ALL MY CHILDREN

JANUARY 11, 2001

Edmund: So Brooke and I were going out for drinks when you called.
Brooke: Is this news about Alex?
Edmund: A new development?
Dimitri: Well, it's not encouraging. The trace we had on her phone call?
Edmund: They couldn't pinpoint the origin?
Dimitri: No, no, they bounced it from one location to another. Finally, they couldn't track it back.
Edmund: So we're back to square one.
Dimitri: Well, we know that Alex is alive and we have to hold on to that.
Brooke: And not give up hope.
Dimitri: Yeah.
Edmund: We are going to bring her home, ok?

[Door closes]

Edmund: We're going to find Alex if we have to move heaven and earth.

Erica: Dimitri. Dimitri. Just the man I want to see.
Brooke: Did you hear the doorbell?
Dimitri: What brings you out on such a cold night, Erica?
Erica: Dimitri, I have a favor to ask you. I've had a brainstorm about my upcoming Enchantment campaign. I'm thinking rustic. I'm thinking earth tones. I'm thinking back to nature.
Brooke: I'm thinking of a number from one to 10.
Erica: I think that the stables would be the perfect backdrop. The stables here at Wildwind? Perfect backdrop for my next shoot.
Brooke: Oh, for the Mr. And Mrs. Ed Campaign.
Erica: No, for the Ms. Young Enchantment campaign.
Dimitri: Wait, wait, wait. This means that you and Bianca have patched things up, then?
Erica: Look, Bianca has made it very, very clear to me that she does not want to be a model for Enchantment or anything else, for that matter. But I found another girl, Shannon -- a girl at the high schools. She's feminine, she's frilly, she's fun.
Brooke: Erica, you fired your daughter because she's gay?

Laura: Whoo! Man, it is too cold to breathe.
Bianca: Oh. It beats the deep freeze at home.
Laura: Bianca, your mom's just -- she's just running scared.
Bianca: Like I'm not? It's my life, Laura, but she's the one that gets to throw tantrums and say the most hurtful, hateful things.
Laura: She's just not thinking straight.
Bianca: Thinking straight is what she does best.
Laura: You just -- you got to give her some time and some space.
Bianca: I have. I have, Laura, believe me. But I can't give her what she wants most, which is for me to stop being gay. Now, if I asked her to stop being straight, she'd self-destruct. So on to plan B. She hires a surrogate daughter to smile big for the cameras and waits for another guy to come along and make her life complete. That is so not me, and it has nothing to do with my being gay. I don't need anybody to tell me who I am.
Laura: Well, you go, girl.
Bianca: Now, if I could only say that to my mom's face.
Laura: Bianca, do you get the feeling that we're not alone?
Bianca: No. Quit trying to scare me.
Laura: No, I mean it. The hairs on my neck are saluting. You think there's someone out there? Let's go check it out.
Bianca: Ok.

[Man screams]

[Bianca and Laura scream]

Tad: Oh, Pop. Come on in. You got my page, huh?
Joe: Yes, I did.
Tad: Good, good.
Joe: Sounded urgent. I came straight from work. What's up?
Tad: I -- I got to ask you and Mom a big favor, ok?
Joe: Ask away.
Tad: Can you watch Junior for a few days? I mean, I know it's last-minute and everything, but the fact is that Becca's still in Pigeon Hollow and Adam and Liza are going through this big thing and --
Joe: Slow down, slow down. Of course we can watch after him. What's going on?
Tad: I -- I'd like to take Dixie away for a few days, you know, to the Bahamas.
Joe: Bahamas?
Tad: Yeah. Yeah.
Joe: What's the occasion?
Tad: No occasion. What, I need an excuse to take my wife away on a holiday? I mean, I love her and we need a little romance, that's all. Aren't those reasons enough? What? What's with the look, Pop? If you got something on your mind, just say it. You know, get it off your chest.
Joe: All right, all right, look, you know, when you come out with a sudden trip like this, a romantic getaway, can't help popping into my mind that maybe things are not all so hot with you and Dixie. David Hayward's not causing more problems for you, is he?
Tad: No. Hayward's not the one screwing up my marriage. I am.

