ALL MY CHILDREN

SEPTEMBER 25, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Chris: I know today is your father's birthday. I can track him down for you if you want me to.

Vanessa: Vanessa did pass this on to me. Does this mean anything to you?

Brooke: Why did Maureen want to meet with David Hayward? He told her that she had killed somebody.

David: I failed you, and you want to take it out on me.
Maria: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't.
David: My unborn child.

TODAY’S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[LEO AND GREENLEE’S LOFT]
Greenlee: You know, if Nessa could memorize all these numbers, why can't she remember what they're for?
Leo: The way Vanessa’s brain is wired, who the hell knows?
[Trey makes a phone call]
Trey: Hi. My client gave me an account number, but she failed to mention which bank it was for. Yes, yes, it's a 12-digit number beginning with -- I see. Thank you. Their accounts only have eight digits.
Leo: Ugh!
Kendall: Well, then obviously it's not an account number. Maybe it's the combination to a safe or something.
Greenlee: We already thought of that. But where?
Leo: It could be anywhere. Feel like we're spinning our wheels here. Trey, think, please. Kendall, why are you here?
Trey: Leo, maybe you need to take Greenlee out to dinner. I'll reach out, see if I can figure out what the Vanessa numbers mean. If I find anything, I’ll call you.
Greenlee: We can't let you do all that hunting by yourself, Trey. We're in this together, right?
Trey: Absolutely.
Leo: Yeah, forget it.
Greenlee: Well, now what?
Leo: Our problem is, is that we want this to make sense, but that's totally out
of character for Vanessa, right? Trey: Even for Nessa?
Leo: Vanessa is the one who hid the money, so we have to somehow get into that twisted mindset of hers so we -- oh, my -- that's -- that's it.
Greenlee: What?
Leo: That's it.
Trey: What's it?
Leo: Hold on. Just give me a second to --

[Kendall talks to Trey alone]
Kendall: This is a total waste.
Trey: Are you serious? You're talking about millions of dollars here.
Kendall: Yeah, millions of dollars we have to turn in to the cops. In return for what? A gold star and a handshake from his honor?
Trey: Leo needs to give that money back so he can clear his name.
Kendall: Yeah, yeah, so he and Greenlee can move to Paris. I know, I know. The lovebirds fly free. But what about us?
Trey: What about us?
Kendall: Well --
Trey: What are you getting at?
Kendall: It seems to me that your mother owes you this money for dumping you the minute you were born. I can help you keep it.
Trey: Oh, yeah? Why would you want to do that?
Kendall: Simple. For my fair share.

[THE VALLEY INN BAR]
Brooke: Hi. Can you tell me if you've seen a Mr. Edmund Grey?
Bartender: I haven't seen Mr. Grey. Sorry.
Brooke: He might have come here looking for a hotel guest. David Hayward?
Bartender: I know Dr. Hayward.
Brooke: Have you seen him?
Bartender: No.
Brooke: If you -- if you do see him or you see Mr. Grey, would you call me?
Bartender: Sure.
Brooke: Thank you.

Erica: Oh, Brooke. You poor thing.

[WILDWIND MAUSOLEUM]
Anna: Maria? Maria, listen to me. I need you to make an official statement about what David did to you after the plane crash. Jack: Including the administration of an unauthorized pharmaceutical and identity fraud.
Anna: Then we can arrest him. You want us to arrest him, don't you?
Edmund: Look, Maria, this is just formalities. Of course she does.
David: Maureen, it's up to you. You want to send me to prison for --
Jack: You say one more word to her, and I am going to have you arrested for witness intimidation. You understand me?
Anna: He can't hurt you now. He should be put away for this.
David: That's only if you have a case, but Maureen knows that you don't.
Edmund: You're guilty, and everyone knows it.
David: You mean, everybody wants me to be. But does Maureen?
Maria: I won't do it. I won't put David in prison.

