-huh. I catched a catfish.
Liza: Really?
Colby: Uh-huh. I named him Albert.

Adam: Anything interesting happen around here while I was gone?
J.R..: Dad, you won't believe what's been going on around here.
Adam: Oh, yeah? Then you better fill me in.
J.R..: Liza's up to something nasty with David Hayward.

Anna: You know, this is so typical. I am giving you a shot at freedom, to go off and pursue your career anywhere in the world, but you would rather stay here and risk prison. For what reason? What, to prove finally that I am a fool?
David: You're nobody's fool, Anna.
Anna: Ok. So, then, what? I'm giving you a chance --
David: A chance at what? A five-minute head start and then you sic the hounds on me?
Anna: I'm not going to do that, no.
David: You know what this reminds me of? When we first got together. Each of us trying to one-up the other.
Anna: Why are you bringing that up?
David: Nostalgia. So, is that what this is, Anna? Hmm? The good old days -- you trying to set me up, urging me to escape so that you can call out the feds and add bail jumping to my list of crimes and misdemeanors?
Anna: Careful, David. Your paranoia is showing.
David: Well, you already said you hated me. Why shouldn't I watch my back?
Anna: I don't hate you. I hate myself because I don’t.
David: So you've had a change of heart?
Anna: Oh, God, I tried to harden my heart against you. I thought I had succeeded, too, but --
David: What, Anna?
Anna: Maria's doctors -- they told me that she had suffered potentially fatal injuries after the crash but that she survived and she hadn't even gone to a hospital.
David: That's exactly what I’ve been saying, Anna.
Anna: Yeah. I'm sorry I didn't believe that part of your story. She did survive solely because of you.
David: Anna, if you believe that, then I don't have to go. We can work through this.
Anna: No. No, really, we can't. No. Because it doesn't make up for the fact that you kept her away from her husband and children. I just -- I can't understand that, and I just really can't get past it.
David: So you just want me to take off? Disappear without a trace? Is that it?
Anna: There's one condition.
David: Of course there is.
Anna: Ok, I am giving you your freedom in exchange for mine. Sign this.
David: What is it?
Anna: You know what it is. Just sign it. I want an uncontested divorce.

Simone: Oh, excuse me.
Nurse: Yeah. May I help you?
Simone: Yes. I'm here to pick up a prescription for my landlady, Myrtle Fargate.
Nurse: Ok, just one moment. I'll go check.
Simone: Ok, thanks.

Simone: Frank. I didn't know that you were on duty.
Frank: I'm doing rotation in the meds dispensary.
Simone: Oh.
Frank: Karen told me that you're here to pick up a script for myrtle.
Simone: Right.
Frank: That's weird because she asked me to run it back by the boarding house.
Simone: Well, maybe she got her wires, you know, mixed up.
Frank: Myrtle? Tell your weight within an ounce? Tell you the future of the world in the palm of your hand? I don't think so. I think that old Carny Queen set us up.
Simone: Because?
Frank: Because she's tired of you hiding out on me.
Simone: Oh.

J.R..: So I walk in, and Liza and Hayward freeze like they're deer caught in the headlights, right? Like I caught them in the act or they were doing something.
Adam: In the act of doing what, exactly?
J.R..: Dad, do I have to draw you a picture?
Adam: No. J.R.., Liza made a terrible mistake when she got Chandler Enterprises involved with David Hayward.
J.R..: Dad, this is more than business. Why else wouldn't she want me telling you?
Adam: Indeed. You were right to tell me about this. Anything else I should know?
J.R..: I don't want Hayward around me or Colby.
Adam: Yeah, no problem. Whatever Liza and David are planning, they're not going to touch our family.

Liza: Well, J.R.., you didn't waste any time ratting out your wicked stepmother.
J.R..: Yeah, well, I'm not the only fast mover around here, Liza.
Liza: Oh, wonderful. Now that you've done your bad deed for the day, please feel free to go. Adam and I have some catching up to do.
J.R..: It's good to have you home, Dad.

Adam: Well, it's nice to know somebody's happy to see me.
Liza: Yeah, well, what do you expect? Red carpet? You want me pacing the widow's walk, waiting for my fisherman husband to return from the sea?
Adam: How's Colby?
Liza: Fine. She went to sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. It's just you and me now.