Leslie: Is that my bad boy coming back for seconds?
Leslie: Tad, you keep this up and you are going to wear me out.
[Dixie and Leslie come face-to-face]

Tad: I made a mistake. A big mistake. It's something I can't take back. And in doing so, I disrespected my wife and I disrespected my family.
Joe: Well. What happened?
Tad: I don't even know where to begin. Remember Thanksgiving? The morning after Ryan's party on the yacht when I felt so sick to my stomach in mom's kitchen?
Joe: Uh-huh.
Tad: Turns out what was really happening, I was crash-landing off a major Libidozone high.
Joe: Well, you certainly weren't alone. ER Was filled with patients with the same symptoms.
Tad: I'm not surprised. Lot of people drank that punch, Dad. A lot of people did some pretty strange things.
Joe: And you did something you're not proud of.
Tad: Pop, I was so out of it, I thought my head was going to explode, you know? I thought I was going to kill somebody. Eventually, I blacked out. But not before I had sex with Leslie Coulson.
Joe: Ooh. Well. I guess that explains why you were so concerned when Leslie came to see me. You were afraid she told me about your affair.
Tad: It wasn't an affair, Dad -- not to me. It was just one stupid drug-induced night. But somehow it -- it managed to mean more to Leslie, who is not the most stable person in the world. So, yeah, I was afraid. Scared to death is more like it.
Joe: Oh, Son. You should've said something. It's lousy that you had to bear this whole thing all by yourself.
Tad: I didn't. I told Liza. How ironic is that, considering that sleeping with Liza cost me my marriage the first time around? Anyway, Liza has been urging me to tell Dixie the truth.
Joe: Mm-hmm.
Tad: And I can't do it, Pop. I just can't. You know, any time I even come close to telling Dixie what happened, I -- I panic. I'm afraid I'm going to lose her and this time I'm not going to get her back.
Joe: All right, look, Dixie is a very forgiving young woman.
Tad: Oh, don't I know it. But how many miracles in one life am I supposed to get?
Joe: Right, right, but listen, you're guilty with an excuse. You were drugged, after all.
Tad: And so was Dixie. And I didn't see her jumping into a stateroom with Dr. Hayward.
Joe: Yeah. Well, she loves you, and love can forgive an awful lot.
Tad: But only so many times. Dad, she took me back because I swore to her on bended knee that I would never hurt her like that again, and I did it. I cheated and I lied about it, and it's not going to matter that I was on some drug. Dixie is never going to forgive me.
Joe: You don't know that. You have to give Dixie a chance, have to give your marriage a chance.
Tad: Well, I'm trying. You know, that's why I planned this trip.
Joe: Oh, Son. You know I'll support you in every way I can.
Tad: Thank you.
Joe: Oh, I'm going to go get Junior, hmm?
Tad: Yeah.
Joe: Tad? It is what you said? It was a one-night stand?
Tad: I swear. There is only one woman in my life, and that is Dixie. She's the only woman that I love.
Joe: I believe you, Tad.

Leslie: Dixie. I thought you were someone else.
Dixie: Obviously.
Leslie: What are you -- what are you doing here?
Dixie: I'm looking for my husband. Is that who you were expecting?
Leslie: No.
Dixie: Your little "bad boy who's coming back for seconds?"
Leslie: Well, I didn't mean Tad.
Dixie: Let me see if I can quote you correctly. "Tad, if you keep this up --" um, um, um -- "you're going to wear me out."
Leslie: Oh, that. Well, I mean, that was business. Tad had me working overtime.
Dixie: I just bet he did.
Leslie: Prepping contracts.
Dixie: Leslie, I know that you're not working for Chandler Enterprises anymore. How long have you been sleeping with my husband?
Leslie: Dixie, is that what you think? I mean, all of this stuff -- it belongs to a man that I've been seeing.
Dixie: A married man? A man that happens to look exactly like my husband? You know, I -- I -- I gave him this pen. And in case there's any confusion, the inscription on the wedding band reads "together forever, love Dixie," you bitch!
Leslie: Oh, Dixie, I am so, so sorry. I never meant for this to happen.

David: What the hell's going on here? Dixie, let's get out of here. Come back to my room.
Dixie: How long? How long have you been sleeping with my husband?
Leslie: I think that's a subject you should take up with Tad.
David: Tad really made himself right at home here. Dixie, I'm so sorry. I had no idea.
Dixie: Isn't this what you wanted?
David: No. No, not when I've seen how much it's cost you. Dixie, wait.

Leslie: David, wait. Let sweet little Dixie Belle fly away home. Am I good or what?

