Ryan: Frankly, I'm relieved.
Kendall: Is that right?
Ryan: I thought, "could Mr. Wolfe have possibly rented out this room to another inconsiderate woman with horrible taste in music?"
Kendall: Well, this looks like your lucky day, six pack.
Ryan: What are you doing here?
Kendall: I'm staying.
Ryan: Ok.
Kendall: Thanks for the thumbs up.
Ryan: Why? You don't need my permission to live your life.
Kendall: I know.
Ryan: Well, this is a complete 180. Last time I saw you, you had your bags packed, you were on your way to the airport.

Vanessa: All right, Maggie, Maggie, your sister -- your mother didn't even let me know to expect you.

Donald: Not really, but tell me, when did she first come out to you and your mother? Or was her affair with Bianca Montgomery her first foray into the world of homosexuality?

[Sirens]
Simone: Chris!
Chris: Don't be stupid, Mateo!
Mateo: You set me up, Proteus!
[Mateo starts to fight with Chris]

Stamp, look, I got a call that a drug deal was going down here. What the hell went wrong?
Chris: Nothing. You go check the safe in his office --

[Maggie breaks Donald's camera]
Donald: Who do you think you are? You can't do this.
Maggie: I just did. Are you ever not in trouble?
Vanessa: Just a minute, young lady --
Maggie: You know what? Don't even start with me. Did you set this up? What, a slow week on the society pages or something?
Greenlee: Look at you.
Vanessa: I assure you, I had absolutely nothing to do with this. Donald, what are you trying to do here?
Donald: Look, Erica Kane may be free, but this story is not dead. And your conspicuous absence after you testified at the trial for your niece's cold-blooded murder just kind of got me to thinking --
Vanessa: I had nothing more to contribute.
Maggie: Tell me something, Vanessa --
Vanessa: Mary Frances was gone --
Maggie: What did you contribute to Frankie while she was here? Anything? Did you ever take her to dinner? Tell her that she had someone to count on if she ever got into trouble? Did you ever let her know that she had family he?

Maggie: You want to get out of here before I smash your camera again?

Vanessa: Maggie, Maggie Darling, this whole thing was a terrible --
Maggie: Yeah, so terrible that you didn't even think to call your own sister and let her know that her daughter died?

Maggie: I heard the only people who ever thought about even having a service for my sister was -- was David Hayward and Leo du Pres? Come on, they barely even knew the two of us existed.
Greenlee: Maggie, I'm Leo's fiancée, Greenlee Smythe. And he was really upset about your sister.
Maggie: How could you let this happen?
Vanessa: Oh, come on, Darling, "let it happen?" You know, at the time I wasn't even speaking with Mary Frances.
Maggie: Yeah, I heard you wanted to get her right out of town. She called me and left a message and said she was ok and that she spoke to Aunt Vanessa. And she said that you wanted to get her out of town.
Greenlee: Nice, Vanessa.
Maggie: Put her on a plane.
Vanessa: No, no, no, no, no. I was worried about her, Dear. I thought she should be home.
Maggie: Frankie didn't have a home, Vanessa. But you wouldn't know that. No, because you don't talk to your sister. Do you ever think about anyone other than yourself?
Greenlee: We haven't see it yet.
Vanessa: Oh, come on, stop it, the both of you!
Maggie: My sister died alone. Alone, Vanessa. Did you ever think about calling anyone? Letting us know so we could have a service for her? You know, you're just a heartless bitch.

Leo: What, are you following me, Jake?
Jake: Following you? Why's that, Leo?

Jake: No, I'm here to see a boat. You and Greenlee are the last things on my mind, I promise you.
Leo: What the hell are you going to do with a boat?
Jake: I got a better question for you. What the hell are you doing with that wet trunk there?

Jake: What is it that you say to these women that actually makes them think that you're not a grifter?

Jake: No, really, I mean it, Leo. I mean it. What's the appeal? You have no money, just the appearance of it. You have no direction, just the desire to play. I don't get it. Do you actually think that I buy that you're settling down with Greenlee?