Brooke: Erica, what do you want?
Erica: Well, you're looking for Edmund.
Brooke: Have you seen him?
Erica: That's not the point.
Brooke, what are you doing to yourself?
Brooke: I'm not going to get into this.
Erica: Well, the whole town is talking about Maria's return. Is it true, Brooke? Is it true that you knew that Maria was alive and you didn't tell anyone?
Brooke: Yes, it's true. All right, you want to tell me how thrilled you are that the whole world and the whole town knows how pathetic and how weak I was?
Erica: Oh, come on. I am not judging you. Not at all. I mean, I certainly have been on the receiving end of this town's disapproval.
Brooke: Yes, you have. Many times.
Erica: Which is why I’m even speaking to you.
Brooke: So that makes us even, ok?
Erica: Brooke, I am trying to help you save face. I mean, this trolling bars for Edmund when he clearly doesn't want to see you -- I mean, that just makes matters worse for you.
Brooke: Erica, I don't have to give you a reason why I’m here, but I do have a legitimate reason for looking for Edmund.
Erica: Isn't that Maria’s job now?
Brooke: You know, you don't know what's going on.
Erica: I am just trying to help save you any further humiliation.
Brooke: Oh, right. Can the fake sympathy. I like it better when you're sniping at me because at least it's honest.
Erica: Oh, I am being honest. Unlike you, who kept the truth from Edmund and you allowed poor Edmund and those children to go on thinking that Maria was dead.
Brooke: Well, maybe when Maria gets her memory back, she'll remember that you tried to keep her daughter from her.
Erica: Oh, yes. Well, you always thought that you were better than I am. You know what? At least now you know -- you are pathetic. You are a desperate, bitter woman.
[Aidan walks up to the bar]
Erica: Aidan, hello.
Aidan: Hi.
Erica: Hi. Aidan, do you happen to know where I could find my fiancé?
Aidan: Chris? Yeah, he's at the site. He's been there working like a madman since you left. I think he's worried about you.
Erica: Really? I can't imagine why.
[Erica leaves]

Aidan: Can I have a cold bottle of beer, please, Sir?
Bartender: Sure. There you go.
Aidan: Cheers.
Bartender: Cheers.

Brooke: Hi. I'm Brooke English.
Aidan: I know who you are.
Brooke: I know who you are, too. Can I talk to you about Maria?
Aidan: You don't get it. I know what you did to Maureen, and I’ve got nothing to say to you.

Edmund: Maria, whatever Hayward told you, he's just trying to stay out of prison, all right? He doesn't care about you, our children.
Maria: I know that. I lost my memory. I'm not brain-dead.
Anna: So why did you let him get to you?
Maria: You know, none of you knows what happened to me. I mean, yes, he lied to me, and that was cruel and it was self-serving. But the bottom line is that he saved my life, and that's -- that's everything.
Anna: Ok, let me get this straight -- David used you for research. He forced you underground to keep you quiet, and basically you're grateful for that?
Maria: Like I said, you don't know what happened. It was more than just a drug that kept me alive. It was David’s dedication. He fought to save my life, and I’m not going to punish him for that.

[Leo types on his laptop]
Greenlee: Leo, what are you doing?
Leo: Greenlee, please, hang on a second.
Greenlee: No, tell me! Come on.
Leo: Could you get me something to eat?

Trey: So you want to ditch Leo and Greenlee and keep the cash for ourselves?
Kendall: They don't even need the money. Greenlee's got, like, a huge trust fund. That's why they're so willing to turn it all in.
Trey: If we don't give it back, Leo goes to prison.
Kendall: All right, so then we give back some of it and we keep the rest for us. Come on, Trey. Come on, nobody knows how many zillions your mother has stashed. We could skim a few off the top and no one would be the wiser.
Trey: Leo will never go for it.
Kendall: Leo doesn't have to know. Listen, you go, you find out where your mommy hid the cash. I'll stall them, and you can get there first. Think of it as a finder's fee. You deserve that much. We both do.
Trey: Uh-uh. No way. Leo is my brother.
Kendall: Oh, come on, you barely even know the guy.

