ALL MY CHILDREN

AUGUST 21, 2001

Edmund: Anna? Anna? Steffi, have you seen Anna?
Steffi: Sir, she's here, but she's not here exactly.
Edmund: Not tonight, Steffi. Steffi: Miss Anna is
on the estate, but no one seems to know quite where.
Edmund: She's searching for Rosa and Gabriel, isn't she?
Steffi: The whole staff is, Sir.
Edmund: Page me if you see Anna. She shouldn't be doing this alone tonight.

Gabriel: Anna, why didn't you just let us go?
Anna: Don't argue with me.
Gabriel: Why don't you just act like you never found us and stay out of this?
Anna: It's a little late for that, don't you think?
Gabriel: Why?
Rosa: Gabriel, don't.
Anna: "Why you're my brother. I love you. I'd do anything I could to make sure you were safe. Do you need more than that?

Dixie: Well, this is some wild party. Woo-hoo.
Jamie: Yeah. We miss Dad.
Dixie: Right. Well, I know your dad misses you guys, too, a lot. And I know he wants to be here. He's really happy, though, that you guys are getting to go to soccer camp.
J.R.: Look, Mom, I know it wasn't easy for you to get a counselor to agree to some sleep-away camp.
Dixie: Oh, come on. All I had to do was butter-up that judge in juvy court and tell him the truth, which is that your team could not survive without their power forward.
J.R.: I hate this. Even the simplest things just aren't simple anymore.
Dixie: Could be a lot worse, J.R.
J.R.: Yeah, I know. It's just that I did so many stupid things. And if I hadn't, you know, you wouldn't have to be begging some judge to give me a break.
Dixie: At least we're back on track.
J.R.: Mom, how can you say that? Tad is being watched like he's some kind of crook by some federal agent.

Tad: Somebody mention my name?
Dixie: Tad.
J.R.: Hey.
Tad: Hey, gorgeous.
J.R.: Tad, watch out!

Ryan: You can stay in this cabin.
Mia: Wow. Fine.
Ryan: Well, that's a great attitude for someone letting you crash rent-free.
Mia: Yeah, right. Nothing's for free.
Ryan: You might want to think about cutting Liza a little slack.
Mia: Yeah, I might want to think about sticking needles in my eyeballs, too.
Ryan: She loved her father. Even thought he was one way, you're telling her that he was another. What do you expect?
Mia: So why is she all over me? Why shoot the messenger?
Ryan: Well, for exactly that reason -- because you're here and he's not.
Mia: Look, Liza wishes I was dead. She probably wishes I was never even born.
Ryan: Liza just needs a little time. What do you want? Like a gift and a greeting card saying, "Welcome to the family, Sis"? Come on, Mia. Her father cheated on her mother and had a child. Put yourself in her shoes for a minute.
Mia: Well, I have. And I didn't like it. And I don't like her attitude, and if she keeps up, she's going to regret the day that she was born.

Marian: Liza, wait. I know your heart's been broken. First your husband and now your father.
Liza: Do you have any proof that Daddy had a mistress?
Marian: Well, what is Mia if she isn't proof?
Liza: Oh, gee, I don't know -- a liar?
Marian: She's not lying, Liza.
Liza: And how do you know? Your gut? Your instinct?
Marian: Actually, yes.
Liza: No, I don't trust your instinct, Mother. I trust my instinct. And it's telling me to run this Mia whatever-her-name-is the hell out of town.
Marian: Liza, please wait. I'm begging you. I told you I knew about this for an awfully long time, since right after your father died.
Liza: I don't want to hear it.
Marian: You have to hear it, Liza. Please, you just have to. Please.
Marian: Mia's mother contacted me. She was all alone. She had no hope of getting any help in raising Mia, and she wanted to come to your father's funeral. And I wouldn't allow her to do that.
Liza: Well, did you pay her to stay away?
Marian: I gave her some money, yes. Well, what? She was almost destitute.
Liza: Oh, Mother, don't you see? This could've been a scam even way back then. You know, she finds out that Daddy died, she contacts you, she milks you for money, and then a generation later the spawn of it all comes begging for more!
Marian: That's not the way it happened.
Liza: Then how much money did you give her? Really? That much?
Marian: Liza, I didn't want anyone to know that your father had cheated on me. I didn't want him to be remembered that way. And most of all, I didn't want you to find out about it because I knew how much you loved him. I knew you'd be devastated. And, Liza, those were very rough times for us. Very rough. I was doing everything I could to hold our family together -- or to hold what was left of our family together.
Liza: How long did this go on? I mean, since Daddy died?
Marian: No, no, no. It stopped after a while, and then I found out that Mia's mother had died and she was being raised by an uncle.
Liza: And you believe this whole sad tale based on your gut instinct?
Marian: Maybe this will make you believe it. This is Mia's birth certificate. Your father is named. It's real.
Liza: And you know this is it? You know this is real?
Marian: Liza --
Liza: Mother, I could have a stack of these birth certificates, with Daddy's name, on your desk by morning. All it takes is money.
Marian: But I --
Liza: "But" nothing. Can't you see that this is a fraud?
Marian: What, you think Mia forged this?
Liza: I think that she would sell her right arm to pay her rent. And you know what? Knowing that, I am going to give you proof that this whole thing is one big, disgusting lie.
Marian: Well, what are you going to do?
Liza: I am going to nail that lying tramp to the floorboards, Mother!
Marian: Liza?

