ALL MY CHILDREN

FEBRUARY 21, 2001

Greenlee: Hi. Excuse me, I'd like to order some takeout.
Waitress: Certainly.
Greenlee: I'm not ready yet.

Greenlee: Hey.
Jake: Hey.
Greenlee: How's Gillian?
Jake: Oh, she's going to recover.
Greenlee: And the baby? Oh. Poor Gillian. How horrible, and Ryan, I would never wish this on him.
Jake: What the hell do you think Ryan's got to do with it?
Greenlee: Oh, my God. It was your baby.

Leo: I promise you the date to end all dates and this time I'm not going to be carried off by the highest bidder.
Laura: Yeah, promises, promises.
Leo: No, you mark my word.
Laura: No, I don't have to. Tina filled me in on how you dumped Greenlee. Sounds like you did it pretty publicly and painfully.
Leo: Yeah, you can get it on videotape if you want.
Laura: Yeah?
Leo: $29.95, If you're interested.
Laura: Yeah put me down for two or three.
Leo: Ok. What are we talking about her for? Tonight I only have eyes for you.
Laura: Want to bet?

Becca: Hurry up in there. Hey, hey, hey.
Man: I'll get on that right away.
Eli: Ok, thank you.
Becca: Ok, here are the cuts that Hayley made in the G block.
Eli: Great.
Becca: I think that'll help with the time problem.
Eli: Great, ok.
Becca: And our first guest is out of makeup and ready to go.
Eli: Ok, just make sure she's really comfortable in the greenroom and we'll be taping really soon, ok?
Becca: Ok, great. Ok, great.

Hayley: What time is it? Is everybody waiting for me?
Becca: No, no, no, no. How was your nap?
Hayley: Oh, shh. I feel guilty enough as it is, taking so many naps lately.
Becca: Well, I mean, if you need them.
Hayley: Yeah, well, they don't do any good. I still feel like a dead person when I wake up.
Becca: You know, what, after all --
Hayley: Please, don't say after all I've been through. It's over. And thanks to me, we all have an extra week of shows to tape.
Becca: Well, I was going to say, "after all, you're the star, so you can do whatever you want," but --
Hayley: Becca, I love the way you think. You're so good at this. I ought to get you a raise.

Mateo: Hello.
Hayley: Hello.
Mateo: Hi.
Becca: Hi.
Hayley: I'm very glad to see you, but I'm not ready for you yet.
Mateo: You're not?
Becca: Oh, just say when.
Hayley: Yeah, I'm ready, I mean, to shut tape. Yeah, any time.
Becca: Oh, ok.

Mateo: Hey.
Hayley: Hi. Sorry, we have two more segments that we have to make up for lost time on account of me not being myself lately.
Mateo: Are you sure you're up to this?
Hayley: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I think work is the best thing for me. And today's show is going to be great because our first guest is Dar.
Mateo: Dar? Dar who? Dar where?
Hayley: Dar, you know, psychic to the stars Dar.
Mateo: Oh.
Hayley: Oh.

Woman: I can tell you're a skeptic.
Mateo: Actually, no --
Hayley: Dar, I'd like for you to meet my --
Dar: Your husband,
Mateo, I know.
Hayley: And this is Dar.
Mateo: That's Dar.
Hayley: Yep.
Dar: Does this have any meaning for you -- the shipment of light beer you were expecting has just arrived.
Hayley: Mateo owns a restaurant. How did you know that?
Dar: There was a message for you back in the greenroom.
Mateo: Ah.
Dar: I saw you come into the studio. Becca told me who you were.
Mateo: Oh.
Becca: Gotcha.
Mateo: Thank you.
Hayley: There you go.
Mateo: Thank you.
Dar: Seriously, though, this has been a very active time for me psychically speaking. I have lots to discuss with you and your viewers.
Hayley: Oh, fantastic. Ell, why don't we go talk about it while we let them get set up? I'm very excited about the show.
Dar: Huh.
Hayley: What's the matter?
Dar: I'm not sure. Maybe this show will reveal a lot more than we thought.