Leo: Ok, ok, ok, I think I got something.
Trey: You do?
Leo: That's where it is. That's where it is.
Trey: What is it?
Leo: Ok, those numbers that she gave us are map coordinates. See? Look at this- longitude right there, and latitude.
Kendall: How do you know that?
Leo: Oh, I can't believe I didn't think of this before. Vanessa had a cardinal rule whenever she was leaving marks. Always leave three degrees longitude and latitude when finding the next mark. You can't be any closer than that.
Greenlee: Six degrees of separation.
Leo: Yeah, she told me that when I was a kid.
Greenlee: Must have been the sea captain personality coming out.
Trey: Are you sure the numbers are coordinates?
Leo: I'm positive because I checked the numbers, and they're the exact longitude and latitude of the Pine Valley State Park. Look at that.
Trey: That's a big park. Looks like we got some digging to do.
Greenlee: Digging?
Kendall: I -- I’m not --
Leo: All right, we're going to need shovels. Everybody get shovels, and I got the map, so -- are you going to sit there like a bunch of --
Trey: I'm going to make sure we got the location, all right?
Leo: Ok, let's go.
Greenlee: Uh, we'll be right there. We're going to get some work gloves because our hands --
Kendall: Yeah, we're going to cover up.

Greenlee: Look at him. He's already trying to figure out a way to get to that money without us.
Kendall: I don't know. I don't know, Greenlee. I just offered to bail with him with the cash, and he totally turned me down.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, maybe he didn't want to share it with you. I've got to find some other way to prove that he's using Leo before it's too late.

Greenlee Coming, Trey?
Trey: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’ll be right there.

Trey: Kendall's right, Mom. You do owe me. It's time to collect.

[CONSTRUCTION SITE – ERICA’S NEW PENTHOUSE]
Erica: Hello. Oh, wow. Look at this place. It's really shaping up.
Chris: It's behind schedule.
Erica: It’s perfect. Well worth waiting for. Oh, Chris, I have such a great idea for the draperies in the bedroom --
Chris: You know, why don't we just forget about the draperies, Erica. Why don't we just forget about the whole thing.
Erica: What?
Chris: "What?" You know, how can you stand here in front of me with a look of surprise on your face and say, "what"? How can you do that to me when you're the one who's playing games?

Brooke: I understand. I would probably feel the same way if I were Maria’s friend.
Aidan: Well, from what I heard, you were Maria’s friend once.
Brooke: I was. I still -- I still am. At least, I want to be. I want to try and make things right for her, and you can help.
Aidan: I'm listening.
Brooke: You weren't here when Edmund and Maria met. When Edmund saw Maria, he fell completely in love with her. I mean, she brought out a joy in him that I have never seen before, and he did the same for her. It was like they were more than a couple. They -- they were everything to each other. They were like the air that each other breathed.
Aidan: Then why did you try so hard to keep them apart?
Brooke: I don't have an excuse. I was wrong. I was as wrong as a person can be, which is why I just want to help fix things now.
Aidan: Well, maybe you can start by staying out of Maureen’s life.
Brooke: You're right. But so should you.

Edmund: Maria -- Maureen -- I know that you believe that Hayward saved your life. But then he turned around and he stole five years of it. Maria: But he didn't steal my memories. That all happened in the plane crash. I mean, this is really easy to just blame everything on David.
Jack: Yeah, considering the facts, you bet it is.
Maria: Well, he didn't cause the plane crash, did he? Come on, he risked his career to save my life.
Anna: Oh, Maria, he didn't risk anything. He forced you underground away from everyone who loves you.
Maria: Oh, that's how you see it.
Anna: Yes.
Edmund: That's how it was. I mean, when he found you and he found out your name, he could have let the police know that you were alive.
Anna: Yeah.
Maria: Maybe, but I’m still not going to press charges now.
Jack: All right, listen. Listen to me. We can still bring David to trial for drugging that cop. I can call you as a hostile witness. Once you're on that stand, we can expose all the lies he's told you.
Maria: Well, then go ahead, and I will just tell the jury what I told you, which is that he saved my life.
Jack: And if I asked you under oath, did he inject you with untested drugs, what would your answer be?
Maria: That I don't remember. And I think the jury would buy that, coming from an amnesiac.
Anna: Look, Maria, this isn't a matter of loyalty. David is brilliant at mind games. I know. I've been there.
Maria: Don't patronize me. I know what I’m doing!
Anna: Ok. God, I really hope you do.
Edmund: Ok, ok, listen, everybody. Enough. She's -- she's a little crowded. Can I speak to her alone?
Jack: Yeah, I think that's a great idea. Please do.
Edmund: Maureen, do you mind?

