Greenlee: Oh, yes.
Oh! Yes.
Oh.
Jake: Are you serious?
Greenlee: Oh, I am very
serious about massage.
Claire, that is to die.
Jake: Yeah, right.
That might be an option.
Greenlee: Justin,
is he a little tight?
Justin: That's one way
of putting it.
Greenlee: Jake, you have
to relax.
Justin's very good at what
he does.
Let him open up your chakras
and release the endorphins.
Jake: Do you even hear
yourself?
Greenlee: Totally.
Oh. Oh. Yeah. Yeah.
Right there. Oh.
Jake: Oh.
You know, Greenlee, I don't
think I知 cut out for this.
Ow.
Greenlee: Jake, if anyone
needs a massage tonight,
it's you.
Justin, do that thing to him
where you massage his organs.
Jake: Don't even think about
it, Justin.
Greenlee: Are you going to be
fighting me all night, Jake?
You're really messing
with my Zen over here.
Jake: What, do you have
a little book inside your towel
with completely unconnected
20th-century buzzwords?
Greenlee: Oh, that's it, yes.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Jake: Oh.
I'm telling you right now,
this is a mistake, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Why?
You enjoy being miserable?
Jake: No, no, I enjoy --
I enjoy having my clothes
on when I知 trying to solve
my troubles, that's all.
[Justin and Claire moan]
Jake: Why are you people
moaning?
Greenlee: You, you big baby.
Jake: You know, I never
should have let you talk me
into this.
There's so many things I could
be doing right now.
I could be reading --
lot of things.
I could be home cleaning out
my garage, doing something right
now.
Greenlee: Oh, please.
Send the "wambulance."
Jake: Oh, yeah, yeah.
You're pretty funny, aren't you?
Greenlee: I'm pretty,
I知 funny, and I am so happy
right now.
Jake: So is this,
like, the way that you deal
with reality?
Is this the way you pretend that
the world isn't a problem,
that you池e the sun
and the whole universe must
center and revolve and orbit
around you?
Greenlee: You are
a rip-roaring good time,
Jake Martin.
Jake: Yeah?
Well, believe me, I can be.
Greenlee: I rescued
you from a pretty dreary pity
party tonight.
The least you can do is lean
into this and feel the benefits
of body work on the mind
and the soul.
Jake: Oh.
Greenlee: You're a lost
cause.
Jake: Why?
Greenlee: You're making
Justin break out in a flop
sweat, you're so tight.
Jake: Fine. Fine, all right?
Justin, just massage away.
I'm just relaxed as hell right
now.
Have at it, man.
Dig in.
Ow!
Oh, gosh!
Oh, man, I was just kidding.
Oh -- oh!
Dr. Clader: But Gillian is
doing just fine.
Ryan: You know -- ahem --
what she's going to ask when
she wakes up --
Dr. Clader: Yes?
Ryan: Is she strong enough
to hear it?
Dr. Clader: Ryan,
Gillian still has one healthy
fallopian tube.
Ryan: Right.
Right, but that means that
her chances of getting pregnant
just got cut in half, right?
Dr. Clader: Yes.
Ryan: Do you think that it
could happen again?
Dr. Clader: Another ectopic?
I suppose so, yes.
Some women are more prone
to them.
But we'll keep an eye on her,
watch her very carefully when
the time comes.
And she shouldn't even consider
getting pregnant again
for at least three months.
Ryan: All right.
I'd like to tell her.
I don't want her guessing.
Dr. Clader: I'll be right
here.
I'm sure she'll have questions.
Ryan: Thank you.
Dr. Clader: Ryan?
You did well to get her here.
Don't beat yourself up about
something that is beyond
your control, hmm?
Ok?
Ryan: Thank you.
Dr. Clader: Go see her.
Ryan: Hey.
Hey, my beautiful princess.
Gillian: Hey.
You were at the doctor a long
time.
Ryan: You were awake.
Gillian: Yeah, sort of.
Did you talk to him?