Laura: Should -- should we make a run for it?
Bianca: My cell phone is in my bag.
We could call for help. Come on.
Laura: Wait, wait, don't leave me alone.
Bianca: Ok, come on.
Laura: Ok, go, go.
Leo: Ahhhhh!

[Bianca and Laura scream]

Leo: Gotcha!
Bianca: Leo, that's so not funny!
Laura: God, you scared us half to death!
Bianca: Was that you shrieking?
Leo: What, you never heard of a primal scream? It cleanses the soul, releases the nasties that clog your karma.
Laura: Yeah, well, next time try yoga. It's quiet.
Leo: No, yoga's for the body. Screaming is for the mind, my friend.
Laura: Yeah, you really lost yours.
Bianca: Any man crazy enough to brave the winter cold to scream his guts out must have spent the night with Greenlee Smythe.
Leo: Oh, smarty-face. I have an announcement to make. I'm officially over Greenlee Smythe.
Bianca: So now what? Going to Disney World?
Leo: Maybe. I have no immediate plans. All I know is things are looking up.
Laura: Yeah? Want to test that prediction? I'll be right back.

Erica: How dare you. And yet how typical -- forever jumping to the wrong conclusion. No, I certainly did not fire my daughter.
Dimitri: Erica, why did you decide to use another model?
Erica: Well, as I told you, Dimitri, Bianca has made it extremely clear that she does not want to model. And so I saw this girl and she had the look and I just -- you know, I seized the moment.
Dimitri: And when did the moment occur?
Erica: At the high school.
Dimitri: Erica, I dropped you off at the high school to talk with Bianca, not to go on a talent search.
Erica: Dimitri, I was not on a talent search. But, I mean, who am I to fly in the face of inspiration?
Dimitri: Did you -- did you speak with Bianca?
Erica: Yes. Of course I did.
Dimitri: Is she all right?
Erica: Yes, she is. Bianca is all right. I, on the other hand -- I have a multimillion-dollar company I need to salvage with this new ad campaign. And so I'm wondering, Dimitri, will you walk me down to the stables? Would you consider allowing me to use this as my next location?
Brooke: Would you guys mind much if I had a minute to talk to Erica?
Erica: Am I not in the room?
Edmund: No, that's fine. Listen, we have some calls to make in the study.
Dimitri: Yeah, a quick, quick call.
Edmund: Yep.
Erica: All right. Well, then, Dimitri, I'll just wait here for you.
Dimitri: Yeah, just a quick call.

Erica: Ok. Who do you think you are? This is not even your home. I mean, who do you think you are to give orders?
Brooke: Can we talk as one mother to another?
Erica: I have nothing to say to you.
Brooke: Well, then I suggest that you sit down because I have a lot to say to you.
Erica: If you think for one minute that I'm going to stand here while you sit in judgment of me --
Brooke: Erica, I am not judging you. But maybe your conscience is.
Erica: Oh, spare me the dime-store Freud. You know, editing a magazine doesn't give you the knowledge or the right to analyze me.
Brooke: You know, maybe a few sessions on the couch would help you come to grips with this fear that you have.
Erica: I'm not afraid of anything.
Brooke: Oh, bull! You're afraid of your own daughter.
Erica: Well, this is totally absurd.
Brooke: Is it? You know, when Laura told me that Bianca was the one who pushed her over the yacht railing and left her to drown, I didn't want to believe it because Bianca is a sensitive, caring young girl. It didn't seem possible that she could do something that was so terrible.
Erica: On the other hand, it didn't stop you from running right away to confront me with it and spreading that filthy lie that Bianca did it.
Brooke: And I'm sorry. I am so sorry. I really am. I was wrong and I apologized. But what was -- what depressed me then and what upsets me now is that Bianca -- her willingness to let people believe something so terrible about her secret.
Erica: Her secret, as you call it, is none of your business.
Brooke: It's everybody's business. There are teenagers all across this country, all across the world -- young men and young women who would literally rather die than not have their parent's love or have their disapproval, and it's not right. Bianca is not someone to be ashamed of.
Erica: How dare you! Of course I'm not ashamed of Bianca. And look at this - isn't it easy for you to be objective. I mean, none of this is happening to you.
Brooke: It might have. I mean, my daughter died young. I don't know what kind of a young woman she would have turned out to be.
Erica: You have another daughter. You have an adopted daughter. Are you saying to me if she came to you and she announced that she was gay that you'd say, "oh, all right"? That's it? Is that what you want me to believe?
Brooke: I love Laura. You know, whoever she is, whoever she turns out to be, she will always have my love and my blessing.
Erica: Really? Liar!