Dixie: It's just there's nothing. There's no sign of him anywhere. I was sure he would be in the park!
David: He could still be off on his own somewhere.
Dixie: No. She has him. Leslie has him.
David: What are you looking for?
Dixie: A note. A note from Tad. You know, he's not here, his car is gone, the policeman outside doesn't know where he is. He wouldn't have just taken off like that. Where is he? Junior's gone and now Tad --
David: All right, all right, Dixie, Dixie, Dixie, relax, ok? Maybe Tad is gone is because he knows where Junior is.

Leo: So what? Who cares if she's here?
Laura: Or who Greenlee's with.
Leo: Look, if you want to go someplace else, we can. I'm halfway there.
Laura: No. You know, we'll have fun here.

Waitress: Two?
Leo: Yeah, please.

Laura: But just know that if a bidding war starts, I only have the $200 from last time.
Leo: Ha, ha. Well, good, so -- you know what? We are going Dutch. You know that, right?
Laura: No, we're not.
Leo: Yeah, we are.
Laura: No. But I'll give you a chance to win the money back, if you like.
Leo: Ooh, is this where the fun starts? What'd you have in mind?
Laura: Oh, just a friendly wager. So if this date is a success, you win, I give you $200. But if it's a disaster like last time, I win. You give me $200.
Leo: Gee, Laura, I hate to take your money like that.
Laura: No, relax. Because if you win the money, then I win, too.
Leo: All right. You're on. Shake.

Greenlee: I came to order some takeout. I'll leave you alone.
Jake: No, no, don't go. I mean, would you mind? I could use some company right now. You know, I want to have another one of these. And what'll you have?
Greenlee: Another one of those. Comforting people isn't really one of my talents.
Jake: Oh, you're just the person I need right now.
Greenlee: Really? Why?
Jake: Well, because pretty soon I imagine you'll start talking about yourself. I'd prefer that.
Greenlee: We can talk about whatever you want. You're being so brave. I mean, I don't know what I would do if I were a doctor and I couldn't save my own baby. I'm sorry. I am sorry. That was stupid.
Jake: No, no, no, you just -- that's exactly what I was sitting here thinking. It actually helps to hear it out loud. Thank you.
Greenlee: Here's to better days.

Laura: Thank you.
Leo: Thank you.
Waitress: Sure.

Hayley: Listen, are you going to stick around for the show?
Mateo: Nah, I think I'm going to check on that beer shipment.
Hayley: Ok. Listen, Becca, will you take Dar to the stage, get her ready?
Becca: Sure.
Hayley: Ok, thanks.

Mateo: Please don't let that woman weird you out.
Hayley: Oh, will you stop it?
Mateo: I'm serious.
Hayley: She's a Hollywood psychic. $5.95 A minute for entertainment purposes only.
Mateo: Ok.
Hayley: Ok.
Mateo: I'll be back in an hour. Bye.
Hayley: Bye.

Hayley: Listen, Dar, we're going to do two segments. In the first, just make general predictions, you know, and feel free to ad-lib. I'll follow along.
Dar: Oh, oh, after that Hollywood beat, I'd like to do something about the new first family. Just came to me this morning. Very juicy.
Hayley: Oh. Well, juice is good. We love juice here. Don't we?
Eli: Yeah.
Hayley: Yeah.
Dar: I'm sorry. I -- I've been getting interference since I came into the studio. It's very annoying. They know better than to cut in like this.
Hayley: They?
Dar: Them.
Hayley: Oh, them. Right.
Dar: I apologize, but it seems to be about you.
Hayley: Oh, no, it's not about me, I'm just the host.
Dar: It's someone from your past who wants you to admit the truth.
Hayley: Listen, Dar --
Dar: I'm seeing a form, a 90 degree angle -- an L It's the letter L.
Hayley: Uh, oh -- well, listen, anything that has to do with me, why don't we save for after the show?
Dar: Good idea. They have to learn to play by the rules.
Hayley: Right.