Ryan: Look, I know I was there for you, or whatever, back at the gym when you were getting all upset. But guess what -- I'm not licensed in this state to counsel you through sibling rivalry.
Mia: Liza's not my rival. She's just a speck.
Liza: Liza is not a speck. Trust me on that. I know.
Mia: Yeah, well, she can't get away with calling me a liar.
Ryan: You know what? You're wiped. Get a good night's sleep, and why don't you see how you feel about ripping your sister's hair out in the morning. Ok? There's a small crew onboard. When you wake up, you can help yourself to some coffee, breakfast. Just don't take advantage of --
Mia: What are you doing?
Ryan: What?
Mia: Why are you defending Liza to me? I mean, what, you think I can't handle her? You think she's, like, tougher than me or something?
Ryan: You y have a hell of a left hook, but Liza and her husband own half of the known world, ok, and they can make your life very, very miserable with a few well-placed phone calls.
Mia: Oh, so what does that mean? You're on her side?
Ryan: No. I don't have a side to be on. I'm just trying to warn you about the power of a woman like Liza.
Mia: Ha.
Ryan: She's got a lot of money and she's got an iron will, and if she's annoyed, you're done.
Mia: You know, I know what's going on here.
Ryan: With what?
Mia: You and my big sister, Romeo. You're doing her while her husband's out of town. Mr. "Oh, I'm so overwhelmed with grief." You guys are all alike.
Ryan: You know what? I'm out of here.
Mia: Why? You can't handle the truth?
Ryan: No, I can't handle what I might do to you if I stay in this room for another two seconds.
Mia: What is it? Pity sex? Comfort sex? Sex for sex? There is no way that you can be objective about Liza.

Tad: I appreciate the heads-up, but this is Chris Stamp, and he's very definitely one of the good guys. He's also letting me come to your good-bye party.
Chris: 20 minutes, Tad. We're out of here.
Tad: All right.
Dixie: Uh, why don't you guys get Mr. Stamp and Tad something else to drink -- you know, some lemonade or some of that weird green stuff, you know, that's up above the oven.
Jamie: J.R., Come on, I can't reach it.
Dixie: Thanks.

J.R.: Look, Tad, I'm sure you're probably going to get in trouble for all this. But I'm really glad you came.
Dixie: Hey!
Tad: Oh, aren't you good-looking. Hey, Chris, listen -- now that the eagle's landed, why don't you relax and have some cake, ok?
Chris: Do you think it's easy to keep you out of sight, man? Do you think that we don't have people following our tails, huh?
Tad: I know. I appreciate it, you know? But why don't we just try to relax a bit, take it easy. Nobody saw us come in here.
Chris: You don't know that. The Pine Valley PD is not working with the bureau on this one, Tad.
Tad: Yeah, I know, and you wouldn't let me help you, either.
Dixie: Hey --
Tad: That's your call. But you know what? Don't get cranky with me because I'm sick and tired of spending my time rotting in some hotel room.
Dixie: Sweetie, Sweetie, he's just trying to keep you safe.
Tad: Yeah, well, how long, you know? Are you guys even looking for Sweeney's killers?
Dixie: Honey --
Chris: Don't go there!
Tad: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, ok? I just -- I need my wife, I need my children. I want my life back.
Chris: I understand that. You make sure he stays in one place while I make sure we weren't followed?
Dixie: Yeah, sure.