David: You took a big risk putting this scam into motion.
Leslie: Listen, you want something badly enough, you go after it and you take no prisoners.
David: You set your trap. How did you know that Dixie was going into walk into it?
Leslie: Dixie may come from the backwoods, but she isn't stupid. I smeared lipstick on Tad's collar. Any dedicated Hausfrau would be sure to spot it.
David: And why would she think that that lipstick was yours?
Leslie: I made sure she saw me applying it at the Crystal Ball. Then when she pointed out the stain to Tad, he probably said that I had a wild crush on him or that I threw myself at him.
David: Not straying too far from the truth.
Leslie: Any woman would definitely suspect her husband of fooling around, especially when her husband has a rep for being a bad boy. I knew that Dixie couldn't stay away. So when she showed up, I was ready for her.
David: So when Tad insisted that you were only a drug-induced one-night stand?
Leslie: Well, Dixie knew otherwise. I mean, the room says it all. We've been carrying on for weeks.
David: I wonder what Dixie's next move is going to be.
Leslie: That's a no-brainer. She's ending her marriage as we speak. Then we both get what we wanted, right, David? That was the master plan.

Tad: That's it. Two first-class seats confirmed. Ok, good. I want you to messenger them over right now because by this time tomorrow, I am going to be sipping Mai Tai's, staring at a tropical sunset from our balcony.

Dixie: Tad.
Tad: Whoa. Whoa. Sweetheart, hi. Just a second, all right? Listen, I got to go. Thanks for your help, all right? Baby, there you are. Where have you been? Man.
Dixie: Who was on the phone?
Tad: Oh, nothing. That's just business. You know, Chandler Enterprises is planning a little retreat. What is it? What's wrong?
Dixie: You look nervous. Like I caught you doing something you shouldn't be doing.
Tad: No, I -- no, you know, if I'm nervous, it's only because I had no idea where you disappeared to. I mean, I got out of the shower and, you know, you were gone. A little weird. My ring. Babe, I've been looking all over for that. I knew I took it off before I took a shower.
Dixie: It was by the bed.
Tad: No, it wasn't. I looked there.
Dixie: Not our bed. The bed that you've been sharing with your mistress.
Tad: What are you talking about?
Dixie: I saw it. I went to the Valley Inn
Tad: Saw what?
Dixie: Room 909. Where you meet your whore.
Tad: No, wait, wait, just a second. You're not making any sense.
Dixie: You're going to really make me say it, aren't you? I saw it. I saw you and Leslie outside a room that's registered in your name.
Tad: That's impossible.
Dixie: Don't! I saw you! I saw you!
Tad: I --
Dixie: The two of you together this afternoon!
Tad: Honey, I was there, ok? I was there. I admit that, but that's not my room. That had nothing to do with it. It's Leslie's.
Dixie: Yes, Leslie. The woman who's been obsessed with you for months? Who won't leave you alone? Who left her glove here? Who gave you a crystal champagne glass for Christmas?
Tad: She tell you that?
Dixie: She didn't have to tell me that. I was there! I was inside your cozy little bachelor pad, Tad. You gave her perfume. You gave her my perfume, the one that I wear. What's that for, camouflage? So I won't smell her on you after you have sex with her?
Tad: Hold on just a second, ok? I know you think you know what you're talking about, but I -- I am totally clueless.
Dixie: Don't insult me by lying. I was there. I saw it. I saw your clothes, your ties, your engraved pen, your wedding ring.
Tad: Oh, my God. Wait a minute. Whatever you saw in that room, ok, you got to believe me, I had nothing to do with.
Dixie: Ok. Ok, you know, if I'm wrong, I will be the first to admit it. I promise you, I will crawl on my hands and knees through broken glass and beg your forgiveness, depending on how you answer this one question. And for god's sake, be honest with me, Tad. If I mean anything to you, if our marriage means anything to you, you will tell me the truth. Did you -- did you sleep with Leslie Coulson?
Tad: Yes. But it wasn't like that. I -- I -- I had sex with her.
Dixie: No, no.
Tad: Can we please just talk about it?
Dixie: No, no, no. I've really heard more than I can bear.
Tad: No, Honey, please don't go. Please, please, please. I'm begging you. I'm begging you. Whatever you do, don't go.