Eli: Here you go.
Hayley: Uh, Eli?
Eli: Yeah?
Hayley: Eli, listen, segment B, Dar is going to give you a reading about your future, ok?
Eli: Cool. Places everybody.
Hayley: Ok, he's giving me the signal. We're just about ready, so stand by.
Hayley: Listen, Dar, we're going to keep this nice and light, right?
Dar: I certainly hope so.

J.R.: Tad, are you ok? Tad! Wake up! Tad, come on, wake up, man!

Dixie: No, you're absolutely right, Tad wouldn't have gone off unless he'd gotten some sort of call, maybe some sort of lead about Junior, but then why didn't he --

[telephone rings]

David: Yes, Dr. Hayward. No, no, call Dr. Heineman. I'm not even on call this evening. I see. All right, I'll be there right away. It's an emergency. They need me.
Dixie: Of course they do. You go ahead.
David: Listen, why don't you come with me?
Dixie: No, I can't. I need to be here. Look, you go on, ok? I'm going to call Tad.
David: All right, look, I'm going to come back right away. All right?
Dixie: Ok.

[Telephone rings]

Dixie: Hello? Tad?
Leslie: No, Dixie. It's Leslie. What's wrong? You sound upset.
Dixie: Where is Junior?
Leslie: Oh, actually, that's why I'm calling. He's right here. I'll put him on.
Dixie: Junior? Junior?
J.R.'S voice: Mom? It's me. I'm with Leslie, but I'm ok, so don't worry about me.
Leslie: That's enough Junior. Such a brave young man you have, Dixie. You should be so proud.
Dixie: What are you doing to him?
Leslie: Oh, your son and I are having such a wonderful time together. And he'll be home very soon -- if you do exactly as you're told.

Eli: And five, four, three --

Hayley: Hi, everyone, I'm Hayley Santos. Thanks for catching "Wave." Today, we have one of our favorite guests on this show, the nationally known psychic, Dar. Welcome, Dar.
Dar: Good afternoon, Hayley. Good afternoon and good fortune to you all.
Hayley: Dar is here, of course, to fill us in on what's going on with some of our favorite Hollywood celebrities, but first, Dar, if you could tell the viewers at is going on with all of this craziness on Wall Street.
Dar: Ah.

[Dar sighs]

Hayley: Dar?
Dar: An L. All I can see is the letter L.
Hayley: Uh, well, what do you suppose that could mean?
Dar: Do you know someone name Lottie? Someone on the other side?
Hayley: No, I don't think I know anyone on any side named Lottie.
Dar: She's -- she's telling me about two young boys. Bright blue eyes, they're twins.
Hayley: Of course, my Uncle Stuart and my father. Lottie was their sister. She's --
Dar: She's nearby and she has a message for you, Hayley. She said that you don't have to be afraid. It's not like you to turn away from family.
Hayley: What -- is she talking about my mother?
Dar: No, no, this is about the future. She said that you should be happy with your new life. Does that have any meaning for you?
Hayley: No, I like my life. I -- I don't -- I don't want a new life.
Dar: Oh, no, not a new life, just new life. That's what your Aunt Lottie meant. Hayley, you're pregnant.

J.R.: Tad --
Tad: Get off!
J.R.: Tad, it's ok. It's ok.
Tad: Junior.
J.R.: We're up in an attic. Leslie brought me here.
Tad: Ah, son of a --
J.R.: She put a cloth over my face, and I passed out.
Tad: Shh, shh, shh, not so loud. Help me up. Are you ok?
J.R.: Yeah, I'm fine. She didn't hurt me.
Tad: Oh, son of a -- hmm.
J.R.: She taped me up and she said a lot of weird things and then she just -- she took off.
Tad: Are you sure?
J.R.: Yeah, yeah, yeah. She left a while back. I remember, I tried to get out and I heard you coming up the stairs and -- I hit you with that on the head.
Tad: Congratulations, Kid.
J.R.: I thought you were her. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Tad: You got a great aim. It's all right, it's all right. Just thank God you're ok. Oh, man --
J.R.: She's a nut job.
Tad: No kidding. That's why we got to help the police find her, put her away before she hurts somebody else.