Dixie: He's drinking too much coffee.
Tad: Oh. Oh, yes.

Anna: When was the last time either of you ate?
Gabriel: We're ok.
Anna: Do you have enough water, you think?
Rosa: Yeah, we were just about to go get some more food when you found us.
Anna: Oh.
Rosa: This isn't such a bad place for us to be.
Anna: It's a mausoleum, Rosa.
Rosa: Yeah, I know. But I know this place. I come here sometimes.
Anna: Your sister. Gabriel, this can't go on. Were you really on your way to get food when I saw you?
Gabriel: We were leaving.
Anna: Leaving where? Town?
Gabriel: Yes.
Anna: Lovely. Where were you thinking of going?
Gabriel: The less you know, the better.
Anna: No, don't shut me out.
Gabriel: Look, if I tell you where we're going, it'll be bad for you, Anna.
Anna: If you don't tell me where you're going, it'll be worse for you. Don't you -- I mean, can't you believe in me still? There's no way on earth I would tell another living person where you were. I would never do that. Look in my eyes and tell me you believe me. Is that a yes? Rosa, will you stay put?
Rosa: Yeah, yeah.
Anna: Ok. I'm going to get blankets, water, and some decent food for you to eat.
Gabriel: Be careful, Anna. If you go out there, and people see you --
Anna: No, they won't. I won't breathe a word of this to anyone. There's no way you're going to prison for something that neither of you did. Are we clear on this?
Rosa: Yeah, I'm clear.
Gabriel: Yeah, ok.
Anna: Good. Stay here. You know, one other thing -- if this is a snow job and you're still thinking of taking off, I will find you. And when I do, you're going to wish the police had got to you first. Now, I mean it.

Anna: Hi.
Edmund: Hi. There you are. Where have you been?
Anna: Out. On the grounds.
Edmund: Yeah?
Anna: You?
Edmund: Looking for you.
Anna: Oh.
Edmund: Hi.
Anna: Well, here I am.
Edmund: The guard said you came in through the kitchen entrance about 10 minutes ago?
Anna: Yeah, I did.
Edmund: What's up? Why'd you do that? Anna: I was hungry. What's with the tone?
Edmund: Did you find Gabriel and Rosa?
Anna: No. Did you?
Edmund: No, obviously.
Anna: Oh, well, my brother's very resourceful. I mean, he had to have been to survive Bryn Wydd, so I'm thinking that they probably skipped town right now, and I'm quite honestly glad.
Edmund: Really?
Anna: Yeah. It'll give us time to figure out who did try to kill Marcus Dunn with a boat oar and let my brother take the rap for it. You know, it makes me so mad I could spit.
Anna: Well?
Edmund: Well?
Anna: Any other leads on who might have been at the boathouse that night?
Edmund: Well, there was Shannon. I spoke to her at the hospital. I tried to get her to open up, but, you know, she -- she closed up. No luck.
Anna: Nothing, huh?
Edmund: No. Then Derek is -- he's a little vague on the priors -- you know, Marcus' prior history of violence.
Anna: Oh, so you didn't find out anything at the hospital, then?
Edmund: I spoke to the night nurse. And she saw Marcus' watch, so it was probably swiped before it was, you know, put in Rosa's purse.
Edmund: It's a little late for a picnic, isn't it? You found them, didn't you? Where are they?

Tad: Oh, get his leg.
J.R.: Ow.
Tad: Ja, is good. Oh, my God. Oh, oh, sorry. Time for cardiovascular massage.

Dixie: He misses his boys, Chris.
Chris: I get that. I get that, Dixie. There's something I want you to get. If the bad guys come here looking for him, they take no prisoners.
Dixie: I understand. And -- it's just that he's willful, you know?

Tad: Don't mess his hair. Don't ever go after a man's hair.

Chris: It's not a game.
Dixie: Well, I'll talk to him about it, ok? I promise.
Chris: All right.
Dixie: Did you check outside around the house?
Chris: Everything seems to be fine.

Tad: Who's your man? Who's your guy?