David: You don't know how this is all going to play out, Leslie. You can't assume that Tad and Dixie are finished.
Leslie: Oh, David, please. Don't spoil a perfect moment. You should be popping the champagne, toasting to your dream becoming a reality.
David: Dixie has a bad heart. All this stress could be really bad for her.
Leslie Dixie has been down these trenches before. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. What's not to say she won't need your manly shoulder to cry on? Come on, David, we scored our goal. We're both getting what we worked so hard for.
David: Yeah. I just can't help wondering if the price is really worth it. Call me if you hear anything.
Leslie: Likewise. Congratulations, David. This is what winning feels like.
David: Yeah. Congratulations.

Leo: My fingers are going to fall off.
Bianca: I'm ready.
Leo: What's that?
Laura: It's a fortune telling board. I got it in Hong Kong.
Bianca: You keep it in your car?
Laura: Yeah, well, it's more reliable than radio traffic reports. So you guys want to sneak a peek at the future?
Leo: What, you don't believe my forecast?
Laura: What, that you're really and truly over Greenlee?
Bianca: That you won't end up married and waiting in the limo while she shops till she drops?
Leo: That's not going to happen, believe me.
Laura: All right, let's see what the spirits he to say.
Leo: Fine. Rev this puppy up.
Bianca: All right. What do we do?
Laura: Ok. So everybody sits with their knees touching.
Bianca: Right.
Laura: And place your fingertips lightly on the pointer.
Bianca: Ok.
Laura: Leo, you go first.
Leo: Eenie, meenie, chili beanie, the spirits are about to speak.
Bianca: Be serious.
Leo: Ok, ok. Fine, fine. All right. Spirits of the board, will Greenlee Smythe and I get back together?
[Board points to no]

Leo: What'd I tell you?
Laura: Yeah, you were pushing.
Leo: Well, so were you.
Laura: What, like I care what happens between you and Greenlee?
Bianca: Laura, why don't you ask a question now?
Laura: Ok. Will I get into Pine Valley University?
[Board points to yes]

Laura: Yeah.
Leo: Congratulations, Miss Coed.
Laura: Ok, Bian
ca, you're next. Bianca: All right. I hear that these things can let you, like, communicate with the spirits. Like, talk to people who have passed over.
Leo: You mean dead people.
Bianca: Yeah.
Laura: Bianca, is there somebody you want to contact?
Bianca: Well, I know it sounds kind of silly, but it would be really neat to talk to my dad.

Erica: Really, Brooke? Your daughter announces that she's gay and you have no problem with it?
Brooke: Why is that so hard for you to believe?
Erica: Well, aren't you just so politically correct.
Brooke, I'm talking about your daughter. She looks you in the eye and she tells you that she is sexually attracted to women. And in the space of a minute, your life changes and your daughter is suddenly someone who you -- you don't even know.
Brooke: Why? Because she's not like you? I mean, why is that the end of the world?
Erica: Because she will be hurt! Because not everybody is as tolerant as you say you are. Come on, Brooke. You know what it's like in this town. You know how people just take everybody else's business. They don't care. They'll put a label on her. They'll stare at Bianca. They'll make her feel unwelcome in her own hometown.
Brooke: Are we still talking about Bianca?
Erica: Are you implying that I am concerned about my own public image?
Brooke: It doesn't take a psychiatrist to know that your image is everything to you -- you know, your public, their approval, their adoration. This news about Bianca might tarnish your shining star.
Erica: Oh, you don't know anything about me.
Brooke: Erica, I've known you a long time. I've known you to use your beauty and your looks to validate your existence. And the men in your life? You can't imagine a world without a man in it telling you how beautiful you are.
Erica: Oh. I know what this is all about. You're jealous.
Brooke: Of you? I wouldn't trade my life for yours for anything.
Erica: Well, you wouldn't know what to do with my life if you had it. Because you know something? You're right -- I have spent my life being loved by men while you've spent yours being victimized.
Brooke: Touché. Yes, I have made a lot of bad choices in my life, and I hopefully have learned from my mistakes. Erica, Bianca needs you to love her and accept her for who she is. And if you can't do that, as beautiful as you are, how will you be able to look at yourself in the mirror?
Erica: I think you need to get a life so you'll stop obsessing on mine.

Edmund: Uh, Brooke, we got to get going. We're going to miss that meeting with the art director.
Brooke: I'll wait for you in the car. Dimitri.

