ALL MY CHILDREN

FEBRUARY 6, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Maggie: I'm Frankie's sister.

Kendall: I know this must be so painful for you.

Leo: This is even heavier than the ones we pulled out of Vanessa's suite. What it's doing up in the middle of the lake? This is Larry's.

Vanessa: You're afraid, Dear, because you should be. Greenlee: I'm wondering if any amount of psychotherapy could help you.

Ryan: None of it matters, Mom. Not you, not Stamp.

TODAY'S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Val: Erica?
Erica: Oh, Val, yeah. Look, I am buried.
Val: Oh, I know, but your daughter is here.
Erica: Oh. That's wonderful. Well, send her in. I mean, you know Bianca doesn't have to wait.
Val: Yes, Erica, but it's --
Erica: You know, Val, come on, don't be silly. I mean, after all that's happened, frankly I am thrilled that my daughter has come to see me.
Kendall: Are you really? Even this daughter, Erica?

Myrtle: Ah. Yes.
Maggie: Hi. I'm sorry. I'm Frankie's sister.
Myrtle: Her twin sister?
Maggie: Yes.
Myrtle: Good heavens. You certainly are.
Maggie: I'm Maggie.
Myrtle: Oh. I'm Myrtle. Come on in, Honey, out of the cold. I'm very, very sorry about your loss, Dear.
Maggie: Thank you. Is Bianca around?
Myrtle: Yes, but she's sleeping in, I think, poor girl.
Maggie: Oh. Did she tell you what happened last night?
Myrtle: Yes, she did. She was badly shaken. You have to understand, Maggie, Bianca loved your sister very much.
Maggie: I know. Do you mind if I waited for her?
Myrtle: Are you sure? You don't think it might be better in a few days when she's a bit stronger?
Maggie: Ok.

Bianca: Myrtle --
Myrtle: Ah. Here she is.
Bianca: I'm fine, and I would like to talk to Maggie.
Myrtle: Oh.

Leo: Where the hell have you been?
David: I was called out of town for an emergency, but I'm here now. What? What did she do now, Leo?
Leo: Do you remember that trunk, that trunk that she had us haul down to her car a while back?
David: It's kind of hard to forget. The thing weighed a country ton. Why?
Leo: Well, I -- I found it floating in Willow Lake last night.
David: Floating?
Leo: Yeah, empty. Oh, except for this.
[Leo holds up Larry's bracelet]
David: Ok, so Vanessa stole it from Palmer when he kicked her out.
Leo: No, no, this isn't Palmer's, Bro. This is Larry's.
David: The driver?
Leo: Yeah.
David: Well, how do you know that?
Leo: Well, I -- I remember seeing it on his wrist when he was beating the hell out of me.
David: So Larry's bracelet ends up in her empty trunk floating in a lake? So what are you saying, Leo?
Leo: What I really, really don't want to say.
David: Do you think Vanessa killed her boyfriend?

] [Vanessa talks on the phone in her hotel room]
Vanessa: Was Mateo Santos arrested? Excellent. I saw them take him out in the handcuffs. I just wanted to make certain he didn't squirm out of it, so --
[Knock on door]
Vanessa: You keep me informed -- about everything. Yes.

Vanessa: Ah, no, not again.
Greenlee: Close the door, Vanessa.
Vanessa: Are you telling me what to do now? Is that it, Dear?
Greenlee: Close the door. Leo said he was willing to put up with you until our wedding, but I'm a little less willing, so, your departure date from Pine Valley has been moved up. You're leaving today.
Vanessa: Today? Really? How industrious. Are you out of your mind, Dear?
Greenlee: No. This should cover it.
Vanessa: Cover what?
Greenlee: The cost of never seeing you again. That's 100 grand, payable only in Swiss Francs, so I also generously bought you a one-way ticket to Geneva. Where you go after that and what you do, I could care as much as spit, Vanessa. You're history. Start packing.

Ryan: I got some stuff for Mateo Santos. His wife sent it.
Officer: Give me a minute and I'll see what's up.
Ryan: All right.