[J.R. Groans]

Dixie: Do you have a family, Chris?
Chris: The bureau doesn't issue kids as standard gear.
Dixie: Do you have anything that the bureau doesn't issue as standard gear?
Chris: Dixie, my assignments -- they take me to hell and all over creation, and I don't think that it would be fair of me to subject a wife and kids to a life like that.
Dixie: Well, I'm pretty sure not all agents are alone.
Chris: Yeah, well, I'll go check the yard again.

Tad: Is that it? Is that all you've got?
Dixie: Is this going to end ugly?
J.R.: Not if Tad doesn't give up.
Tad: You want me to concede? Never. I'm not losing. Is that it? Is that all you got?
Dixie: Ah! Careful. You guys -- hey, hey, don't you even think about it. As your mother I would smoosh you.

Ryan: Do you even want to stay on my yacht?
Mia: Your yacht?
Ryan: Well, you don't think Adam Chandler would let you stay here, do you?
Mia: You know what? I know what I know, all right? You're all about Liza. But I guess that's what happens when you sleep together.
Ryan: One more word about my personal life --
Mia: Fine. Fine. But don't tell me to cut Liza some slack, ok? She called me a money-grubbing opportunist, and she started to say things about my mom. My mom's not even here to defend herself. It makes me so mad that I just want to throw something or break something.
Ryan: Hey, hey, hey, wait. Hold on, slow down for a second. What's up with you? Where did you learn how to fight?
Mia: My uncle taught me when I was growing up.
Ryan: Your uncle just decided that you should know how to fight?
Mia: No, he had a gym. He trained boxers. I liked it. I wanted to learn. I don't know. I was good at it.
Ryan: Hey, if you don't mind, I don't want to be at the end of another one of your right jabs. I'm serious. You don't want to do this. I'm pretty fast for a big guy
Mia: Whoa -- oh, yeah?
Ryan: Yeah.
Mia: Yeah? How fast are you? Ooh --
Ryan: Pretty fast.
Mia: Come on, let's go. Come on. Come on.
Ryan: I'm serious. I don't like unfair fights, all right?
Mia: It's not going to be unfair, I don't think.
Ryan: Oh, I think it is. I think it is. Look at you. You're getting a little rusty, huh?
Mia: Rusty? Well, you son of a --

[Mia swings at Ryan, he ducks and Mia hits Liza]

Ryan: Hey, hey, Liza! What -- you ok? What are you doing here?
Liza: I came here for blood.
Mia: Well, you want a piece of me? Come on, you pillow queen. Go right ahead, come on!
Liza: What did you call me, you sick, twisted, poor excuse for a human being?
Ryan: Hey, hey! Please, please. Please take this ashore, ok, to some biker bar or something.
Mia: No, seriously, come on. Come on, you little wench.
Liza: I said I want your blood.
Mia: I heard what you said.
Ryan: Is anybody listening to me?
Liza: I said I want your blood for a blood test, Mia.
Mia: What?
Liza: I know what's true, but I need proof to ease my mother's mind. I want a blood test for your DNA. Never thought of that, did you?
Mia: I don't owe you anything.
Liza: You're not my father's daughter, you're not my sister. You're just a liar and a conniver with a plan. Well, you know what? You picked the wrong woman to try and con, Honey.
Mia: I don't owe you or your mother anything. And I certainly don't owe you my blood.
Liza: You're a liar.
Mia: I'm not a liar!
Liza: You're a money-grubbing liar!
Mia: Ryan, let me go. I'm going to kill her!
Liza: You know what? I'll pay you for your blood. I'll pay you $50,000 for your blood.
Mia: Oh, my God.
Liza: It's a small price to pay to get you out of my life.
Mia: Oh, yeah, all right. So this is what it's about. It's about money, right? It's what you do -- you just pay people off so that you can sleep on your nice linen bed at night. You have no idea what's going on in the real world. You're all alike. And you can kiss my --
Ryan: Mia, Mia! Mia, let it go!
Mia: I can't. Because I know who I am!
Liza: You're a coward is what you are.

Ryan: Liza, can I ask you something?
Liza: Yes!
Ryan: What the hell is wrong with you?