Anna: This copy's for you. Here. The arrangement's fair. If anything, it's slanted in your favor. I make no claim against property or alimony. All I'm really asking for is my release.
David: For heaven's sakes, Anna, you make it sound like you'd be getting out of jail.
Anna: I'm even paying for my flight offshore just to get this through quickly, so there's nothing you need to do, David, except sign. Come on. It's not such a long time ago that you wanted to divorce me because you saw all the flak I was getting from Jackson by being with you, so I'm just taking you up on your offer.
David: So tell me something -- is your new best friend Jackson -- is he the one that wrote this up for you? Hmm?
Anna: Matter of expedience.
David: You just can't wait to get rid of me, can you?
Anna: If you go underground, it'll be practically impossible for me to get a divorce. This way it's all settled. I can get my life back, and you can move on to your next easy target.
David: Oh, come on! You don't honestly believe that that's all it was between us, do you?
Anna: I don't want to get into it.
David: Well, I do, damn it! Look, I'm not about to just throw our marriage away for your bloody convenience, all right?
Anna: What about all the things I did for your convenience? I married you to keep you out of jail, and now I’m releasing you for the same reason. So stop fighting a battle that is already lost, David, and sign the damn papers!
David: Anna!
Anna: No --

Maria: Dr. Maria Grey. Doctor. Doctor. That's just not me. It's not me. Doesn't feel right. It's just not me.
Edmund: Maria -- thank God.
Maria: Oh, yeah, well, you thank God because I'm fresh out of gratitude.
Edmund: Maria, look at me. I'm -- I’m sorry, ok? It was stupid. You were in the hospital. You were bound to find out.
Maria: This whole time -- this whole time this Maureen Gorman who was just a medical assistant -- she was Maria Grey, M.D.?
Edmund: Look, just -- I was just -- I thought I was doing what was best.
Maria: Oh, you thought you were doing what was best? Really? What about talking to me about it? You just treated me like I’m some sort of invalid.
Edmund: No, I -- that's not what I did.
Maria: Yes, it is what you did.
Edmund: You're my wife. I just want to take care of you.
Maria: No, I'm not. Your wife died in a plane crash five years ago.
Edmund: The Maria that I loved isn't gone.
Maria: Well, with that old Maria, did you treat her like a child, too? Did you edit out all the bad parts and censor what you told her?
Edmund: She wouldn't have stood for that.
Maria: I thought so. Neither will I.
Edmund: Ok, fair enough. Jake Martin didn't want to rush your recovery. That's why nobody told you you had practiced medicine.
Maria: And now that -- now that I know, I still don't remember. I don't remember med school, premed, interning, nothing. The only thing that I remember is that my favorite color is purple. But was it always purple? I don't know, because my memory only goes back for five years. This whole time, my only lifeline has really been children.
Edmund: That's it. That's -- that's -- that's -- kids have always been the largest part of your soul.
Maria: Every time I moved, I would try to get a job with kids. I would, you know, always try to get a job in a hospital, usually in a pediatrics ward, you know, because that felt safe to me. It felt comfortable.
Edmund: You lived for Sam and Maddie.
Maria: I would always fall in love with the kids, all the kids on the entire ward. But then when I would get too close, I would always feel like I had to pull back. Something inside me made me pull back.
Edmund: Because they weren't yours.
Maria: No, because -- because it hurt. And now it makes sense. It didn't make sense before. I didn't understand it. But now it makes sense because the mother in me wanted to help them, the doctor in me wanted to fix it all and make it better, and --
Edmund: And I'm sure you did.
Maria: I gave hugs, and I told stories, and I held hands, and I did all that. I mean, none of that was enough. They all wanted their mothers. And when their mothers got there, then I would just excuse myself.
Edmund: What about when the doctors came?
Maria: When the doctors came, I just had to get out of the way. I never wanted to. I -- you know what? I always felt like I could help, but I just didn't know how.
Edmund: No, you did. You just couldn't remember it.
Maria: But it didn't matter because I couldn't help. I had to stand by and watch all these poor parents suffer.
Edmund: I'm sure you did the best you could.
Maria: No, I didn't do enough. I couldn't. These kids weren't my patients. I couldn't do anything for them.
Edmund: You did something good. I'm sure you did.
Maria: I don't know. I wonder. I wonder. Was it -- I wonder if it was better before I knew that I was a mother and a wife and a doctor.
Edmund: Maria, you came back for a reason. You survived for a reason.
Maria: Oh, really? What's the reason? What good is it if I don't know what that reason is?
Edmund: I don't know, but it's going to take time.
Maria: Time for -- what, my life is just going to come flooding right back to me, Edmund, with open arms?
Edmund: It will, it will. If you want it, it's waiting.
Maria: No, you understand, I want -- part of me really wants what you want, Edmund. I wish I could look at you with all the same relief and joy, but it's not happening for me. That's what you don't understand!
Edmund: I can take you back.
Maria: You can take me back to what? You can take me on some little trip down memory lane of this fairy-tale life that was snatched away from me?
Edmund: No --
Maria: And you can promise me that I can have all this? "Look, it's all laying right out there for you to take." But what you don't understand is that my head and my heart are not reaching out to grab that. Because part of me, Edmund -- God forgive me for saying this -- but part of me really wishes that I had never come back.