Edmund: Anything new on Alex, you let me know.
Dimitri: You got it. Are you all right?
Erica: Oh, you mean after being skewered by Brooke English?
Dimitri: Well, what -- you know, whatever Brooke said --
Erica: Dimitri -- am I a monster?

Laura: Bianca, you sure you want to mess with this?
Bianca: Why? Is it dangerous?
Laura: No, but it's real. I mean, it's not a game.
Leo: Cut it out, Laura. Yore scaring her.
Laura: Leo, you might not be a believer, but I am. Spirits of the people who've passed on are with us all the time. They just need help getting in touch.
Leo: All right, let's set this baby to warp-speed dial.
Laura: Leo, you have to be sincere for this to work.
Leo: Ok. All right. Ok. If I must.
Laura: Ok, Bianca. Whenever you're ready.
Bianca: What do I say?
Laura: Just call out your dad's name and talk to him.
Bianca: Daddy? It's me. I -- I really, really miss you a lot. I think about you all the time. And I feel -- I know you're with me. Daddy, I have this problem that I need to talk to you about.

[Leo gasps]

Laura: B. E.
Leo: P?
Laura: P. R. O. U.

[Leo gasps]

Laura: D.

Bianca: "Be proud."

Tad: I should have told you. I hate myself for not telling you. It happened the night of Ryan's party.
Dixie: Oh, I don't want to know! I really don't want to know when this all started, ok?
Tad: Wait, this all start-- hey, listen, it's not like what you think. It's not an affair. It was just that one night.
Dixie: I was in your room, ok? For crying out loud, if you were going to have an affair, you could have taken it a little further out of town.
Tad: I am not sharing a room with Leslie Coulson!
Dixie: Well, then how come the room's registered in your name? Can you explain that please?
Tad: No, I can't!
Dixie: You told me that she had gotten a job in Singapore. Was that to throw me off the track because I was getting too close, because I was getting too suspicious? Come on! I believed you.
Tad: Listen to me -- Leslie Coulson is not some kind of girlfriend. I don't want to have anything to do with her. I had sex with her once because I was stoned out of my mind. We all were. Don't you remember? Look, I hate the fact that it happened, but I had no control over the situation.
Dixie: You could have stopped this any time that you wanted to. David said the drug only makes you do what you want to do, and you wanted to have sex with Leslie, over and over and over!
Tad: No, no, no. No. No. You are the only woman that I want. And I have been true to you. I've been true to my vows, except for that one night.
Dixie: Oh, forget it. You know, I -- I don't even blame you! You are who you are. You're a serial cheater. I'm the stupid idiot that keeps forgiving you. I keep thinking that you're capable of something finer than that! Of something more important! Of being -- of being faithful! Well, that's pretty stupid, huh? And you swore to me! You swore to me that you would never, ever, ever hurt me this way again! But you have, over and over and over!
Tad: And it's killing me. Can't -- can't you see that? I am so sorry.
Dixie: Too late. I'm sorry, it's really too late. It's too late for us. It's too late for this marriage. I want you to pack up your stuff and get out, and I don't want you to be here when I get back, ok?
Tad: No. No, Baby, listen --
Dixie: No, don't. Don't you touch me! Don't you ever touch me again.

Laura: Leo, were you pushing?
Leo: No. Were you?
Laura: No. Bianca, we didn't spell that out on purpose.
Bianca: I know. I know. It was my dad. That was exactly what he would have said if I'd had the chance to tell him that I'm gay. "Be proud." I am, Daddy. I am.

Dimitri: Hey. You're not a monster. I don't know what Brooke said. I --
Erica: I don't want to think about what Brooke said anyhow. Dimitri, I don't want to be a horrible person. I love Bianca. I love Bianca more than anything in the world. I just -- I keep playing these thoughts through my head over and over and over again. And I just -- it's very difficult.
Dimitri: Ok. Ok, now. Why don't you sit down here, and I want you to do yourself a favor. I want you to stop thinking for the rest of the night. I want you to just be Erica.
Erica: Be Erica? You mean be myself? Is that enough?
Dimitri: It always has been.
Erica: Well, then I won't apologize for needing you.
Dimitri: It's ok.
[Knock on door]

ON THE NEXT - - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Dimitri: You told Alex to leave him?
Erica: She seems to have taken it to heart.

Laura: If you keep being nice to me, I'm going to cry.

Leslie: Why didn't you just use your key?

David: You're feeling something right now. Tell me what's really in your heart.