Dixie: Oh, James, it seems that your father is a bottomless pit. Let's go see what else we can feed him. Hmm?
Tad: So, what's the story? You ready for soccer camp?
J.R.: Yeah, I guess. I think I just kind of feel bad.
Tad: Why?
J.R.: Well, because we're here alone without you, all because I decided to hang out with the wrong kids. And you're hiding out somewhere and we're supposed to pretend like we don't even know where you are. And Mom has to send me away to some soccer camp --
Tad: Wait. She's not sending you away. You were going to go to camp anyways, right? Right?
J.R.: Yeah. Just -- I guess it feels different.
Tad: Yeah, well, I guess everything feels different lately. But we got to keep the faith. You know? We got no choice. Just got to believe that everything happens for a reason and you met the people you were supposed to, and that even that is part of a larger scheme that you and I have got absolutely no control over.
J.R.: So what are you saying? Are you saying that it was a good thing that I ran into drugs and --
Tad: No, I'm not. I wish that had never happened. But once it did, that opened up a lot of other things. I mean, now we got Chris and his staff trying to nail the people who brought the drugs into town in the first place, the people that mess with kids like you.
J.R.: I knew better. It's just -- I mean, it's not like you guys didn't talk to me about it.
Tad: You know, J.R., You and I may not be blood relation, but we certainly are a lot alike.
J.R.: You really think so?
Tad: Oh, yeah. I know so. People warn me all the time. Your mother, my parents, my friends. And most of the time it doesn't do a damn bit of good. I hate to say it, but I just insist on doing things my own way, you know? I need to find out what I need to find out on my own terms, not on somebody else's. And unfortunately, that gets me into trouble. Got you into trouble, too.
J.R.: Yeah. I mean, I definitely hurt a lot of people.
Tad: You think you can make me a promise?
J.R.: Sure.
Tad: Ok. You remember when this whole thing started and you thought part of the problem was you didn't fit in anywhere? Remember? Well, if I was to tell you that you do and that you always will, would you believe me?
J.R.: I guess.
Tad: I mean it. I want you to promise me while you're at soccer camp, you try to believe in yourself. Whenever you can. I mean, if a while from now some mindless jock comes up to you and starts giving you a hard time about, you know, whatever -- it's his problem, not yours. You got nothing to prove. You're just fine. You do what you do best. You play soccer and run them into the ground, you know? Forget about the rest of it.
J.R.: I can try.
Tad: Especially if they're older kids, you know? Being older doesn't necessarily mean more mature, cooler. I mean, look at me. I've been around since the planet was young, and I am anything but cool.
J.R.: Nah, you're pretty cool. I mean, sometimes.
Tad: Come on.
J.R.: I'll be ok, Tad.
Tad: Good.

Anna: I can't talk about this.
Edmund: Yes, you can.
Anna: No. Actually, I can't.
Edmund: Anna, don't put me in this position.
Anna: I'm not putting you in any position. Think about it.
Edmund: I'm thinking about it.
Anna: If you know nothing, you're not in any position. Right?
Edmund: You want to make me the heavy in this?
Anna: You were at the police station. You saw the way that pig warren Dunn and the police commissioner were acting. They were not giving Gabriel the benefit of the doubt. Or Rosa, for that matter. It was an unfair attack on someone who is so ill-equipped to deal with these kinds of things. I have to protect my brother.
Edmund: Yeah?
Anna: I will. Edmund: Yeah, I know, I know. Anna, you know me, all right?
Anna: Yes, I do, so I'm trusting that you will hear this.
Edmund: "Hear this"? Rosa is a baby, ok? She is also my wife's sister. Very sheltered. She's not going to make a good runaway.
Anna: You think she's going to do better in prison?
Edmund: Ok. All right, listen to me. Listen to me. There's cops out there looking for them right now, ok? Some of them are rookies, some are scared, some are very -- some are not very well trained. And they're out there in a threatening situation with guns. Am I making myself clear?
Anna: Don't do this.
Edmund: No, Anna, don't do this to me. You've got to listen to me. Your brother is a very reactive young man. Ok? Now, if he feels threatened, if he -- if he lashes out and one of those cops is there with a nervous trigger finger and just makes a split-second decision -- boom! -- There's another tragedy in this family. And, Anna, this house has had enough bloodshed to last a lifetime, don't you think? Do you want to risk another Gillian? I don't. Take me to them. Come on, Anna. Just take me, and I will just go with you. We'll go to the police, and I swear to God I will do everything in my power to get them free.