Chris: This is my case. It's a federal case. I want Santos confined to a federal facility where access to his friends are cut off, Derek.
Derek: Chris, do you know who his father-in-law is?
Chris: What, am I supposed to be intimidated by Adam Chandler, Derek? I have the federal government backing me on this arrest. Do you understand that?
Ryan: And what's the federal government going to say when they find out that you ambushed Mateo in prison? Were you -- you going to say something, Chris, like, you're just doing your job?
Chris: What are you doing here?
Ryan: Go ahead, think, Stamp. Come on, quick. Come on, I know you n come up with something to slap on me so I can become your next federal case.
Officer: He brought this bag of stuff for Santos. I've checked it out. It's just some clothes and toothpaste, basically.
Derek: Yeah, fine. I'll make sure he gets it. Thanks.
Ryan: You see, you know Mateo was set up. You know that the drugs were planted.
Chris: No, I don't know that. So why don't you leave so I can get back to my job.
Ryan: You think I don't see what you're doing? You think I don't see that Mateo is your smokescreen?
Chris: You have no idea what you're talking about.
Ryan: You have lied to me. You've lied to everybody in this whole town since the day you showed up here.
Chris: Derek, get rid of this guy.
Ryan: "Stamp of Approval"? Does that sound familiar? Back of my mother's picture? That was your handwriting, you son of a bitch.
Derek: Calm down, Ryan.
Ryan: I asked you point-blank, and you told me, you said to me -- you looked me in the eye and you said that you did not know my mother. You lied to me! You tell me why!

Vanessa: This is quite a generous offer for most people. Keep the change.
Greenlee: Hmm. I knew you wouldn't do this the smart way.
Vanessa: No, and what have we here?
Hmm? Plan B?
[Vanessa laughs]
Vanessa: What did you --
Greenlee: Oh, don't worry, don't worry. This is just a cute little rendition I had my art department guys draw up for me. This is what I'll give Donald Steele with the facts to back it up if you don't take the money and run. So, what's it going to be?

David: I know that this doesn't come easily to you, Leo. So why now? Why do you suddenly think that our mother is capable of -- man, this is nuts. This is --
Leo: I know it is. So please talk me out of it.
David: She said that well, she claimed that when she broke it off with him, he got ballistic, he -- he wanted more money, right? He got physical with her --
Leo: Right, so maybe if that much is true, maybe -- maybe he did get violent, more so than she let on. I mean, you saw what he did to me.
David: Yeah, I know. I know, Leo. I hear you.
Leo: Maybe there was a struggle and maybe she got to him -- in self-defense. I mean, then it's ok, right? That wouldn't be enough to put her away for the rest of her life, would it?
David: No, but if what you're saying to me is true, Leo, then Vanessa has given us every reason to have her committed for good.
Leo: Wait, "committed." What do you mean, "committed"?
David: Give me this.
Leo: David, what are you -- David, what are you -- hold -- hold on a -- just give me a minute to explain this. Hold on.

Myrtle: Well, I think I'll go and make some tea. And if you want any, just holler, ok?

Maggie: Thank you for seeing me.
Bianca: Thank you for not hating me.
Maggie: Why would I hate you?
Bianca: Well, I wasn't exactly cool last night, hanging on to you.
Maggie: Oh, wait, that wasn't supposed to happen like that. I mean, Leo was supposed to talk to you first. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. I was just wondering, because I know you guys were close.
Bianca: Yeah, we were.
Maggie: Did Frankie ever tell you about me?
Bianca: No.
Maggie: Yeah, why would she? She was always pushing away everything, even me.
Bianca: Well, Frankie and I were tight, but we -- I could tell that there was a lot she keeping from me.
Maggie: Well, she was like that.
Bianca: Can I ask you something?
Maggie: Sure.
Bianca: When did you last see Frankie?
Maggie: Oh, um -- I don't know, about four years ago. Yeah. We only hung out for about an hour. And two years before that, we had pizza.
Bianca: Really? That's it?
Maggie: We were in totally different places. I went to school, she went out. I got out and she didn't.
Bianca: Well, she was trying. She was going to take college here.
Maggie: Really? How? She barely went to high school.
Bianca: Well, you said that you hadn't seen her for a while. Maybe there was a lot that you didn't know.
Maggie: No "maybe" about it. I don't know, but we didn't have that twin thing. You know, I couldn't sense what was or wasn't wrong with Frankie any more than she could see it about me.
Bianca: Well, you know, that doesn't mean anything. Just because you didn't have that twin thing doesn't mean that you weren't really important to each other.
Maggie: Oh, we weren't important enough.
Bianca: Why do you say that?
Maggie: Because if we were, maybe I would have been, I don't know, close enough to help her.
Bianca: Maggie, I don't know if Frankie would have let anybody get that close.
Maggie: You know, I know we weren't close, but -- when I found out what happened, it felt like I lost an arm. I don't know, that's just how I felt about her.
Bianca: Can I tell you something?
Maggie: Yeah.
Bianca: I felt the same way.