Dixie: Leslie?
Leslie: There you are. I've been waiting for you.
Dixie: It took a while for the executive elevator to come all the way up here.
Leslie: Oh, good, you followed the instructions. I figured you'd have a set of Tad's keys. So do I.
Dixie: I followed your instructions exactly. Nobody knows that I'm here, not even the police. Now give me my son.
Leslie: Oh, Dixie, I never said that I'd give you your son now, did I? I said that J.R. Would be safe, and as far as I'm concerned, he will be. I'm sure that he will grow up to be the smartest, handsomest, richest man in America. Maybe he'll even sit in this chair someday as head of the Chandler empire.
Dixie: I'm not here to humor you. Where is Junior?
Leslie: He prefers J.R.
Dixie: Where is Junior?
Leslie: Please sit, Dixie. We're here to negotiate. And as you know in negotiations, everyone can't get everything that they want. Each side has to give up a little.
Dixie: All right. Let's negotiate.
Leslie: Now, what you want is very clear. You want Junior returned safe and sound. That's what you call a deal breaker. Are you with me so far?
Dixie: Yes.
Leslie: Ok, well, my deal breaker requires a little discussion.
Dixie: You want Tad.
Leslie: But our situation is a little different. That is to say, that you don't have Tad the way I have J.R. You can't hand him over to me, can you?
Dixie: You know, you've become very special to Tad. You've gotten under his skin.
Leslie: I'm glad you see that, Dixie.
Dixie: A wife is always afraid of the day that her husband's going to look at another woman that way.
Leslie: I'm not just any woman. This attraction started 20 years ago.
Dixie: Yes, exactly, which why if Tad wanted you, there would be nothing that I could do. And if you knew me, you would see that if Tad preferred you, I wouldn't want him.
Leslie: You know, we're actually starting to understand each other a little quicker than I had thought. So I guess what we have to figure out is what's next. What has to happen for Tad to choose me?
Dixie: Well, one way would be is if we could just go back a little, before things got all confusing.
Leslie: Go back a little?
Dixie: Yeah, let Tad see you in your normal, everyday life. Let him see how everybody in town admires and respects you. I mean, you can give Tad things that I can't.
Leslie: Oh, Dixie, don't sell yourself short. You're not just the wife, the love of Tad's life.
Dixie: But Tad doesn't want just a wife.
Leslie: I see the truth when it's in front of me. Ok? Now, in a lifetime of dreaming about Tad, I was always his one great love. Then I come back into town and there you are in my place as big as life.
Dixie: Ok. What is it you want me to do? Do you want me to just give Tad up? Do you want me to tell you that you can have him?
Leslie: That's not in your power. But you're actually getting closer to understanding my deal breaker.
Dixie: What is it?
Leslie: Tad has to be given the chance to choose me over you, but that isn't going to happen as long as you're around. So here's what has to happen in order for this negotiation to come to a successful conclusion -- if you want Junior to come out of this alive, you're going to have to die.

Dar: You're pregnant, Hayley. Lottie said you shouldn't deny it. You and Mateo are going to be very happy. Everything will turn out fine, eventually.
Hayley: Eventually? What does that mean?
Dar: They're gone.
Hayley: They're gone? They're gone? Do you know what? Let's -- let's cut it now. I've had enough, really. That's -- we're going to start from the top. Oh.
Eli: Hayley.
Dar: Are you all right?
Hayley: I'm ok. I'm all right.
Dar: Hayley.
Eli: Hayley? Hayley: Just -- just --

David: What's going on? Where's Mrs. Martin? And why aren't you outside guarding the house?
Officer: The lady asked me to keep watch on things inside while she took a nap. I cleared it with the chief.
David: A nap? In her state of mind?
Officer: She seemed all right to me.

[Telephone rings]

David: Martin residence.
Tad: Hayward, it's me. Put on Dixie.
David: She's upstairs resting.
Tad: Well, then go upstairs and get her and just put her on the damn phone.

J.R.: Dr. Hayward's at our house?
Tad: Yeah, he was helping us find you.
J.R.: We -- we got to get home. We can't leave him alone with her.
Tad: No, Junior --
J.R.: Come on, let's go!
Tad: Junior, wait a minute! You don't know the -- God! Junior! Junior, wait!