Jake: Oh, I'm sure you don't. You know, Laura didn't even want to stick around this town after you were through undoing her.
Leo: I don't have time for this! I got important things that I'm trying to do if you haven't noticed!
Jake: Oh, yeah? What kind of things? "Fishing crap out of the lake in the middle of winter" kind of things? Is that what it is? Just tell me something. What's going on with Greenlee?
Leo: What about Greenlee?
Jake: What, she sits at home and tries to figure out your relationship issues, is that it?
Leo: What the hell are you rambling about now?
Jake: Your fiancée is worried about your relationship. Yeah, you need to open your eyes, Leo.
Leo: And you know this how?
Jake: You really want to know?
Leo: Yeah, I really want to know. Was she telling you about me? About us? What?
Jake: You know what? On second thought, I'm going to let you two work this out on your own.
Leo: No, no, no, you can't just walk in here and drop a bomb like that and just leave. Forget it. Tell me what you were going to tell me.
Jake: All right, you want to know? You want to know what she said to me --

Jake: Yeah, today. And it's the second time in one day that she's come to me asking me to help her hold onto you. And you want to know something? I'm sick of it. I'm sick of her, I'm sick of you, and you need to get control of your relationship and leave me the hell out of it, do you understand?

Kendall: Why do you always think I have an angle? Did it ever occur to you that maybe I want to stay here and, I don't know, make things right?
Ryan: With who? Your Mom?
Kendall: Unless Lourdes has a Pine Valley branch, don't count on that miracle any time soon.
Ryan: Interesting. All of it very interesting. What could she possibly have in mind?
Kendall: My turn for a question.
Ryan: All right, I'm an open book.
[Ryan opens up a can of peanuts]
Ryan: Nut?
Kendall: You rode in here tonight on a motorcycle.
Ryan: You are so clever.
Kendall: But you -- you bought a new one already off that poor kid's dime?
Ryan: That "poor kid" is an heir to a fortune, Kendall.
Kendall: Yeah, but you -- I thought you said that you wanted him to buy a new bike with the money he earned at a burger joint or something like that, or else you'd rat him out to his dad.
Ryan: Life lessons from Ryan. These are very good, you know, they're full of protein. When was the last time you ate anything with protein in it, Kendall?
Kendall: You're worried about my diet?
Ryan: Well, I see the pizza man come here, like, three times a night.
Kendall: Are you through?
Ryan: No. You? Come on. Kendall, tell me your plan for your mom.
Kendall: I don't have one.
Ryan: Yeah. Seriously, let me in on the secret. I mean, who else is this interested in you without waving an arrest warrant in your face?
Kendall: I have no revenge fantasies. She killed the fun when she went after me.
Ryan: So now you're going after her daughter? That's it, isn't it? You're going after Binky.
Kendall: In case you haven't noticed, there is nothing to "get" from Binky. Look, you want the big reveal?
Ryan: Yes, please.
Kendall: I am not going after my mother. The past is past.
Ryan: Uh-huh.
Kendall: No, it's true. And as for Binky is concerned, I ruined it with her. You were there, you saw it, you know what happened. I completely lost my cool with Bianca, and now she doesn't trust me any more than our -- than her mother does. You don't believe me.
Ryan: Kendall, I've been living next to you now for a while, and I've seen you almost burn down this place twice. I read the transcript of the heartwarming testimony you gave at your mother's murder trial, and I saw you almost go into spasm when you found out she's not guilty. How could I believe a word of this and still respect myself in the morning?
Kendall: I don't suppose you'd buy that I'm here to seek enlightenment?
Ryan: Yeah, right. It's money. That's it, right? You need dough.
Kendall: Actually, I just came into some.
Ryan: Like what? From the heavens?
Kendall: Almost. But it won't last forever, so, you -- you have any leads on jobs?
Ryan: For you?
Kendall: I don't see you getting yourself one anytime soon.
Ryan: Ha-ha. Well, what can you do?
Kendall: Anything.
Ryan: Really?
Kendall: So I've been told.
Ryan: Wow. That must mean that you are really good at waiting tables.