David: Come here, come here. Sit, sit.
Anna: I'm fine.
David: Come sit over here. No, you're not fine. You're pale. Look at you.
Anna: It's nothing, it's nothing.
David: Let me take your pulse.
Anna: Please don't hover over me.
David: All right, well, then let me call Joe Martin, ok?
Anna: I don't need a doctor.
David: Anna, please listen to me. I know you're upset with me right now, but I care about you, all right? And a strong, healthy woman just doesn't nearly collapse for no reason.
Anna: You want to know the reason? The real reason? It's you. You're making me sick. Thanks to you, I don't eat, I don't sleep. I've been 24/7 trying to build a case against my husband just to prove to this entire stupid town that I don't exist solely to cover up your crimes.
David: Anna --
Anna: Oh, God, you are tearing my life apart, David. You know, if you mean what you say, if you really do care, then prove it. Just give me some peace. Sign these papers. Please, please, get out of my life, David!
Please. Sign them.
David: What you're asking me to do --
Anna: Yeah, it's just non-negotiable. I'm not giving you a choice. You sign these, get out of town, or you go to jail. Those are your options.
David: That's what you wanted. I hope it makes you happy.

Simone: Frank, I am not holding out on you.
Frank: Really?
Simone: Really. Look, it has nothing to do with you, all right? It has -- it's how we met.
Frank: What's wrong with how we met?
Simone: Oh, please. You're serious? You pumped my stomach, all right? I mean, I hardly call that a great first impression.
Frank: Simone, Simone, you know, first impressions are like first dates. They can fool you.
Simone: Hmm.
Frank: So I always like to take a second look before I make up my mind about someone.
Simone: Really? Well, look away. What do you see?
Frank: I see a beautiful, smart, sassy woman of mystery.
Simone: Oh, yeah, right. Yeah, that's me.
Frank: All right, look, you asked for my perception.
Simone: All right, so I'll give it to you. Maybe there's something to be said for a second look.
Frank: You try me.
Simone: All right, Dr. Hubbard. No. You know what? It's just not working. I see exactly the same thing that I saw when I first met you.
Frank: Which is what?
Simone: That I could squish your head.
Frank: I'll take it. What are you doing tonight?
Simone: Well, what did you have in mind?
Frank: We could just hang out.
Simone: There's this sci-fi festival at the criterion. I've been dying to go.
Frank: I've been dying to go.
Simone: You have not.
Frank: I have!
Simone: Ok, then. I'll check out the times, and I'll page you, Dr. Hubbard.