What did he say?
Ryan: He said that you're
going to be fine.
Gillian: Did he
say anything about me having
a baby?
Ryan: Yes.
He said that it's a no-go
for at least three months.
Gillian: That's all he said?
Ryan: No, he said other
stuff -- about what happened
and about how it will affect
you, and --
Gillian: Did he say I could
get pregnant again?
Leslie: David!
David, please help me up!
David: You stabbed me,
remember?
I can't hold on!
Leslie: David, please!
David: I can barely feel
my arm!
Leslie: Oh, my God!
David, please!
Please don't let me fall!
Please!
Oh, God, give me your other
hand!
Give me your other hand!
Oh, David, no!
David!
No, David --
no!
Tad: Oh, my God.
Tad: What happened?
David: Leslie tried to kill
Dixie and me.
Dixie: David?
Tad: Honey, I知 here.
Are you Ok?
Are you all right?
What did you do to her?
David: Oh, for crying out
loud, Tad!
She tried to kill both of us!
Dixie: David, are you Ok?
David: Yeah.
Dixie: Where is she?
David: I'm right here,
I知 right here.
I'm Ok.
And Leslie痴 gone, Dixie.
Tad: What happened?
What's wrong with her eyes?
David: Leslie maced
her before she threw her over
the railing.
Tad: It's Ok, baby.
It's all right.
It's all right, it's all right.
Leslie can't hurt you anymore.
You're safe.
You're Ok.
Come on, I知 going to get
you out of here, all right?
Can you sit up?
Come on, Sweetie.
In the meantime, why don't
you see if you can deal
with her.
David: Leslie?
Tad: You are a doctor,
aren't you?
David: I'm more concerned
about Dixie being in shock right
now.
Dixie, here, come on.
I want to get you to
the hospital, run some tests,
just in case.
Come on.
[Sirens]
David: That was fast.
Tad: Yeah.
I had the cop at our house call
for backup.
David: Good.
Well, then you take care of it.
I'm taking her in for tests.
Tad: The hell you are.
Get away from my wife.
Dixie: Tad, where's Junior?
Tad: He's Ok.
Dixie: Is he Ok?
Tad: He's fine, sweetheart.
Dixie: He's Ok?
Tad: Junior's just fine,
I promise you, Ok?
Dixie: Ok.
Tad: Listen to me,
listen to me.
I'm going to take you
to the hospital, Ok?
We're going to call Dad.
Junior will meet us there.
Come on.
David: You might want to go
out back.
The body.
Ryan: So Dr. Clader said that
you have one fallopian tube
left -- a healthy one, and there
is no reason whatsoever that
you couldn't get pregnant again.
Gillian: But it's going to be
much harder with just one.
Ryan: Yeah -- well,
not harder, just --
you have half the chance
of getting pregnant that you did
before.
But you're healthy and you're
young, and I am betting that
that one you have left is going
to give us a baby as soon
as we want one.
Hey, hey, hey.
Gillian, listen.
Clader said in no way
that you couldn't or
you wouldn't be able to get
pregnant again.
Gillian: This is my fault.
All of it.
Ryan: We've talked about
this.
Don't say that.
We've talked about this.
An ectopic pregnancy is never
viable.
This didn't happen because
you didn't come and see
the doctors.
There's nothing you could have
done to save this baby, Ok?
Gillian: I know that, Ryan.
Ryan: Well, then don't say
it's your fault.
Please.
Gillian: Well, maybe not
physical, -- I don't know,
maybe it was my karma
because I didn't want this baby
badly enough, or --
I never felt pregnant.
Maybe it's my punishment
for taking something so real
so lightly.
Ryan: What are you talking
about?
You never took this pregnancy
lightly.
Gillian: I didn't even want
to tell you I was pregnant when
I found out.
You'd have thought maybe it was
Jake痴 baby.
I wasn't even sure
if I wanted it
until I almost --
well, till I lost the baby.
Ryan: That's not true
you know that's not true.