Erica: Thank you, Val.
Kendall: I'm guessing you would have thought I would have been long gone by now. Don't you want to know why I'm here?
Erica: Not particularly.
Kendall: I saw your latest embarrassment in the papers. Perjury, obstruction of justice.
Erica: Kendall, I have nothing to say to you. You can show yourself out.
Kendall: Don't you want to know why I didn't take the money? It was a lot, too. Jack is a pretty big spender when it comes to you.
Erica: What on earth are you talking about?
Kendall: Please, it was Jack's bank account, but it had you written all over it.
Erica: Are you making this up?
Kendall: Are you for real?
Erica: Look, I had no idea that Jack came to you with money. What did he want to do, give you money so you'd leave town?
Kendall: Oh, as if you didn't know.
Erica: I will speak to Jack about this.
Kendall: Give him a 411 for me -- I'm cashing the check, but I'm not signing the deal to leave, and I really don't care what he thinks about that. I see it as compensation for my pain and suffering.
Erica: Kendall, what possible good could come of your staying in Pine Valley?
Kendall: I'm staying for my sister, for Bianca. She needs me, and I'm not going to let her down.
Erica: Bianca is not interested in getting to know you.
Kendall: But she came to see me after your trial. She didn't tell you? Well, why would she? She's still so mad at you. And who can blame her? And now that she is almost 18, she's getting ready to make the big break from you --
Erica: You didn't hear me. You stay away from my daughter.
Kendall: Are you losing your hearing, Erica? Bianca came to me. She wanted to talk to me about you. She felt used by you and she knew that I did, too. So we connected. After all this time, can you stand it?
Erica: Don't you think I see exactly what you're doing? Don't you know how transparent you are?
Kendall: What?
Erica: If you think that I'm going to stand by and allow you to manipulate Bianca --
Kendall: The way you manipulated me, and her, for that matter?
Erica: Kendall, I am warning you.
Kendall: Erica, this isn't about you or me. This is about Bianca and what's best for her.
Erica: And I will take care of Bianca.
Kendall: You didn't take care of her last night. I did.
Erica: What are you talking about?
Kendall: Damn, I wasn't supposed to say anything. I promised Bianca I wouldn't --
Erica: Oh, come on, is this a joke now? Is this some sort of sick joke?
Kendall: Didn't you hear what happened last night at S.O.S.?
Erica: Mateo Santos was arrested, yes. Now, what does that have to do with Bianca?
Kendall: No, after that. No, no, I am not letting you do this to me.
Erica: To you? I swear to you, if something has happened to Bianca and you are not telling me --
Kendall: You know what? You need to go and talk to her yourself.

[Erica leaves to find Bianca]
Kendall: It's show time, folks.

Chris: Lieutenant, if Mrs. Santos wants something delivered to this office again, it is not to come through this man. Do you understand me?
Derek: Why don't the two of you take this outside and not make this a matter of police record?
Chris: You're out of control.
Ryan: No, I'm not out of control. This is out of control. You know something? I hated my old man, but at least with him, I mean, you knew where you stood. With you -- who the hell are you?
Chris: Lieutenant, get this man out of here right now. Right now. That's an order!
Derek: Let's go, Ryan. Let's go.
Ryan: My father was a drug dealer.
Derek: Ryan, let's go.
Ryan: And I would take him any day over you because nothing is worse than a dirty cop, Chris!
Derek: Get him out of here!
Ryan: Nothing!
Derek: Come on.