Ryan: There's actually one perk to all this.
Kendall: Really? Just one?
Ryan: Yeah, just one. If you get this job, you'll be working nights, and then, well, maybe I can get some sleep at night.
Kendall: Why is that? Distracts you to have me so close when you're in bed?
Ryan: It distracts me to have a smoking-bed, loud-music-playing nut job living next to me. Come on, let's go. I hear the uninterrupted sleep calling me.
Kendall: You are such a pain in the --
Ryan: I know. I know.

Derek: You want to talk now or after you get a lawyer?
Simone: Don't say a word, Mateo, not now.
Derek: It's cocaine. There's a lot of it. It's not as easy to get as it used to be. Is it yours?
Chris: It's his. Derek: Look, Mat
eo, this right here alone is worth, what, 200,000 on the street? What's it doing in your safe?
Mateo: I don't know. Why don't you ask Agent Stamp?
Simone: Ok, that's it. Hey, Derek, this is a setup.
Derek: You know about this, too?
Chris: She's his girlfriend. What do you think she's going to say?
Derek: Look, Stamp, you're not helping.
Chris: Hey, this isn't yours anymore. It's my collar now.
Derek: Excuse me?
Chris: You place Mr. Santos under arrest or I will.
Derek: Look, Stamp, I want to get all the facts before I jump to some kind of wrong conclusion.
Chris: Lieutenant, this case isn't yours.
Derek: And why is that? Chris: It's under federal jurisdiction.
Derek: What?
Chris: Lieutenant, we have been monitoring this drug ring for months.
Derek: I know that, but you don't have the authority --
Chris: I don't have the what?
Derek: You don't have the authority --
Chris: Lieutenant, you arrest Mr. Santos now for drug possession, intent to distribute, and assaulting a federal agent or I will! Understood?
Simone: I'm going to call Edmund. I'm going to call someone --
Chris: No, no, you're being brought in for questioning.
Simone: Chris, you don't get it --
Chris: You don't get it! Lt. Frye, arrest Mr. Santos now.
Derek: You're under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney and to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you free of charge prior to questioning.

Leo: Well, thanks, Doc. I'll be sure to let Greenlee know you delivered the message.
Jake: I'm just trying to put an end to all of the back-and-forth --
Leo: No, you're trying to pull another one of your martyr acts by showing Greenlee how selfless you are and how undeserving I really am. Well, bravo. You happy?
Jake: You know, as usual, Leo, you don't even hear what she's trying to say to you --
Leo: No, what I hear is another one of your sanctimonious preaches about how right everything is in Martinsville and how wrong it is everywhere else, especially near me!
Jake: You don't even know what you're talking about.
Leo: Oh, I don't?
Jake: No!
Leo: You don't think that I can see through you? You pretend that you don't care and you act like you're better than me and everyone else who wasn't born under the caring sign of Joe and Ruth Martin, the only parents in North America who actually know what they're doing, right?
Jake: What are you even going on about? What is this about?
Leo: And then you wonder why she picked me over you? You, the stable one, me, the loser. You, the supportive one, me, the selfish user, right? Well, here's the reason -- she was probably worried, probably scared, that you and all your goodness would rise into heaven to give god himself advice. I mean, how the hell is she supposed to live up to that?
Jake: That is the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
Leo: Yeah, you just can't handle the fact that we actually love each other.
Jake: You know what, Leo? I'm fully aware of how Greenlee feels about you.
Leo: Oh, yeah. And you know what? You hate it, don't you? You hate it because you can't figure it out. I mean, all I have to give her is me. And you can give her everything else, so how did I win? Did it ever occur to you that it might just be true love, Jake?
Jake: You know, I'm really sorry that I came here today. Leo: Yeah, well, that makes
two of us.

[Leo leaves - dragging the trunk with him]
Leo: Aah! For the love of God, what's in here?

Mia: Wow.
Jake: Mia?
Mia: That was some exchange, huh?
Jake: Oh, just -- how long have you been here?
Mia: A little too long.
Jake: I'm sorry you had to hear all that.
Mia: Really? I'm sorry that you didn't answer Leo's last question.
Jake: Yeah? I don't even remember what he was asking, so --
Mia: Are you sure? Because it was a good question. He asked you if you believe that he and Greenlee are really, truly in love. Do you believe that?