[Jack whispers to David]
Jack: Oh, take that smug look off your face. You're not out of this yet, not by a long shot.

[PV STATE PARK – EVENING]
Greenlee: This is taking forever!
Trey: Are you sure that this is the right spot? How could those directions be so precise? What if she buried it under that tree over there or over there?
Leo: Look, the ground was soft here. If I guessed wrong, we'll start digging somewhere else. Quit your complaining. Keep digging.
Greenlee: We're going to be here all night.
Kendall: Yeah, and the mosquitoes are, like, in full attack mode.
Leo: Hey, if Vanessa could come up here and hide this stash by herself, I think the four of us can manage to find it.
Trey: Maybe she didn't hide it by herself, right? Maybe one of her henchmen did it.
Kendall: Hey, didn't your dad work for Vanessa? Maybe he knew where the money was. It's too bad he's dead. Ow!
[Greenlee smacks Kendall]
Greenlee: There was a mosquito on you.
Kendall: Right. There was one on you.
Greenlee: No, there wasn't.
Kendall: Yes, there was! Don't push me around!
Greenlee: No, there wasn't! Who do you think you are?
Leo: www.Shut-The- Hell-Up.Com!
Kendall: Stop pushing me!
Leo: Please cooperate, ladies. Greens, come here. We are so close to finding the stash here. Come on, just keep thinking Paris. Just keep thinking Paris.
Trey: Isn't there some, like, bug spray in the car or something?
Kendall: Yeah, I’m there. Can I have the keys, please?
Greenlee: I'm not giving you the keys. Knowing you, you'll steal the car and leave us here stranded.
Kendall: I will not steal the car. Just give me the keys.
Trey: Why don't you both go?
Leo: Yes. Leave a flashlight.
Kendall: Fine.
Greenlee: Good idea.
Kendall: Uh, excuse me.
Trey: Don't hurry back.
Leo: Yeah.

Leo: Oh -- I got something.
Trey: What is it? Let's see. Come on.
Leo: I don't know. It's a metallic --
Trey: It's a box.
Leo: Vanessa's great, big nest egg. Freedom! Freedom!
Leo: Allonenfants de la patrie le jour de gloire est arrive contre nous, de la tyrannie, l'etandard sanglant est -- we got it! I got it, I got it. I got it.
Trey: Come on, open it. Open it. What are you waiting for? Open it.
Leo: I don't see a key on here, or a lock or anything on here.
Trey: Just open it. Come on.
Leo: Come here. Help me. I want you to help me.
Trey: No, no, that's ok. You open it.
Leo: No, no, no. You've been skipping out of this family for too long, man. You've proven yourself to me. You got a brother for life. Come on. Maybe I can find a -- if we have a screwdriver, maybe we can open this.
Trey: So do you. Got a brother for life. Let's open it up, see what's in that baby.
Leo: I think we might need, like -- do we have any screwdrivers or anything? Anything that might --

Greenlee: Oh, my God. Leo, you found it! You were right!
Kendall: That's it? That crummy box?
Leo: Come on.
Greenlee: Open it, open it!
Leo: Come here, come here.
Greenlee: Oh, oh -- get your dirty hands off me.
Leo: This is our freedom, Greenlee. This is it right here. I don't know if -- oh, it's open. Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this.
Trey: Come on, what is it?
Greenlee: Look, it's not cash. It's stock certificates?
Trey: How many? Come on.
Leo: Looks like there's thousands and thousands of shares in here.
Kendall: How much is it worth? How much is it worth? Like millions? Like hundreds of --
[Greenlee screams]
Greenlee: We're on our first flight to Paris!
Leo: Hold on a second. Give me that flashlight.
This is -- com-Ron-Co. This is all Com-Ron-Co stuff.
Greenlee: Com-Ron-Co?
Leo: Yeah. Greenlee: Don't say that. Com-Ron-Co went bankrupt last week. Please tell me you're kidding.
Leo: No, I’m not. Look.
Greenlee: What?
Leo: Yeah.
Trey: Their CEO was just indicted for fraud. They went belly-up.
Leo: This is worthless.
Trey: Yeah.
Leo: This is all worthless.