Greenlee: What's the matter, Dear? You look pale.
Vanessa: Have you any idea what this will do to Leo?
Greenlee: Like you care at all about Leo. Don't pull that card with me, Vanessa. It won't work.
Vanessa: You don't understand my relationship with my son at all, do you?
Greenlee: Oh, yeah. I do. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention in psych classes, but I know emotional incest when I see it.
Vanessa: "Emotional --" you know, you are disgusting.
Greenlee: I am? Take a look in the mirror, if you don't go break the thing. You don't treat Leo the way a mother treats his son, Vanessa. You treat him like a date.
Vanessa: Oh, and you're jealous of that.
Greenlee: Oh! That's good!
Vanessa: Oh! No, no, no, you see, there's a part of him that you will never own, my dear -- never, ever, and you just can't stand that. Greenlee, he's mine. Leo will always be mine.
Greenlee: Do you hear yourself?
Vanessa: I created him. And Leo will always do exactly what I tell him to do, eventually.
Greenlee: You are out of your gourd, Dr. Frankenstein. Listen, Vanessa, Leo is not some boy you can emotionally torment to do what you want anymore. He's a grown man and he needs to be treated like one by you. And if you can't do that, you have to go away.
Vanessa: If you continue on with this -- oh, I'm afraid I can't be responsible for my actions.
Greenlee: You've been getting away with murder for years. But it's done. You're done.
Vanessa: Oh, Lord. Oh. [Vanessa picks up a pair of scissors]
Greenlee: Don't cut yourself with those.
Greenlee: Take the money, get out, or I give Donald Steele the best story he's had in a year. Those are your two options.
Vanessa: Only two? Just two. You know, Greenlee, I -- I really see three. I mean, don't you? I mean, don't you just feel it? I mean, somewhere in your heart?

Maggie: Frankie always isolated herself from everyone. I guess it was just her way of protecting herself. But, you know, even if she didn't tell you everything she was feeling, the fact that she let you in at all, it really means a lot, Bianca.
Bianca: I know. I didn't know her for very long, but I still feel like I did.
Maggie: I'm really glad she had you. I really am.
Bianca: Thank you. Did you know that your sister liked poetry?
Maggie: No, I didn't, but you know she was a music freak. Oh, she listened to music all night long. Yeah, and she always pored over the lyrics. She knew every word by heart.
Bianca: After she died, they found this, that she left me with a note.
Maggie: You mean, like, she knew she was going to die?
Bianca: I don't know about that. Like, she knew that she was going to leave. That much I'm sure of.
Maggie: You know, she -- she really was into words, definitely. Oh, God, yeah, she loved crossword puzzles and anagrams and -- and when we were really little, she had this -- she had this decoder ring from some cartoon or something, and she would always try to find words that had hidden meanings in it, and she would always say that the decoder ring decoded it.
Bianca: Look, there's a page missing. Here. See, it was cut out. Do you think maybe that was some kind of message from Frankie to decode?
Maggie: I don't know. Well, what sonnet was it?
Bianca: 144. At first, I thought she -- it just might have been too much for her.
Maggie: Why?
Bianca: Well, it was a pretty explicit one, in a way. I thought maybe she was embarrassed or something. I mean, she wrapped up the book and she wrote me a note right before it happened.
Maggie: Well, how do you know?
Bianca: I had just walked in on her by accident.
Maggie: With that guy. I read about it in the papers.
Bianca: Right. I -- I just feel like maybe that missing page is her way of telling me why she was with JR that night.
Maggie: What's the sonnet about?
Bianca: What they're all about -- love.
Maggie: So, Frankie was telling you that she still loved you even though she did what she did. You know, I'm really sorry because this must be very difficult for you to see me and, you know, I look like her.
Bianca: No, it's ok. I just keep thinking back to that night, wishing that I could turn back time and make it all not happen. You know, the last time I saw her, I was furious with her. I just ran out of the room. But I, you know, wish I could go back and just say good-bye.
Maggie: Well, what would you say to her?
Bianca: I probably wouldn't even know what to say. I would probably just hold her.
Maggie: You know, she probably would have liked that.
Bianca: For about 10 seconds, and then she'd get completely freaked out.
Maggie, I --
Maggie: I know. I know. I'm sorry, Bianca. Come here. I really am.
[Maggie hugs Bianca]

[Kendall lurks around Myrtle's house]
Kendall: Oh, I hope she still hides the key where she always did.

[Erica walks in and sees Maggie hugging Bianca]
Erica: Get away from my daughter! Do you have any kind of idea of the hell you've put us through, you lying, conniving little con artist, you?
Myrtle: Erica? Erica?
Bianca: Mom, Mom, it's not -- Erica: What kind of twisted, disgusting mind comes up with something so devious as this?
Bianca: Stop it!
Erica: Answer me, you witch!
Bianca: Please!
Erica: Myrtle, call the police! She is not going to have --
Bianca: No! Shut up!
Erica: Anything to do with this.
Bianca: Shut up!
Bianca: For God's sake, this is not Frankie.
Erica: What do you mean, "this is not Frankie"?
Maggie: I'm her sister. Her identical twin sister.
Erica: Oh, my God.
Maggie: Nice to meet you, too.