Maggie: Do you want to get into this with me, Vanessa?
Vanessa: Oh, Maggie, Maggie Darling, I'm -- I'm sorry. You must be grieving so --
Maggie: Yeah, my sister's dead.
Vanessa: I know, and it was -- it was so tragic.
Maggie: You know, she could've had someone here, and she didn't.
Greenlee: Uh, Maggie? Frankie wasn't alone. I mean, from what I've heard, she was pretty tight with Bianca. I just mean, you know, she wasn't alone. She was ok you know, until that night.
Maggie: Did you know her?
Greenlee: No. No, I met her, but she wasn't exactly --
Maggie: Warm? Yeah. I know. She was really tough on the outside, but on the inside she was just a big mess.
Greenlee: She seemed a little lost.
Maggie: She was, and I -- well, she didn't let me in, either. Not for long, anyway.
Vanessa: Well, Darling, I mean, maybe you can stop blaming yourself now, huh?
Maggie: I'm not blaming myself, Vanessa. God, you know, if I was here, I could've helped her, but, you know --
Vanessa: But I didn't know any of this was going on. She never opened up to me.
Maggie: Did you ever let her?
Vanessa: I don't know what you want from me!
Maggie: You know what? Neither do I. I came here to find out something about my sister's death or to feel close to her or -- or just to accept that she was finally gone, and why I thought seeing you might do that, I will have no idea.

Kendall: So you think you have an in with the owner?
Ryan: I know the owner. I wouldn't exactly say I have an in with him.
Kendall: But you said that he needed help.
Ryan: Yeah.
Kendall: This place isn't exactly crawling with customers.
Ryan: No. Well, I think that there's a -- whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What is this? Mateo, what's going on? What the -- what the hell's going on? Derek, what?
Derek: I can't talk right now, Ryan.
Ryan: Did you do this?
Chris: Just doing my job.
Ryan: Which one? You had Mateo arrested?
Chris: It looks that way.

Chris: Drugs. Sound familiar?

Mia: I'm sorry. The last thing that I want to seem is desperate.

Kendall: So my in for this waitressing gig just got hauled off in handcuffs. What do you ink my chances are now?
Ryan: He's sort of a friend of mine, Kendall, all right?
Kendall: Ok. And your other "friend," Agent Stamp, seemed to be leading the charge. What do you think about that?
Ryan: Look, I got to go.
Kendall: Go where?
Ryan: Listen, I'll talk to you later, ok?
Kendall: Ok, but wait. Wait -- how am I supposed to get back? What -- what the hell was that?

[Kendall sits down at the bar]
Kendall: Does Ryan Lavery have a tab here?
Bartender: Yeah. You with him?
Kendall: I am now. Champagne. Uh -- open a fresh one.

Vanessa: Maggie, I don't know what I could ever do to make it up to you, but I will try.
Leo: Who are you?
Maggie: Are you Leo?
Vanessa: Leo, it's ok, Darling. This is Mary Margaret, Frankie's twin.
Leo: Yeah -- oh, yeah. I'm -- well, I'm -- I'm sorry.
Maggie: I know we met before, but I'm sorry, I really don't remember it.
Leo: You were just -- you and Frankie were just kids.
Maggie: Yeah, I know.
Greenlee: Leo, Donald Steele set her up.
Leo: Ohh. How?
Maggie: I got this note from him, and he said that he had information about my twin's murder. Apparently all he wanted was some dysfunctional portrait of me and your mother.
Leo: Were you in on this?
Vanessa: Leo, the very thought --
Maggie: Apparently, she isn't, just like when Frankie was here.
Leo: Maggie, I blew it, too. I mean, when -- when Frankie was here, I had a lot going on, too. I was getting divorced and -- well, I didn't really spend any time with her at all. I just wish -- look, I'm really sorry. I should've called you.
Maggie: I wish someone had -- before Donald Steele at least.
Leo: Look, I know that I blew it with Frankie. But maybe -- that's lame, I'm sorry. Look, I know that I can't make it up to you or to Frankie, obviously, but -- no, it's too late.
Maggie: Maybe not for us. Look, I was mad, I lost it on your mother, and I really had no right.
Vanessa: Well, finally.
Maggie: I mean, look. I really didn't even know anything about my own sister. She was gay, first of all. And she had a drug problem, and I didn't know any of it. And now she's gone. It just -- you know what it is? It just feels like the old days, you know. She just ran away again, and she's going to come back.
Leo: Sometimes when you lose someone, you see them everywhere.