This is not one of those things
that happens for a reason,
Gillian.
Listen to me.
When we're ready,
we're going to have a baby.
We're going to have a whole
family, and I don't care how it
happens, and I know you don't
care, either.
We're going to have it
because we want it and
because we love each other, Ok?
Gillian: I can't believe you.
Ryan: Why?
Gillian: I can't believe how
lucky I am to have you.
I love you so much.
Edmund: That's beautiful.
That is a museum-quality
sculpture.
And this --
did you draw that?
Maddie: Yeah.
Edmund: Is that a fairy?
Is that a fairy like the ones
Alex used to tell?
Maddie: Yeah.
Edmund: Yeah?
Do you want me to give it
to Alex?
Maddie: Yes.
Edmund: Ok, I will.
I will.
But you know, she went on a long
trip, and I don't know when
she's going to be back.
But I promise you,
as soon as she comes back,
we're going to give her this
picture, Ok?
Maddie: Ok.
[Telephone rings]
Sam: I'll get it.
Sam: Hello?
Alex.
Edmund: Sammy, who are
you talking to?
Sam: Alex.
Edmund: Sammy?
Sammy, I got to talk
on the phone right now, Ok?
Sam: Bye.
Edmund: You know,
there's cookies --
there's oatmeal cookies.
Can you smell them?
Peggy's making them.
Sammy -- Sammy?
Take your sister upstairs, Ok?
Have some cookies and then get
ready for bed, Ok?
Edmund: Hello?
Edmund: Who the hell is this?
Dimitri: Hello, you two.
Ryan: Hi.
Gillian: Hi.
Dimitri: Hey, I can come back
later if you're not up --
Gillian: No, no, no.
Ryan: No, no.
Gillian: Stay. Come in.
Ryan: Come in, come in.
Dimitri: Ok.
You look wonderful!
Ryan: That's what I keep
telling her.
Gillian: Oh, liars,
you -- both of you.
Dimitri: No! No, no.
I stopped by last night
and you were sleeping,
and I think you look 100% better
than you did then.
Gillian: Oh, thank you.
Thanks for coming, Dimitri.
Dimitri: Well, we were very
worried about you.
We also knew that Ryan was
taking good care of you.
Gillian: Yeah, he's been
amazing.
Dimitri: So, something came
by the house that I thought
might help both of you sleep
a little better tonight.
Now, I知 sorry I opened it.
My messenger service delivered
it, and I opened it before
I realized it was addressed
to you.
Take a look inside.
Dimitri: I thought it might
help.
Gillian: It's my divorce
papers.
He signed them after all.
Greenlee: Oh, yeah.
Right there.
Right there, right there,
right there.
Ah. Ah. Ah.
Jake: I don't even know how
you do that.
Greenlee: Do what?
Enjoy myself?
Jake: No, just all this
emoting and everything you're
doing.
Greenlee: I feel good,
I say so.
What do you do, write
in your journal?
Jake: Ha-ha.
Oh, yeah -- like, you think
you really know me,
but you don't.
Greenlee: Wrong.
Jake: Not wrong.
Greenlee: Yes, wrong.
You spend every single waking
moment of your life trying
to live up to some ideal that
no one except you has set
for yourself, and then you spend
the rest of your time feeling
disappointed because there is
no way you could live up
to your own high expectations.
Jake: All right, all right.
You know what?
That's enough.
I liked it much better when
you were moaning.
It was much more interesting.
Greenlee: Why can't you just
go with this, Jake?
I mean, what better --
Jake: Ow.
Greenlee: Gift is there
to give yourself?
Jake: Ah.
A pizza and a video.
Greenlee: Oh, man.
You really do need my help.
He's not relaxing, is he,
Justin?
Justin: Nope, not a bit.
Jake: This is just such a --
the most self-indulgent waste
of time I have ever seen.
Greenlee: You were having
a rotten day before I brought
you here.
Admit it.
Jake: Thanks to you,
I知 having a rotten night.