Liza: You are beneath contempt.
Adam: You've been rehearsing this, haven't you?
Liza: You stole my child from me. You kept her from me. You completely cut me out.
Adam: Colby was deliriously happy.
Liza: That's not the point, and you know it. You took her to punish me.
Adam: I took her to get her away from your insanity.
Liza: Yeah, well, you know, I was never insane.
Adam: Well, you gave a pretty good impression of it.
Liza: You set me up to make me think I was losing my mind. The only crazy thing I’ve ever done is marry you for the third time.
Adam: You're forgetting about your depraved little joke -- making me think that my son was lying dead along the highway somewhere.
Liza: Gee, who cut the brakes on the car to make me look like a homicidal maniac?
Adam: Put me through me hell.
Liza: Well, that's just a taste of what you've put me through.
Adam: Really? You used my son, my love for my son, to score your pathetic revenge.
Liza: I ripped a page out of your playbook, Adam. J.R.. Was never in any danger of being hurt. Colby, though -- you took her from this house, from me. I had no idea if she would ever come back.
Adam: Well, she did come back. I brought her back, didn't I?
Why don't you take a minute and try to ask yourself why?
Liza: You know what? I have stopped trying to figure out how your twisted mind works.
Adam: No, it's nothing twisted about it. I had Colby all to myself. I could -- I could have taken her anywhere in the world. You never would have found her. I could have poisoned her mind against you. You know, at this age, she thinks the sun rises and sets on her father.
Liza: Yeah, well, she'll get over it.
Adam: Well -- the point being that I could have kept all of Colby’s love for myself, but I didn’t. Because the hell of it was she misses you.
Liza: Yeah, right. And you really give a damn, right?
Adam: About you? No. I did it for Colby -- because she loves you and she needs you.
Liza: And was this your revelation, or did Stuart coach you?
Adam: I could never cut you out of her life completely.
Liza: Oh, I see. So, should I just drop to my knees right here and say thank you for finally doing a right thing?
Adam: Well, I'd settle for just, you know, calling -- kind of calling it even.
Liza: I see. You want a truce?
Adam: How about a compromise?
Liza: Where I end up with the short end of the stick?
Adam: Where you can stay part of Colby’s life if you move out of this house tonight.
Liza: Do you think I’m honestly going to leave my daughter alone with you for a second? Never again.
Adam: Consider the alternative.
Liza: Why don't you consider the alternative? Total banishment from my daughter's life. This is one child's life that you're not going to ruin.
Adam: She's my child, damn it. You can't keep me away from her.
Liza: Actually, you know, I think a family court might be sympathetic to my position -- that you tried to gaslight me into a padded room at oak haven.
Adam: That's your word against mine.
Liza: Yeah, well, your word is worthless. Any judge who's going to look at your rap sheet is not going to give you an innocent child to raise.
Adam: If you fight me, Liza, I'll win.
Liza: Oh, yeah? What are you going to do?
Adam: I guarantee it.
Liza: Are you going to sleep with another judge? Are you going to pay off a jury? Get Barry to forge some affidavits to make me look like I’m an unfit mother?
Adam: If you give me no recourse.
Liza: You know what? Fine. You want to pull out the big guns and the power suits, you just go right ahead. You know what's going to be the first thing I'm going to do? I'm going to talk to them all about Colby’s conception and how you switched the sperm samples. That alone is going to give me sole custody.
Adam: I'll get the testimony thrown out of court.
Liza: You know what? I'll just back it up. Because I'll tell you what -- they'll line up in this town. There's Brooke and Tad and Jake martin. The courthouse steps will be filled with people who you lied
and you've tortured. All the hurt and the damage will make jack the ripper look like a better father than you.
Adam: Really? Are you the people's choice for mother of the year?
Liza: No, I'm a hell of a better parent than you'll ever be.
Adam: Yeah, well, what about your rendezvous with David Hayward?
Liza: You know, that is J.R.’s spin on this whole thing because I broke up his make-out session with his girlfriend.
[Adam laughs]

Adam: Face it, Liza. Neither of us are going to score very well in a courtroom showdown.
Liza: You know what? Then back off because I'm not leaving.
Adam: There's always the fact that you almost had yourself committed.
Liza: You set me up.
Adam: There's no proof of that. Your own sister doubted your sanity. All I did was stand by my sadly delusional wife.
Liza: You're a sick man.
Adam: No, I'm a fighter. You want a battle, Liza? I will give you the fight of your life!

David: Nurse, I need to see a patient's medical file. Her name is Anna Devane.
Nurse: Yes, Dr. Hayward.
David: Thanks.