Edmund: Look, Maria, I know the prospect of a trial is terrifying. You don't want to relive the pain in that plane crash, but you can't let Hayward off scot-free.
Maria: Hayward lied. He lied for his own selfish reasons, but that does not rate a prison term.
Edmund: It ought to, ok? It ought to. He is long overdue for a prison term, and you're not the first person he drugged.
Maria: So let somebody else testify against him, and have everybody else just leave me alone.
Edmund: Maria, I can't believe that this is you talking.
Maria: I'm not Maria! That's why -- do you know how much I hate having to remind you of this?
Edmund: You cannot have changed that much.
Maria: Well, five years on the run can change a person.
Edmund: That's Hayward, ok? He sentenced you to five years of feeling guilty of a crime you couldn’t possibly conceive of doing. A murder! Why?
Maria: I don't know.
Edmund: I do know.
Maria: I don't know.
Edmund: I do know. He did not care. Let me tell you this -- he was at my house drinking my champagne at benefits in your honor for years, knowing he was keeping your children from their mother.
Maria: You don't have to remind me how much I’ve hurt Sam and Maddie. I already know.
Edmund: Then don't let him get away with this.
Maria: Get away with what, though, Edmund? I'm the one who can't remember. I'm the one who breaks those kids' hearts every day. Theirs, yours, my mother's, everyone, because they all need something from me and I can't give it to them, and that kills me every day.
Edmund: You will remember.
Maria: Edmund, I may never remember. I may never remember, and then I will have put all of you through this pain for nothing. Actually, David is right. Keeping me away from all of you, he actually did us a favor.

Erica: I am not playing games.
Chris: Erica, you were supposed to come back to the restaurant in 20 minutes. That was 29 hours ago.
Erica: Look, I had a business emergency. I had to leave town.
Chris: Oh, you couldn't pick up a phone?
Erica: I was so pressed for time. And I’ll tell you what, I had no idea that you'd be so worried about me. I mean, I think it's kind of sweet, actually.
Chris: No, no, you see, that's part of your game. You knew I would be worried about you. Look, all you had to do was call me and tell me what you were doing.
Erica: Since when do I have to clear my every move with you? Especially when it concerns my company. I mean, you don't consult me about your work.
Chris: Oh, so that's what this little disappearing act was all about. This is my payback for returning to active duty.
Erica: Oh, don't flatter yourself. I run a huge company. I was needed.
Chris: You were needed -- this conversation is not over. Right now we have something else important to talk about.
Erica: What? What are you trying to say?
Chris: I found him. I found your father.
Erica: You found my father?
Chris: Got his number right here ~
Erica: You had no right to that.
Chris: I asked you about this before you took off.
Erica: Well, I didn't give you permission to go ahead and do it! I wanted to think about it!
Chris: All you had to do was -- all right, fine. You -- you think about it, and if and when you decide to call him, you now have a number to contact him.
Erica: Why in the world would I want to contact him? He's the one who walked out on me. He knows where I am if he wants to see me.
Chris: Then why don't you just be the better person?
Erica: Oh, don't give me a lecture on "better person." You don't understand.
Chris: Erica, I’m trying. I'm just trying to make sure that the next time your father's birthday rolls around, that the woman I love doesn't self-destruct.
Erica: Do you think it's that easy? You think just one little quick fix and a lifetime of neglect goes away?
Chris: Nothing's easy with you, Darling. But where I come from, we deal with our problems. We try to solve them.

Val: Uh, excuse m
Chris: Now's not a good Time Val.
Erica: No, it's all right, Val. Come in.
Val: Um, security told me you were up here, and I thought you might want to see these before they wilt.
[Val hands Erica flowers]
Erica: Oh, they're beautiful, Val. Thank you very, very much.
Val: Of course.

Erica: Thank you. Well -- you can't be this mad at me.
Chris: Don't look at me. I didn't have a reason to send them.
Erica: Well, then, who?
Chris: Some other guy? Any need for me to be jealous?
Erica: They're from my father.