Greenlee: Oh! Do you always whine this much?
Jake: Ok.
Don't you even go there,
Greenlee, all right?
I'm trying to relax over here.
Justin: Breathing might help.
[Greenlee laughs]
Greenlee: Man, Jake.
You need a week of these.
Jake: Oh.
Greenlee: You're going
to give yourself an aneurysm
if you're not careful, doctor.
What do you tell your patients
who have too much stress?
Jake: Diet -- ow --
and exercise.
Jake: Well, frankly,
this never even occurred
to me.
Greenlee: Wait a minute.
How many massages have you had,
like, ever?
Jake: Including this
one here?
One.
Justin: Oh.
Greenlee: Oh, my
you have a lot to learn about
the good life.
You get a massage, you get
in the hot tub, you take a cold
shower, you get a facial,
a manicure --
Jake: This is just --
this is just such a consummate
waste of time, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Sitting alone
at a bar feeling sorry
for yourself isn't a "consumee"
waste of time?
Jake: Oh, "consumee" -- ow!
That hurt!
Do you mind?
Justin: Sorry.
Greenlee: You know what
your problem is, Jake?
You don't trust anyone.
Jake: What?
Greenlee: Claire,
Justin, let me deal with this
Yahoo by myself, Ok?
He's in much deeper than
I thought.
Jake: Oh, Yahoo, huh?
And deeper than what,
Greenlee, may I ask?
Greenlee: Get up.
Jake: What?
Greenlee: Just get up, Jake.
Oh, don't worry.
I won't peek.
Jake: Oh!
Oh, my gosh.
Greenlee: Now lie down
on the floor.
Jake: Excuse me?
Greenlee: Face down, butt up.
Now.
Jake: Do I look like I want
to lie down on the floor to you?
Greenlee: You look like
you need a big bowl of bran
flakes, but this will have
to do.
Now, lie down so I can walk all
over you.
Jake: Well, you wouldn't be
the first.
Greenlee: Ha! See?
You can be funny if you try.
Now, lie down.
I won't hurt you.
Jake: No, what is this?
I mean, is this some kind
of a mating -- bizarre mating
ritual of yours?
Greenlee: Oh, yeah.
That's it, Jake.
I want you.
Now, come on.
Just do it.
Look, I don't have my pumps on,
for Pete痴 sake.
Jake: All right, listen.
Forget it, forget it.
I give in.
I give in.
Just put something down on this
floor.
Don't know what kind of people
hang out in these places.
Oh! My God.
This can't be good, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Now, try and relax,
Ok?
Jake: I'm relaxed!
Greenlee: Oh, yeah.
And trust me, please.
Jake: Oh -- ow!
Greenlee: Feels good,
doesn't it?
Jake: You got to be kidding.
Is this supposed to feel good?
Greenlee: Wait till I get
to your shoulder blades.
You'll see God.
Jake: Oh, God, oh!
Greenlee: There you go.
Jake: Oh! Oh.
Greenlee: Oh!
You're so sensitive.
Jake: That hurt.
Well, you're --
you're crazy.
That hurt.
Greenlee: It feels better,
though, doesn't it?
Jake: What, what?
My mood or my back?
Greenlee: Both.
Claire: I'm sorry,
Dr. Martin?
Jake: Yeah, yeah?
I'm right here.
Claire: I just thought
you would want to know
because there are so many
ambulances and everything out
there.
Jake: Know what?
Claire: A woman just fell
from the Chandler Building.
Greenlee: Whoa.
Claire: I know her.
I致e massaged her a bunch
of times.
She's a lawyer.
Her name is Leslie --
Jake: Leslie Coulsin?
Claire: Yeah, that's it,
that's it.
They said it's really terrible.
Jake: Ok, I got to run.
I got to run.
My clothes, please?
David: We need some help.
Let's get a gurney over here!
Dr. Trowbridge.
Patricia: Oh, doctor, let me
take a look at your --
David: No, I知 fine.