Kendall: Yeah, and sometimes they actually show up.

Leo: Could you leave us alone? I need to talk to my mother for a minute. Would you mind going to have a cheeseburger over --
Greenlee: Leo, I really should be with you.
Leo: I really, really need a few minutes here.
Greenlee: [To Maggie] Maybe, should we get a table?

Leo: Ok, no bull, Mother.
Vanessa: Pardon?
Leo: I want answers right now.
Vanessa: Beg your pardon?

Mateo: Did you talk to Edmund?
Simone: They haven't given me a chance.
Mateo: All right, don't. Let's just see how this thing plays out.
Simone: Mateo, they arrested you.
Mateo: I know, I know, just --
Simone: Chris cannot pull this off and still be Proteus. He can't. I mean, he's throwing around that whole FED stuff way too easy. There's no way.
Mateo: He railroaded me into getting arrested. You saw that. What do you think that means?
Simone: Well, he obviously didn't -- he saw the drugs, but he doesn't know it's a setup. Obvious.
Mateo: All right, just sit tight. Sit tight.

Mateo: Hey, Derek. You don't look happy.
Derek: Yeah, Mateo. I got a call from the police commissioner. This is now officially a federal case.
Simone: Wait -- wait a minute.
Derek: It falls under the jurisdiction of the Rico Act.
Simone: Lieutenant --
Derek: It's out of my hands.
Mateo: Which means I can kiss my rights good-bye.
Derek: Look, Mateo, Stamp's in charge. Just lawyer up fast, ok?
Mateo: All right.
Derek: We're still going to hold you for questioning. Would you put her in one of the interrogation rooms, please? A federal agent is on her way.
Simone: Mateo --
Mateo: Go. Go. Just do what they say. Please, go.

Vanessa: Well, Darling, whatever you want to talk about, I hope it's good news because this has been some night, you know. I mean, Mary Margaret's sudden appearance and all has me completely --
Leo: Are you sleeping more, Mother?

Leo: I mean, now that you've downsized and you've got all of your books back. You know, all those books?
Vanessa: Leo, what --

Leo: Well, she was one of my -- she is one of my best friends, and I know Frankie meant a lot to her.

Leo: Well, yeah, I think that might be a good idea. Do you want to?

Leo: Ok. Ok. Well, maybe I can set it up.

Leo: But the thing is, I don't -- I'm not sure Frankie ever told Bianca about you.
Maggie: I'm sure she didn't. Leo: So I think that it might be a good idea if I set it up because it's going to be a huge surprise to Bianca when she sees you for the first time. So I just think it'd be a lot more comfortable if -- ok?

Jake: So you want to know if I'm over Greenlee enough to leave town?
Mia: In a word.
Jake: I'm working on it.
Mia: Well, at least you're honest.
Jake: You want to come with me? I mean, on this boat that I haven't yet seen and haven't yet bought?
Mia: I'm thinking I might.

Leo: I talked to Jake.
Greenlee: What?
Leo: Why didn't you tell me you went to see him about , Greens? You just -- forget it. Tell me later.
Greenlee: No. Leo, wait.
Leo: Maggie, do you need a place to stay tonight?
Maggie: Something tells me that that would be a huge crowd.
Greenlee: No, no.
Leo: No.
Greenlee: I'm fine. You're family. Why not?

[Kendall, still sitting at the bar, makes a phone call]
Kendall: Bianca, it's Kendall. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Don't hang up, please. Listen, I have to see you. No. No, no, no. I'm dead serious. This is the most important thing I've ever had to tell you. I need to see you in person. Yes. Now.

Chris: He's processed. Lock him up.
Mateo: I get a phone call, Stamp.
Chris: No. You get what you deserve.
Hayley: Which is exactly what, Chris?
Mateo: Hayley --
Hayley: This is over now.
Mateo: Shut your mouth.
Hayley: I will not! This game is ending -- right now!