Rosa: Gabriel, no. We promised your sister.
Gabriel: Look, we've got to go, Rosa. There's no way we can stay here and stay hidden. Look, what if something happened to Anna? What if she was followed?
Rosa: Come on, that is not what this is about, and you know it.
Gabriel: I'm trying to keep us safe.
Rosa: You're also trying to run away from the one person who's trying to help you.
Gabriel: What is that supposed to mean? Look, why are you doing this to me?
Rosa: Gabriel, you don't trust your own sister?
Gabriel: How can I?
Rosa: How can you not?
Gabriel: These are our lives, Rosa. If the police come back, they're going to put us in jail for a very long time.
Rosa: No, no. Your sister said that she would help us, that she --
Gabriel: I know what my sister said, but what if she can't?
Rosa: Gabriel, she's family. She's going to do everything to help us.
Gabriel: Look, I've never had family.
Rosa: Well, don't look now, but you've just inherited one. Look, Gabriel, I know that this must be hard for you to take in the fact that people care so much. But they do. That's what families do. It's about blood and loyalty.
Gabriel: Is yours like that?
Rosa: Did you get a load of my brother?
Gabriel: Rosa, it's just --
Rosa: Look, Gabriel, listen to me. Edmund was married to my sister. And when Edmund makes a promise -- or anybody that Edmund cares about, like your sister Anna, makes a promise -- you can trust it. Gabriel, that's family. I mean, that's what you've got now. If you take that for granted, then it's not going to be worth anything. Anna gave us her word, Gabriel, and we gave her ours. Can't you just trust that for all of us, just this once?

Anna: Edmund, you're not wrong. And just for the record, you're not the heavy here. You've been incredible to me. And I am very grateful. But I cannot do what you're asking. I do hear what you're saying about the risk.
Edmund: Then how can you keep it hidden knowing the risk? How?
Anna: I'll tell you how. I gave Gabriel my word. And I can tell that he wanted to believe in it. And if I go back, I will lose him forever. I don't think he would trust me or anyone ever again.
Edmund: And if he gets hurt?
Anna: I -- I don't have any honor or integrity if my word is meaningless. I don't. I know you're right, but I cannot renege on this. And as for them being safe, I would give my own life for them. I love my brother, and I know that Rosa is like a sister to you. So you have my word -- they will be safe. Promise me that you will stay away from them. And the mausoleum. I'm only telling you that so you know where not to look, because if you don't look there, you're not going to find them. And then you can stay true to your word as well. Please, Edmund?

Liza: Do you want to tell me why it is you're jumping all over me? I'm not the one who's going around town trying to pass myself off as somebody else's daughter.
Ryan: Liza --
Liza: Ugh!
Ryan: I know you're hurt, and I know Adam destroyed your faith and you don't want to believe that your father did the same thing, but --
Liza: No, no, he wouldn't. He wouldn't. And if you knew him, you would know that was true.
Ryan: Well, then why are you doing this, Liza? Why are offering Mia money for a blood sample?
Liza: Are you paying attention at all?
Ryan: What right do you have?
Liza: I have every right. Because the money isn't even important. I mean, she walked out of here with her tail between her legs because she knows she's lying. And she knows that a blood test is going to prove that she's lying about my father.
Ryan: How do you know that?
Liza: Well, you believe her?
Ryan: I know what she's going through.
Liza: Well, she's lying.
Ryan: Well, what if she isn't lying?
Liza: What do you mean, you know what she's going through?
Ryan: I -- I know what it's like, what it feels like to be cheated out of a family, Liza.

Liza: Oh, she's back. Plan B?
Mia: No, I just needed some time to cool down so I don't knock your teeth out.
Liza: Time to cool down to what?
Mia: You can test my blood if you want to, Liza. You can test me for DNA., RNA., Or whatever NA. You want. But on one condition.
Liza: Ooh. Can't wait to hear this.
Mia: 50 Grand's just not going to cover it.
Liza: Figures.
Mia: Pay me or live with the big question in your mind forever. It's your call, Liza. Let's play truth or dare.

[Doorbell rings]

Edmund: Hold on.