Greenlee: Vanessa, you tired, old cow, put the scissors down and grow up.
[Knock on door]
Greenlee: Room service or escort service?
Vanessa: Just go away and take whoever's on the other side of that door with you.

Leo: Vanessa, it's Leo and David. Open up.
Greenlee: Damn it.
Vanessa: Oh, my two sons. Thank God you're here.
Leo: Greenlee --
Greenlee: Hi.
Leo: What -- what the hell are you doing here? You told me you had a breakfast meeting this morning.
Vanessa: Oh, well, this is her breakfast meeting. Look what she's trying to do to me.
Leo: Greenlee --
Greenlee: No, I can explain.
Vanessa: No! She threatened -- she threatened to totally destroy me with this thing if I didn't leave town. What are you going to do with her?
Greenlee: Oh, Vanessa, put a sock in it. I was trying to take care of us, ok?
Leo: Greenlee, you have to leave.
Greenlee: Leo --
Leo: No, I mean it. Get out of here now. Go.
Greenlee: What?
[Greenlee leaves in a huff]

Vanessa: Oh, God, thank you, thank you, thank you, both, because I don't know what she would have done if you hadn't --
David: I have a question for you, Mother.
Leo: Go easy, David.
David: And keep in mind I have a pretty well oiled garbage meter, ok?
Vanessa: Well? Fine. What -- what do you want to ask me?
David: One question -- where's Larry?

Chris: Where have you been?
Anna: Vanessa's Cortlandt's file. You're welcome. So what happened there with Ryan? When are you going to tell him the truth?

Chris: What truth? Anna: Whatever it is that's eating you up inside, Chris.
Anna: You know, Ryan's asked me to help him. Did you know that?
Chris: To help him what? Help him find out what happened to his father?
Anna: No. He knows that you killed him. I think he's interested in the rest of the story.
Chris: I think you need to stay the hell away from this.
Anna: Too late for that. Whatever it is that you are hiding from him, you better tell him because quite frankly, it is torturing the pair of you.
Chris: No!
Anna: Well, he's not going to back off. Neither will I. If you're not going to tell him, I will find out what it is and tell him for you.
Chris: Tell him what? Tell him that I'm his father?
Anna: You're Ryan's father?
Chris: Yeah.
Anna: Oh, my God. How --
Chris: I was working with the bureau for about 2 1/2 years, and I got assigned this case, Anna. And you should have seen her when I first met her. She was a scared young woman with an infant. I mean, she had a black eye, she had bruises all over her body, her arms, her legs, I --
Anna: So her husband --
Chris: Yeah, he was beating her. And then I made a mistake, the one mistake we're not supposed to make. I got personally involved, and then I promised her the moon. I said I'd get rid of this creep. I mean, I went the whole nine yards.
Anna: What happened? She got pregnant?
Chris: Yeah, but I didn't know it. And then I had her and her first kid living with me. I come home from work one day, and the both of them were gone. And so were some confidential records, some busts I had planned, some crooked cops that I was about to make break on. But she was courteous enough. She left me a note, told me what a sucker I was for believing in her.
Anna: Are you're sure -- this doesn't really prove that you're Ryan's father.
Chris: Well, he was born nine months later, Anna. Like the last time I checked, that's how long it takes.
Anna: God, Chris, you have to tell him. You know that.
Chris: No, I don't. And if you tell him, I'll ruin you.

[Back in his motel room - Ryan remembers]
Ryan's voice: "Stamp of Approval"? Does that sound familiar? Back of my mother's picture? That was your handwriting, you son of a bitch.
Chris' voice: Calm down, Ryan.
Ryan's voice: I asked you point-blank, and you told me, you said to me -- you looked me in the eye and you said that you did not know my mother. You lied to me! You tell me why!

Erica: Did you know about this?
Bianca: No.
Erica: Frankie never told you that she had a twin?
Bianca: Look, what are you doing here?
Erica: I came to see you. I heard that last night at SOS something happened.
Maggie: I happened.
Erica: What?
Bianca: It's stupid, ok? It's stupid. It's nothing. I fainted. I'm fine, fine.
Erica: Well, look, I am so sorry.
Maggie: The way you came down on me just now, when you thought I was my sister? Is that how you always spoke to Frankie?
Erica: Excuse me?
Maggie: You know, if you had the chance, you would have ripped my lungs out. My sister was not a monster. She wasn't all the things you said she was. What's your problem, Lady?
Erica: You don't understand.
Maggie: You've got that right.
Erica: Look, I'm sorry. What's your name?
Maggie: Maggie.
Erica: Maggie. Maggie, your sister --
Bianca: Whoa, whoa, whoa, Mom, stop right there. I'm not going to let you badmouth Frankie in front of her sister and me, ok? I mean it.
Erica: Bianca-
Bianca: No, no, this is deja vu. This is like you're doing this to me once again. I --
Erica: Bianca, Honey, please, I -- I just thought that --
Bianca: Well, you just thought wrong, ok, like always, so why don't you just go.
Erica: Oh, Bianca --
Bianca: Just go. Go.
[Door closes]
[Erica leaves]