I need to examine Mrs. Martin.
Tad: No, you don't!
David: I know her medical
history better than anyone.
Tad: And I know yours better
than anyone.
If you think you're going
anywhere near my wife after what
happened --
Derek: Hey, hey! Break it up!
Hey!
Now, my people tell me you both
left the scene at Chandler
Enterprises.
Tad: Yeah, well, Dixie was
hurt, see, but -- Leslie tried
to murder her.
I thought I should get her here
I知 sorry.
Patricia: I want to move
Dixie into an examining room.
Tad: Fine, I知 coming
with you.
Patricia: No, no, no.
I need to check her out first.
You just stay here and wait, Ok?
Let's go.
Derek: I want somebody
to start talking about what
happened at the tower.
Tad?
Stroupe calls me, tells me
to come there.
Tells me to meet you there.
I go there.
You're gone, he's gone.
And I got a woman lying
on the ground who apparently
took a dive from the executive
balcony.
Now, do you have any idea how
that happened?
Tad: I just might.
Derek: What the hell is that
supposed to mean, Tad?
Tad: Why don't you start
with the good doctor.
You were there before me,
weren't you, David?
David: Yes, I was.
And when I arrived, Leslie had
Dixie thrown over the side
of the balcony.
Dixie could barely hold on.
Leslie was trying to throw
her over.
Even though I was maced,
I was able to get Dixie inside.
That's when Leslie sliced my arm
with a letter opener.
I followed her outside,
and she tried to get away
by climbing over to the next
balcony.
She lost her balance,
and she fell.
Derek: Before you got to her?
David: No.
I caught her arm.
But I couldn't hold on long
enough to pull her up.
My arm was wounded.
Tad: That's an amazing story.
David: That's what happened.
Tad: Sure. Absolutely.
I'm just curious about
one thing --
how badly did you want to help
Leslie before she went over
the side of that balcony?
David: What?
Tad: It's a simple question,
Doc.
Did you want her to fall?
David: Of course I wanted
to save Leslie.
But she grabbed on to my bad
arm.
I barely had any feeling in it.
I just wasn't strong enough
to pull her up.
Tad: You didn't want to use
your good arm to help her up?
David: It happened
in a heartbeat, Tad.
Tad: Really?
Did your life flash before
your eyes?
Huh?
You sure you didn't have
a minute, you and your good arm,
to think about it.
David: You know something?
I don't have to hear this.
Derek: All right, all right.
You should -- you should have
that shoulder looked at.
David: No, I知 fine.
Tad: Here's a miraculous
recovery.
David: You know something,
Martin?
I don't know how far you want
to push this.
Let's remember why Leslie lost
her mind in the first place.
It had nothing to with me.
Tad: It had everything to do
with you --
Derek: Hey --
Joe: Tad --
Tad: I'm fine.
I'm -- I just -- look after
Dixie.
She's in cubicle number one.
Joe: I know, I know.
I just saw her.
She's going to be fine.
David, Dixie told me you saved
her life.
David: I almost didn't, Joe.
I mean, Leslie was out
of control.
She would have killed us both
if she could.
Joe: Derek, nobody suspected
that Leslie was this far gone,
although some of us thought
she might be the one who stole
Libidozone from David痴 office.
Derek: What's that?
David: Joe --
Joe: It's on the videotape,
David.
It's no longer a secret.
Derek: Why didn't you tell me
this sooner?
Joe: We were doing our own
investigation.
David: I didn't want
to accuse anybody till I was
absolutely certain.
But now I am.
Leslie stole Libidozone
from my office.
She was the one that put
the drug in the punch
at the party.
Tad: We don't know that.
David: Your father just said
that we have a --
Tad: My father just said
he saw a videotape of Leslie
stealing Libidozone
from your office -- from you.
This just happened.
What happened on that boat was
months ago.
David: You didn't hear what
Leslie said right before
she fell.
Leslie sensed that I was losing
my grip.
She knew that she was going
to die.