Derek: Edmund.
Edmund: Derek. Why do I get the feeling you're not here collecting for the Red Cross?
Derek: Edmund, I hate to do this, but I have a search warrant.
Edmund: What? Derek --
Derek: I have officers all over the property looking for Rosa and Gabriel. Now, you can make this easier and a whole lot safer on both of them if you just tell me if they're here and where.
Anna: This is so not right.
Derek: Well, Anna, the charges against them are real. Felony theft, escaped, aggravated assault, robbery --
Edmund: Derek, this is not the way to handle these kids.
Derek: And not only that, the DA has tacked on more charges tonight.
Anna: What?
Derek: The commissioner has gotten the DA to include attempted murder. Now, let's just get this over with before either one of them gets hurt.

Gabriel: Ok, we'll wait. But only until tomorrow. Then, I don't know.
Rosa: Yeah, ok.
Gabriel: Ok.
Rosa: I hope my mom's not scared. Know she has to be. She's probably praying right now.
Gabriel: We'll be ok here for the night.
Rosa: Yeah. Yeah. We're together, so, of course we will.

Liza: More cash. I can just --
Mia: 100 Grand, and you can test my blood to your little heart's content.
Liza: Well, that's beautiful. I get you what you want, and then you leave town before I can expose you for fraud.
Mia: Well, you can say what you want, but I sort of owe the money in a gambling debt. Do you know what's going to be the most fun is sticking around to see you twist in the wind when you find out that, surprise, I really am your sister.
Liza: I could strangle you.
Mia: Nah, because I'd break your neck first.
Liza: You know what? Make sure she doesn't steal anything while she's here.
Mia: What do you care?
Liza: My husband owns this boat, which sort of makes me the landlord, among other things.

Ryan: I warned you. You didn't listen, but I definitely warned you.
Mia: Oh, please. About her? Big freaking deal.
Ryan: Do you have any idea of the enemy you just made? Any idea at all?
Mia: Ooh, like I care.
Ryan: Well, you should care because if there's any truth at all to what --
Mia: There is.
Ryan: Even if there is, it's not going to make a difference to your big sister, Liza. You're dead meat, Cookie.

Dixie: I cannot believe you guys talked me into making Monkey Brains.
Jamie: I love Monkey Brains.
Tad: Profiterole of Pigeon Holler.
J.R. and Dixie: What?
Tad: Trust me, son. You can take your mom out of the South, but you can't take the South out of your mama.
Dixie: Well, who would want to?
J.R.: Ok, there.
Tad: Trick question. What is in these, anyway?
Dixie: Flour, sugar, cinnamon, lard.
Tad: Ah! The magic -- don't start a food fight.
J.R.: Food fight, man.
Tad: The magic ingredient. Got to love the lard, man.
Dixie: You guys are going to crash so bad in about five minutes.
Tad: It'll be so worth it, right guys? Come here. No, I don't want the one on the floor.
Dixie: Hey, watch it with the brains.

Tad: Ah, Agent Stamp. Care to partake of a Monkey Brain? You'll see God.
Chris: Sorry, but we got to go now, Tad. Sorry.
Dixie: Oh. Tad: Yeah. Well, I sincerely hope this is the last time you drag me out of anywhere. Score about a thousand goals for your old man, ok? I love you. Very much.
Jamie: I love you, too.
Tad: And you. Just, uh --
J.R.: Yeah, I will.
Tad: Yeah. And you, young lady. You keep a place warm for me, ok?
Dixie: I will. Don't do anything stupid, ok?
Tad: Not tonight.
Dixie: Thank you.
Tad: I promise. Ok.
Dixie: Don't you guys have to do some packing, right? Woo-woo.
J.R.: Come on, Jamie. I'll help you find your cleats. See you, Tad.
Jamie: Bye, Dad.
Tad: You guys have fun, all right?

Tad: I'm going to put you on notice.
Dixie: Hey, hey, come on. Don't start.
Tad: No, no. Seriously, enough is enough, all right? This has gone on long enough. Why don't you do me a favor? Do whatever you have to do. Just wrap this thing up so I can come home. I mean it, Chris. I want to be in my own home with my family. I want my life back. So make it happen. Please.
Dixie: See you soon, ok?
Chris: Wait a second.
Dixie: Hey, guys.

Edmund: I'll tell you where Gabriel and Rosa are hiding.
Anna: What are you doing?

Liza: Are you hiding her?

Chris: I was getting ready to chew you out. And now that I look at you, all I can say is, wow.