Edmund: I promise you it will be worth the pain to get your life back. I promise you. We'll set up another session with Dr. McMillan. You can spend more time with your kids --
Maria: Do you hear yourself? Edmund, I mean, you're doing exactly what you just accused David of doing. You're trying to take over my life and get me to be somebody that you want me to be.
Edmund: Ok, I’m sorry. I'm sorry. Just tell me what you need to do. Anything, and I’ll do it.
Maria: I just need to get out of here. I've got to get away from this place, please. I just can't deal --
Edmund: Ok, fine, I’ll take you wherever you need to go. The Valley Inn --
Maria: No, no, no, you've got to stay here. The kids need you, Edmund.
Edmund: Well, you shouldn't be alone. I can call Isabella, Mateo --
Maria: No, no, no, no. I want a friend. I need a friend. I just -- can you call Aidan?

Aidan: I am helping Maureen because she asked me to.
Brooke: You're keeping her from her past. She needs to get back to her real life.
Aidan: Whose real life? Maria Grey's real life? Because Maureen only knows her own life, and that's Maureen Gorman’s. And from what I can see, Brooke, you're trying to take away the only past that she knows.
Brooke: Maureen Gorman lived in the shadows. She was afraid to let anybody get close to her. I know because I saw her in Nevada. I just want to help her get back to the person who she was who was loved, who was whole five years ago.
Aidan: And that can happen if I’m not in the picture?
Brooke: To wake up lonely day after day -- it's a terrible thing, and that's what Maria’s life has been.
Aidan: You don't really know that.
Brooke: I know that she pushes everyone away except you.
Aidan: Oh, so I’m going to push her away now? Gee, that makes a lot of sense.
Brooke: She needs to get back to her own life, to the life that she and Edmund deserve. Can't you just think about that?
[Phone rings]
Aidan: Excuse me.

Aidan: Hello?
Edmund: Aidan, this is Edmund Grey.
Aidan: What can I do for you?
Edmund: It's Maureen. She's here with me. She wants to see you.
Aidan: I'll be right there. Where are you?
Edmund: Wildwind. Mausoleum near the chapel.

Edmund: He's on his way.
Maria: I'm sorry. I -- that was really stupid. I didn't mean to hurt you. I should have made that phone call myself.
Edmund: No. I said I would do this your way.

Aidan: That was your pal Edmund. He wants me to go to Wildwind.
Brooke: Edmund's at home?
Edmund: He's with Maureen. Evidently, Brooke, he disagrees with you. I'm not the worst thing for Maria after all.

Greenlee: Vanessa must be cracked. I mean, who buys stock certificates anymore?
Trey: No. No, no, see, she's brilliant. This -- this is why the electronic trail ended. She put all her money in stocks, liquefied all her assets, put it all in stocks so that she can sell it back and it's completely untraceable. That's where Proteus' money was.
Greenlee: She's not all that brilliant. She spent millions on these stocks, and now it's not even worth the paper it's printed on.
Kendall: Wow. All that time and energy you put into getting Vanessa’s money, and all you get is scrap paper. Bummer.
[Leo laughs]
Greenlee: What's so funny?
Leo: I'm just -- I’m just thinking about everything that Vanessa did to keep us away from this money. She kept the cops, the FEDS, Wolf, and God knows who else off the trail, and we've been running like a bunch of idiots for how long now?
Greenlee: Yeah. Yeah, it's hilarious.
Leo: It's hilarious. Oh. Thank God I know what's important, otherwise this would really mess with my head. You know what I mean?
Trey: No, no, no. You see, I’m really not loving this.
Leo: Oh, come on. You got to admit it's pretty funny.
Kendall: Ok, you know what? Your husband has a very warped sense of humor.
Leo: Oh, come on. The millions that Vanessa made drug trafficking was lost to some corporate crooks who are now going to jail, too? I mean, it's -- crime really doesn't pay. Come on! Think about it! Think about it. Proteus is history. This is finally over with. It is finally over with after -- ugh! Aah! Aah!
Leo: Yeah!

Chris: After all these years, your father decides now to send you flowers?
Erica: Well, I guess it's pretty obvious that some of your friends at the bureau tipped him off that I am looking for him, which I am not.
Chris: Not a chance. Never happen.
Erica: Well, it doesn't matter because it's going to take a lot more than flowers to ever get me to forgive him.
Chris: "Your favorites, but --" "but they pale next to your beauty. Until our paths cross again." There's no name. You sure these are from your father?
Erica: Oh, he knows I love red roses.
Chris: Out of the blue, a dozen red roses from your dad.
Erica: Oh, yeah, it's just like him. Big display, no meaning at all behind it.
Chris: No, I think there is meaning.
Erica: Why are you defending him?
Chris: I'm not.
Erica: Look, you don't even know my father. I know my father, not you. You just stay out of this, all right? This is my problem, not yours!