She must have felt that it was
time to tell the truth.
Tad: What truth?
David: Leslie confessed that
she was the one that put
the drug in the punch the night
of the yacht party.
And she said she did it
because of you, Tad.
Dimitri: Hey, I知 glad
I could bring you some good
news, Gillian.
Gillian: Me, too.
Thank you.
Ryan: We were a little
nervous about Jake giving us
trouble about signing these,
so thank you, really.
Dimitri: Oh,
it's my pleasure.
Now, you have to get some rest
because Eugenia has all kinds
of plans for your recuperation.
Gillian: I'm sure she does.
Dimitri: She does, she does.
Get some rest.
I'll say good-bye.
Gillian: Before you go,
have you heard anything about
Alex yet?
Dimitri: Not yet.
Gillian: You're going to find
her, Dimitri.
She's going to come home.
Dimitri: You sound very
certain about that.
Gillian: I am.
You know, I never had the chance
to tell both of you, but Alex
told me when two people are
destined to be together,
nothing can keep them apart --
not forever, anyway.
Dimitri: How do you
know that?
Gillian: Because she told me
to stop running away from Ryan.
She said you can't run away
from the love of your life.
And she was right.
Dimitri: Well, she --
she always wanted you to be
happy, Gillian.
Gillian: I know.
And she knows what true
happiness is because she has
that with you.
She loves you deeply, Dimitri.
Don't you ever doubt that.
Dimitri: I don't.
Ryan: There were days when
I thought I壇 lost Gillian
forever.
Dimitri: Well, they're behind
you now.
Ryan: Yeah, well, I just
somehow hope that --
Dimitri: Seeing the two
of you like this gives me hope.
Thank you, thank you.
Ryan: Listen, if there's
anything I can do to help --
Dimitri: Hey -- take care
of my girl.
Ryan: I will.
I am. I will.
Dimitri: All right.
Ryan: Good night.
Dimitri: Good night.
Gillian: Good night.
Dimitri: I love you both.
Ryan: Thank you.
Ryan: I don't think I ever
would have thought that this day
would come.
Gillian: Jake was just hurt.
Ryan: Yeah, I know.
I know, but when he refused
to sign the divorce papers when
he found out you were pregnant,
I just --
you know what?
I'm sorry.
This is not the right time to be
talking about that.
I apologize.
Gillian: No, I was scared,
too.
But, you know, after
losing my baby last night,
I guess Jake has nothing
to hold on to.
Ryan: All I know
is that I can marry you now --
again.
Gillian: Again.
Ryan: For real.
Gillian: Forever.
Edmund: Look, if this is some
lousy excuse for a joke,
you've got absolutely --
Alex: No, Edmund, I知 here.
Edmund: Alex.
Alex: I'm so sorry.
I didn't expect Sam to answer
the phone.
Edmund: Alex -- are you Ok?
Alex: I didn't think
the children would still be
awake.
I don't want to upset them.
But I couldn't help myself --
his little voice.
Edmund: It's Ok.
Where are you?
Alex: I can't tell you that.
Edmund: Why?
Is there somebody there?
Alex: It's too dangerous.
You know, I wish I could tell
you everything, but I can't.
Edmund: Ok, Ok, listen.
Somebody's got you locked up,
but you managed to get
to a phone -- that's good --
and make a phone call.
Alex: Don't make me regret
this call.
Edmund: No, no.
Alex, let me help you.
Alex: Leave it alone.
Edmund: Alex -- Alex,
Maddie was drawing a picture
for you when you called.
I mean, she just wants you home.
We all do.
Alex: This is a mistake.
Edmund: No.
Alex: I'm sorry.
Edmund: Alex, don't be sorry.
Just trust me, Ok?
Just trust me.
Just trust me, we can get you --
Dimitri: Edmund --
Edmund: It's going to be Ok.
Alex, you know we can help
you if you just --
Dimitri: Alex.
Alex, is that you?
Alex: Hello, Dimitri.