Dixie: All right, then. We understand each other. My life for Junior's.
Leslie: I know you have it in you to do the right thing.
Dixie: I would gladly give my life for my son's if need be. But what about you, Leslie? You kill me, you're going to go to jail.
Leslie: I'm not going to kill you. You're going to do it yourself. Why do you think I chose this place for our meeting? The top floor of a high office building? With a ready-made balcony, for a despairing wife who just learned that her husband doesn't love her.
Dixie: You might be able to convince a jury of that, but Tad will never believe you.
Leslie: You don't think so? "Oh, Tad. I didn't want this. Now you'll always doubt me. How can you ever love me now?" He'll feel sorry for me. You know how sentimental he can be. And once you're gone, I can wait. What's another 20 years?
Dixie: Kidnapping Junior? That'll come out. My way is best. Let's just stop it, ok?
Leslie: Who said I kidnapped anyone?
Dixie: Half the police are looking for Junior right now. When they find him, he'll tell them what you did.
Leslie: Yeah. Once I get Junior on the stand, I will prove that he is an angry, unstable young man who just made a vile accusation. After all, look who his parents are -- Adam Chandler and that crazy jumping lady.
Dixie: Ok. Maybe there's something that you can't guard against -- David. You cause my death and he is going to come after you with everything that he's got. He loves me.
Leslie: Oh, Honey. If you want to take that pleasant thought to your grave, be my guest.
Dixie: You can't fool him, Leslie. He knows what kind of person you are.
Leslie: Once you're gone, David will cut his losses. He knows I have all the evidence I need to destroy him.

David: Dixie's not in her bedroom! She's nowhere upstairs! Dixie? Dixie! She's gone. She's gone!

Dixie: What evidence do you have against David?
Leslie: Let's not get into that, Dixie. I'd rather you meet your fate with a good opinion of your lover.
Dixie: You know, you've made a big mistake here. Something could go wrong. Too many people know the truth.
Leslie: I suppose so. But it's the only way I could think of to be with Tad. I'm willing to have everything explode in my face if it means I have a chance to be with Tad.
Dixie: It's not too late. All I want is Junior. You just tell me where he is, everything can be forgotten.
Leslie: It is too late, Dixie. You're going over that balcony. The only question is, are you going to make me kill Junior before you go or will you do it willingly and spare your son's life?
Dixie: You can have everything you want and no one has to get hurt.
Leslie: Do you really think that you can come up with the magic words to make all of this go away? This is the beginning of my life with Tad. Now I'm going to dial the number. When they hear it ring, Junior will die. That means you have to jump before I finish. It's a local number, Dixie. You only have seven digits.

[Leslie dials the first number]
[second number]
[third number]
[fourth number]
[fifth number]
[sixth number]

Dixie: All right, stop. I'll jump. ..

Laura: So my mom just had to get to the crime scene. So she made me pretend like I was blind, so I go over and I talk to the cop so she can sneak behind me and jump over the fence. So -- what, you just want to call it a night and pay up?
Leo: No, no -- no. I -- I wasn't even thinking of Greenlee, honest. It's just that your story reminded me of one of the scams my mother put me up to when I was young and stupid. That's all.
Laura: Yeah?
Leo: Yeah.
Laura: What was the scam?
Leo: You don't want to know. Laura: What, you sure you don't want to tell me?

Greenlee: So Gillian just expected you to give her a divorce? That woman can give me selfish lessons.
Jake: No. I'm the selfish one because I wanted that baby. And I risked Gillian's life trying to save it.
Greenlee: How did you risk her life?
Jake: Gillian should've gone straight to the OR when they brought her into the hospital. But I waited because of the baby. And Gillian almost died because I hesitated.
Greenlee: But she didn't, and she's planned out a pretty nice life for herself. So should you.
Jake: I can't face going back to the hospital.
Greenlee: You don't mean just tonight, do you?
Jake: I'm not going back. I quit my job there.
Greenlee: So let me get this straight -- the last time Gillian messed with you, you ended up in a war zone. Well, I guess I get that. You do things like that when you're in love, but if Gillian makes you give up medicine now? That's not being in love. That's being a fool.