[David remembers]
Anna: I have something to tell you.
David: Wait a minute. You said earlier that you wanted to celebrate something, and then I overheard Maggie talking about some test results. They weren't about a case, were they? Anna, are you pregnant?

Nurse: I'm sorry. Your access to patients' records has been revoked.
David: It's -- it's only temporary. Thanks for your help.

Edmund: I just want you to feel safe and happy.
Maria: I wish that was it, but what you want is for me to be the woman that you remember.
Edmund: It was the best time of our lives.
Maria: See, I only have your word for that.
Edmund: Ok. You had two things -- two things -- your family --
Maria: Yeah, and I've held Maddie and Sam. I've seen my mom, my brother, you. And all I see are all these expectations and --
Edmund: We can wait.
Maria: I mean, my work, right? And last year, somebody was brought into the ER. A man was brought in. He was critical. He was dying. He was dying, and I couldn't do anything. All I could was stand there -- his life just slipped away, and nothing -- so if that doesn't bring it back for me, Edmund, I mean, if that doesn't hit a nerve for me, what will?
Edmund: I will.
Maria: No, but you don't know that.
Edmund: I will.
Maria: No, you don't know that!
Edmund: I will do anything to get us back to the place that we were before I lost you. Listen to me. You're alive, and I found you again. That means anything is possible, ok? That means we were meant to be together, whatever it takes.
Maria: I can't remember.
Edmund: I'll be your memory. Maria, I will bring you back. I will bring you all the way forward. I will fill you in starting with this. You, Dr. Maria Santos Grey, were more than just a healer. You were -- you are the strongest soul that I have ever known. And if you want something, I mean, there's no doubt in my mind you can get it. You put your -- you put your heart into it -- I mean, if you want your life back, nothing in the world can stand in your way.

Liza: I will fight you to the last breath if I have to.
Adam: I've had weeks to plot my strategy.
Liza: So have I.
Adam: Don't underestimate me, Liza.
Liza: Don't worry. It's not a mistake I’m going to make again.
Adam: I wish it hadn't come to this, but I won't let sentiment stand in my way.
Liza: You know what? Don't hold your breath waiting for me to crumble because that isn't going to happen. I know your weak spots. And round every bend your twisted mind turns, I’ll be waiting for you.
Adam: You've learned nothing about me, have you, if you don't know that nothing can stop me.

Stuart: She doesn't have to stop you, Adam. Liza doesn't have to stop you because we're going to.

Edmund: I pledged my heart to you.
Maria: To a woman who doesn't exist.
Edmund: I don't believe that.
Maria: You have to because look at me. I'm like some stupid, scared rabbit that's running from my past. That is not the woman that you remember, I'm sure of it.
Edmund: Remember this -- remember a plane crash? You do, don't you? The last few minutes before you went down were spent making sure your daughter survived. That's you. That's how strong you are. And believe it -- believe it with all your might, and it'll come back to you.

[Anna talks to her unborn child]
Anna: You're safe. Your daddy is out of our lives.

[Knock on door]
Anna: David, please go away.
Tad: Anna, this is Tad. It's important. Open up. I got it.
Anna: What?
Tad: Something that's going to help put David away for a long time.
Anna: What are you talking about?
Tad: I'm talking about a lie, an outrageous lie that he fed Maria the entire time that she thought she was Maureen Gorman. And I'm not talking about keeping her in the dark about Edmund and her children.
Anna: Yeah?
Tad: You ready for this? David convinced Maria that the reason she could never come back to pine valley was because she was wanted for murder.
Anna: Oh, my God.
Tad: Look, I'm sorry. I know this puts you in a bad place. But say what you will, the fact is this proves how desperate David was to keep whatever he was up to buried. Question now is, what exactly was he doing? This has got to be huge, something that he thought would nail him if it ever came out.
Anna: What kind of a man did I marry? Thank God he doesn't know about the baby.

David: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's true. That's my child.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Stuart: We're going to take charge of the situation.
Liza: "Situation"?
Stuart: Colby.

Jake: If Anna’s pregnant, she may not have the will to put David away.

David: Let this child bring us back together.
Edmund: Your life is here, and I will give it back to you if you just let me.