Dimitri: Oh, my God, Alex.
All right, all right,
Alex, Alex, where are you?
Edmund: Just keep her on.
Keep her on.
Dimitri: Yeah, darling,
and I love you with all
of my heart.
Now, how -- how can we help you?
Alex: Don't do this.
Dimitri: Ok.
Are you safe?
Alex: Yeah, I知 fine,
I知 fine.
Don't worry.
Dimitri: Then tell us how
we can bring you home.
Alex: I can't.
Dimitri: Let us come to you.
Wherever you are, whatever
you're going through, we can
help you through it.
Alex: I couldn't let you,
even if -- even if --
I only called to tell you both
that I知 all right.
You can't change anything,
Dimitri.
You mustn't try.
Dimitri: Alex, I can't accept
that.
Alex, how do you expect me
to accept that?
Alex: If you love me the way
you say you do, then you won't
try to find me.
Dimitri: You know that I love
you.
Alex: Then don't try
to find me.
Please.
Do you understand?
It would be a terrible mistake
for all of us.
[Phone line clicks]
Alex: What was that?
Dimitri: Alex, please.
Alex: Don't trace this call.
Don't do it, Dimitri.
You'll regret it.
Please.
Dimitri?
Derek: Leslie confessed --
while you were holding
on to her arm, as she was
dangling from the side
of a building.
Is that what you're saying?
David: That's what happened,
Derek.
Derek: She said
she drugged the yacht party
for Tad --
Tad: And she said all this
in the heartbeat you were
talking about.
Derek: That is what she said,
right?
David: Tad knows better than
anyone that she would have done
anything to be with him.
So she drugged him.
And apparently she couldn't care
less if she drugged half
of Pine Valley in the process.
Come on, Derek.
The woman was unstable.
After what she did to Dixie
and her son tonight,
wouldn't you agree?
Derek: May I go speak
to Dixie, Joe, please?
Joe: I think it'll be all
right.
She's stable.
Come. I'll show you in.
Derek: Thanks.
We are not done.
David: What?
Tad: You are some piece
of work.
You know that?
David: I don't have to hear
this.
Tad: Yes, you do
absolutely.
Don't you think it's a little
strange, a little convenient,
that somebody who's to blame
for this entire thing is
no longer here to answer for any
of it?
David: What is your problem,
Tad?
You, your brother, your entire
family have been hot under
the collar for months wanting
to get to the bottom of this.
You finally do and you don't
like the answer, so you still
want to pin it on me?
Well, just to refresh
your memory, Dixie would be dead
tonight if it wasn't for me, Ok?
And the lunatic who did it went
through all this trouble just
to be with you, big guy.
Tad: And none of it had
anything to do with you --
you or your pet science
project --
David: Let it go, Tad.
Leslie did it.
For some reason, she thought
that you walked on water,
and she was willing to risk
everything just to be with you.
It had nothing to do with me,
Tad -- only you.
Tad: Oh, yeah.
Sure, I buy that.
Especially now that we got
her deathbed confession, the one
she made just before she plunged
over the side of a building.
You know, the one places
responsibility for everything
that's happened on her.
David: Yeah, well,
that's right.
And after watching Leslie
unspool tonight, there's not
a soul alive or dead who would
think it was anybody else
but her.
And you just can't stand that,
can you?
Because it means that you can't
poison Dixie against me anymore.
You're going to have to fight
for her like a man.
Tad: I don't have to fight
someone like you to hang
on to my marriage.
David: Look again, Tad.
Look again and ask yourself
if you really believe what
you just said.
Better yet -- why don't we wait
to see who Dixie asks for when
she can have visitors tonight.
If I was a betting man,
I壇 be rich tonight --
because I sure as hell wouldn't
bet on you.
Ryan: Can I try something
to make you feel a little less
sad?
Gillian: Being with you is
helping.
Ryan: No, no, I want to try
another thing.
Gillian: Like what?
Ryan: Like
show you
these.
Gillian: Oh.