Hayley: No, I'm fine. I'm fine now.
Becca: No, just take some water.
Dar: I'm sorry, dear, if the information was too much to take. I really thought it would be welcome.
Hayley: You know, Dar, I appreciate your communication skills, but if it's all the same right now, I'd rather not talk about it.
Dar: Hayley, dear, I've said all I needed to say. It'll be up to you to tell me if your aunt Lottie was playing a trick. Sometimes they do that, you know. Then guess who gets in trouble -- Dar does.
Hayley: I don't think my Aunt Lottie would play a trick like that. I mean --

Mateo: Hey. What happened? Did she faint?
Hayley: Oh, no!
Man: Yes, she did.
Hayley: Who called you? I'm fine.
Becca: I called him. I'm sorry if I overreacted, but you fainted.
Hayley: I'm fine.
Mateo: What happened? What's wrong?
Hayley: You know, I don't think anything is wrong. I -- I have a feeling that something might be very, very right.

Officer: Look, she just went upstairs, and I've been -- well, I ran out to the squad car for a second --
David: Oh, gee!
Officer: To call headquarters. I had to check in with the chief.
David: Do you understand what's happened here? She left or somebody came and took her away! You were supposed to be watching her, you idiot!
Officer: I don't think you want to attack a police officer, doctor. Now just calm down, ok? We'll find her.
David: Yeah, like you've found her son, right?
Officer: I'm going to call the station, let them know she's missing.
David: Yeah, why don't you do that!

David: Oh - Tad? Tad? Hello, Tad! Oh, where the hell are you, Tad? Wait a minute. Who called? Ok, good.

[David dials]

Woman: You've reached a private number at Chandler Enterprises. If you know your party's extension, you may dial it now.

David: Chandler Enterprises.

David's voice: What are you going to do, Leslie?
Leslie's voice: Oh. You'll see. I believe in payback. Somebody else is going to take the fall for this -- a long, long fall.

David: No.

Leslie: This is best. For your sake, you should do it quickly and not think about it too much.
Dixie: Let me see Junior.
Leslie: Dixie, please. We had an agreement.
Dixie: I know, I know. I'm sorry. I just need to see him. I just need to make sure that he's all right.
Leslie: The boy is fine. I explained my plan to you.
Dixie: And what, do you just expect me to believe you?
Leslie: How does it help me if you both die? That's just more explanations I have to give. I'm not going to hurt Junior unless I have to -- unless you make me.
Dixie: What are you saying? Where is he? How are you keeping him prisoner?
Leslie: Junior is being taken care of.
Dixie: What does that mean? What have you done to him?
Leslie: Nothing -- yet. Now, move.
One --
[Leslie dials]

Leslie: Two --
[Leslie dials]

Leslie: Three.
[Leslie dials]

Dixie: No!
Dixie: How's this for negotiations, Leslie? You give me back my son or I'm pushing you over this balcony!

Leo: I can't tell you about my mother's scams, Laura. Our date would be ruined and I'd be out 200 bucks.
Laura: You can be honest with me, you know.
Leo: All right. I won't go into details, but -- ahem -- well, it involves rolling up the "Mona Lisa" and getting it through customs in a pretty uncomfortable hiding place, if you know what I'm saying.
Laura: Oh!

Jake: You have shown me no mercy tonight, that's for sure.
Greenlee: You know I'm right, Jake. You have let Gillian wipe the floor with you ever since you got back from Chechnya. I mean, it's fun to be a martyr every now and then, but you have it tattooed on your forehead. You need to show yourself a good time.
Jake: Really?
Greenlee: You know what? I could use some fun, too. Come on. Let's find some.
Jake: No. No, no, no, not tonight.
Greenlee: Oh, tonight is the perfect night.
Jake: No.
Greenlee: Come on. Let me show you the art of wallowing in self-indulgence.
Jake: Greenlee, Greenlee, Greenlee -- lead the way.