Edmund: Maureen stands by her decision.
Jack: Is there nothing that we could do or say that would make you change your mind?
Anna: Aidan. What are you doing here?
Aidan: Edmund called me. Are you all right?
Maria: Yeah.
Aidan: Why is he here?
Maria: They wanted me to testify against David, and I just said no.
Aidan: Are you sure?
David: Yeah, she's sure! How many times does she have to say it?
Maria: Can we -- look, I just have to get out of here. Can we just go, please?
Aidan: Yeah, sure.
David: Maureen -- thank you.
Aidan: You dodged a bullet, Davey. You stay away from her if you know what's good for you.

Anna: Are you all right?
Edmund: I could just use a little time alone thanks.
Anna: Yeah, I’m sorry. Let's go.
Jack: Are you ok?

David: I guess I’m free to go?
Jack: Not too far. You're only out on bail, remember?
David: Anna, please. You're the mother of my child. Maureen was just a patient. If she can forgive me, why can't you?

[Edmund screams and lashes out]
Edmund: You're not dead! You're not dead!

[Leo and Trey laugh]
Greenlee: You know, I don't think any of this is funny.
Leo: Why not? Whoo!
Greenlee: Vanessa held on to her precious little cash as long as it was worth something, even when it got my father killed. And it almost got you killed. And then as soon as the stock crashes, she conveniently coughs up the coordinates.
Leo: No, Vanessa didn't give us the coordinates. Nessa gave us --
Greenlee: Oh, you know what, it's the same person! Can't you see that? Vanessa has played us, ok? We're never going to get to Paris.
Leo: Yeah, we will, Greenlee.
Kendall: The stocks are worthless.
Leo: No, no, no, it's not our fault. The DA wanted the Proteus stash. That's what we're going to give him. It's not our fault it's worth nada.
Greenlee: You mean --
Leo: Yeah. Vanessa came through for us. We're free. It's party time.
Greenlee: Hey, you know what? Hang on to that, ok? Jackson Montgomery is going to need every little one of these.
Trey: You know, she's right. Let's get them all.
Leo: All right, pick it up. Pick it up.
Kendall: Give me those.
Trey: Wait, you missed one.
Leo: We got the flashlight, the shovels -- anything else? You want to do some more shoveling just for fun? No? All right, let's go.
Kendall: Oh -- my purse, my purse.
Greenlee: You know what? I think I lost my cell phone. So I’m going to look for it, ok? I'll be right there.
Leo: You want some help?
Greenlee: No, no, no, I’ll be right there. Go on. Go on.

[Greenlee dials her cell phone]
[Phone rings]
Vanessa: Hello?
Greenlee: You think you won, don't you?
Vanessa: Greenlee, dear, is that you?
Greenlee: You think you stopped us from going to Paris? Well, think again.
Vanessa: Well, didn't those numbers help you, dear? I mean, did it help you -- did you find Vanessa’s nasty drug money?
Greenlee: Of course we found it. Thank you so much. Of course, you knew it was worthless.
Vanessa: Worthless? Oh, I don't understand.
Greenlee: Oh, sure you do. You're the three faces of evil. Everyone else might buy your Nessa act, but I know you're still the same psycho, warped killer you always were.
Vanessa: Oh, Sweetie --
Greenlee: Oh, don't, don't -- don't "Sweetie" me. You think you've reeled Leo back in, but you didn't. We're going to Paris, and you're going to prison where you belong. I'll make sure Leo never, ever sees you again.

[Greenlee hands up on Vanessa]
[‘Nessa’ talks to herself – as the *real Vanessa]
Vanessa: Oh, you will never take my son away, you spoiled little tramp. Not while I’m in charge.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Kendall: I know who set fire to Erica’s house.

David: Welcome to the family, I guess.

Jack: If that phone were to ring and David was on the other end asking you for one last chance, what would you do?