Ryan: I was going to tell
you --
Gillian: That's our wedding
rings.
Ryan: Yeah.
I hope they still fit.
Gillian: I can't believe
you kept them.
I was so sure you'd throw them
out.
Ryan: Well, I couldn't bring
myself to do it.
I tried a couple times.
I did, but I couldn't do it,
so I just put them in a drawer
and I waited.
And then when I got --
replaced your engagement ring,
just --
Gillian: Oh, Ryan,
it's a beautiful match.
Ryan: I think so.
You see, I was thinking,
you know, the first time that
we did it -- got married --
Gillian: I know what
you meant.
Ryan: All right, well, we did
it for the wrong reasons and it
wasn't exactly a good thing
for either one of us,
but I learned to love you even
through being married
to you for the wrong reasons.
And I was thinking
that if these are the ones that
we wear always, these are
the ones that we wear when
we get married for the right
reasons, then it'll sort of be
a reminder of where we came
from and the mistakes we made,
and maybe
it'll prevent us from making
those same mistakes again.
Gillian: Ryan --
Ryan: No, I知 not finished
yet.
I was wrong to push you away
the first time, but I learned
that once you do something,
you have to live with it
and you learn from it,
and I learned
that there is no one on this
earth that I could love like
I love you.
And there's no one that I could
want to love more.
And I want to spend the rest
of my life giving you all
of my love if you'll have me.
Gillian: "If"?
Are you insane?
Ryan: So you'll still marry
me?
Gillian: You mean you even
worried about that?
Ryan: I was so close
to losing you last night.
Gillian: Ryan Lavery,
if I could marry you right now,
I would.
Gillian: I can't wait to be
your wife again.
Dimitri: Alex, Alex, you have
to let us help you.
Alex: You stay away
from here.
I'm warning you.
Dimitri: She hung up.
Edmund: I know.
But I got her.
Dimitri: What, you -- you got
the number?
Edmund: I know where she is.
Alex: What if they come here?
Man: What have you
done, Alex?
Alex: Nothing.
Man: What have you done?
Dixie: Oh!
Leslie: You did this!
You did this!
You did this!
Dixie: Tad --
David: Dixie, Dixie, it's Ok.
It's Ok.
Dixie: David.
David: What?
Dixie: David, she was here.
She was --
David: No, no, no,
no, no, no, you were just
dreaming.
You were dreaming.
Dixie, Leslie痴 gone.
She's dead.
Dixie: She's --
oh.
David: It's Ok, it's Ok.
It's all right.
Dixie: No.
Joe told me just --
David: It's all right.
You're safe now.
Dixie: Where's Junior?
David: No, Junior's fine.
Junior's fine.
Dixie: Are you Ok?
David: I'm fine if you are.
Now, look, why don't you get
some rest, Ok?
Dixie: Ok.
David: Let that sedative
you've taken do its job.
Dixie: Is Tad --
David: Tad is Ok.
You can see him when you wake
up, Ok?
Come on, get some rest.
David: She's sleeping, Tad.
Tad: Then I値l sit by her bed.
Get out of my way.
David: No, you won't.
Tad: I don't give a damn
if you are a doctor.
That does not give you the right
to come between me and
my wife --
David: She doesn't want
to see you.
Tad: Do you honestly think
I知 going to believe one word
that comes out of your mouth?
David: She told me herself.
She doesn't want to see you,
Tad.
Jake: Get me an examining
room, stat, and I知 going
to need some pictures here.
David: What the hell are
you doing with Leslie?
Why wasn't she brought
in through the morgue?
Jake: Do I usually bag
a cadaver in ER., David?
David: What?
She's not --
[Leslie, laying on the stretcher, opens her eyes and stares at David]
ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN
Leo: Oh -- ow.
Edmund: We're hours away
from finding Alex.
Dimitri: We're not going,
period.
Tad: You better pray that
Leslie dies on that operating
table.
Because if she doesn't,
you're both going to rot
in prison.