Laura: My mom's pulling an all-nighter at "Tempo."
Leo: Let's get out of here. I just want to be alone with you, just the two of us.
Laura: That won't help, Leo.
Leo: Won't help what?
Laura: It won't help you stop thinking about Greenlee with Jake Martin.
Leo: I'm sorry.
Laura: Yeah. So am I, Leo.

Hayley: I'm sorry that I freaked out, everyone. I'm sorry. I apologize.
Mateo: What's going on?
Dar: Maybe you need some time alone with your husband.
Hayley and Mateo: Yeah.
Hayley: That's probably a good idea. Eli, could you clear the set, please?
Eli: Yeah. All right, everybody, you heard Hayley. Come back in 30 minutes.

Mateo: Oh, no. What's wrong? Please, tell me. What --
Hayley: We've got a lot of work to do.
Mateo: You kissed me. And --
Hayley: I'm going to have to get all those books and read them because I don't know anything.
Mateo: Yeah, I don't know anything, either. Please tell me what's going on.
Hayley: Mateo, while -- while we were taping the show --
Mateo: Mm-hmm.
Hayley: Dar the psychic told me I was pregnant.
Mateo: Oh, Dar-- the psychic? The psychic told you you're pregnant? And you believed her? What, did she give you an exam? Did she have an ultrasound machine in her purse or something?
Hayley: What? I'm alone for five minutes, you don't think I know what I'm talking about?
Mateo: You just told me no. You told me yourself that she charges by the hour, that she's, you know, this type of Hollywood psychic that -- she's on TV. Maybe she's trying to do a little self-promotion.
Hayley: By being proved wrong on national television? She couldn't know all the trouble we had getting pregnant.
Mateo: She knew about that? Oh! Now she reads minds, huh?
Hayley: I know it's weird, Mateo.
Mateo: And then you -- you, I told you not to let her get you weirded out and you fainted. Come on, what are you doing?
Hayley: No -- Mateo, it -- she -- she said the message came from my aunt Lottie, my Uncle Stuart's and my dad's sister, Lottie -- you know, the one they love so much.
Mateo: Baby, you know how -- there's so many ways she could have found out who your Aunt Lottie was.
Hayley: No!
Mateo: I mean, come on.
Hayley: But she couldn't know what -- what my dad and Uncle have said about her, how she was like the glue of the family. She held them all together.
Mateo: Baby? Listen. You're -- I just don't want you to get your hopes up too high right now.
Hayley: It's more than that.
Mateo: You just went through -- you went through a lot. You went through a lot, and maybe you're just extra susceptible to these type of things, people --
Hayley: No, it's more than that, Mateo. I mean, remember you were teasing me about all the strange food I've been eating --
Mateo: I was teasing you. I didn't think it was that strange.
Hayley: It's more than that. I've been having this feeling, but I just -- I didn't want to let myself believe that it could possibly be true.
Mateo: Ok. All right, let's not talk about Dar anymore. Forget her. Do you think you're pregnant? Yeah? Oh, my God! Oh!

[Mateo laughs]

J.R.: Mom?
Tad: Dixie?
J.R.: Mom?
Tad: Honey!
Officer: Mr. Martin, you found your son.
Tad: Yeah. And surprise, surprise, he had been kidnapped by Leslie Coulson.
Officer: Well, how did you free him? I mean, where is she?
Tad: I don't know, but we better find her quickly because she had him in an attic.
J.R.: Where's my mother?
Tad: Well, go ahead, answer him. Where is she?
Officer: We don't know. She said she was going to take a nap, and then Dr. Hayward went upstairs and found she was missing, so --
Tad: She's with Leslie. Oh, my God. Leslie has her.

Dixie: I am sick of trying to reason with you, Leslie. Now you tell me where my son is or I swear I will push you over. Oh!

[Dixie screams]

Leslie: I'm finally getting some use out of this mace!
Dixie: Oh!
Leslie: That's it. You're going over.
David: Dixie!

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Hayley: Show me. Show -- show me.

Adam: I need you to switch places with me. Skye called from Llanview.

J.R.: Why isn't Hayward answering his phone?

Leslie: You had your chance, and you blew it, David.