Vanessa: Where's Larry? Well, he's been fired. I don't know where he is.
David: Well, you said he got physical with you, right?
Vanessa: Yes, yes. He came back. He wanted -- oh, he was serious. He wanted lots more money.
David: Did he hurt you?
Vanessa: No. No. Well, what is this?
David: Leo?
Leo: I found your trunk.
Vanessa: My trunk?
David: Yes. You remember your trunk, don't you, Mother?
Vanessa: What?
David: Yeah, the one that weighed a ton, had a ringing cell phone in it.
Vanessa: Well, where? Where is my trunk?
Leo: I found it floating in Willow Lake.
Vanessa: Floating, in Willow Lake?
David: Knock it off. Stop trying to come up with a lie. Tell us the truth.
Vanessa: What truth? What truth? So my trunk was stolen. I mean -- I -- what do you want from me?
[Leo holds up Larry's bracelet]
David: I see you recognize it, mother. So did your son. Your boyfriend Larry was wearing it when he beat up Leo.
Leo: Mother, did -- is Larry dead?

Anna: We're resorting to threats now, are we?
Chris: You still want that job as chief of police? I'm going to get the collar on Proteus. You help me, I'll cut you in and I'll share the credit with you. Either thing will bring you that job on a silver platter.
Anna: All this to keep Ryan from finding out you're his father.
Chris: Look, the only thing he has left to believe in is that his mother was burned by this creep, and I am not going to take this away from him along with everything else.
Anna: Why are you protecting this woman after what she did to you?
Chris: I'm protecting Ryan. Look, his mother was a lowlife, just like his father was.
Anna: You're his father.
Chris: All right, the one that raised him, ok? Now, he's got nothing. Look what it did to his brother. It ruined his brother. He's lucky he got out. And I swear to you I will not take that away from him. I will not take away his last belief!
Anna: He has lost everything, Chris -- his parents, his brother, his wife. He needs you. God, can't you see that? You're probably all he has left in the world. You have to tell him the truth.

Kendall: Yo, six-pack! I have had an awesome morning. Can I buy you breakfast? What are you doing?
[Kendall sees that Ryan is packing]
Kendall: Ryan, don't go.

[Back at Enchantment]
Erica: You know, Greenlee, if you couldn't make the deadline for my autumn line rollout, then you really should have just let me know.
Greenlee: Erica, I'm right on target --
Erica: Is there anything I can trust you with? Is there anything that anybody in this building will do as they get paid to do without my having to baby-sit?
[Erica starts to break down and cry]
Greenlee: Erica, are you all right?
Greenlee: Erica? Erica?
[Greenlee puts her arms around Erica and comforts her]

Vanessa: Is Larry, my ex-chauffeur, dead? I mean -- you mean by my hand? Oh, what kind of insanity is this?
David: Well, he was more than your driver, wasn't he, Mother?
Vanessa: You stop this, both of you. Both of you, how could you?
David: Knock it off. Why don't you for once in your life just say something, anything real?
Vanessa: Leo --
Leo: Just --
Vanessa: What is --
Leo: Just answer the question, mother.
Vanessa: What -- what are you -- what do you want from me?
David: You caused my father to commit suicide. There's nothing that we wouldn't think you're capable of.
Vanessa: I don't -- I did no such thing! I did not kill your father! He killed himself -- no! David, what are you --
Leo: What are you doing? What are you -- who are you calling?
David: The police. It's about time, Leo, don't you think?
Vanessa: Oh no.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Greenlee: Getting rid of Kendall is a project I could totally sink my teeth into.

Ryan: Stay where you are. I'll be right there.

Chris: With any luck, this will close the Proteus case.

Hayley: The disk can prove you're not Proteus.

Vanessa: I'll tell you everything, every dreaded detail.
