ALL MY CHILDREN

JANUARY 21, 2002

PREVIOUSLY ON - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Vanessa: [As Proteus] You will go to the park. There's a pay phone there. When it rings at 7:00 Sharp, you will pick it up.

Bianca: I keep holding on to this book that Frankie gave me.
Leo: Bianca, what is it?
Bianca: I wish I knew.

Ryan: I want to see you rip someone apart when you yourself got away with murder.

TODAY'S - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

[Knock on door]
[Knock]
Ryan: What part of get lost --
Chris: A few things we got to clear up, Ryan.
Ryan: Fine. Why don't we start with this -- what do I have to do to get you out of my life?

Bianca: Leo, there's a page missing from the book Frankie gave me.
Leo: Was it the publisher's goof?
Bianca: No. Look, it looks like it was cut right out.
Leo: That's weird. Looks like it was sliced right to the spine with one of those razor thingy-dingys.
Bianca: Why would somebody do that? I mean, what am I not supposed to see?

[Mateo talks to Simone with a small microphone hidden in his shirt - he can hear her through a mini-speaker in his ear]
[Mateo is sitting in the park - Simone is parked out of site in her car]
Simone: Mateo, what's happening?
Mateo: It's not 7:00 yet. Chill.
Simone: Hey, I hate this. All right, Proteus could be setting you up, forcing you to sit in the open like that.
Mateo: You got my back, right?
Simone: Well, yeah.
Mateo: And you said you're a pro at staying invisible, right?
Simone: Yeah, I am, damn it. Mateo: Ok, well, there's not a problem, then.
Simone: Yeah, just one -- Proteus expects you to kill to prove your loyalty.
Mateo: It's not going to happen. It not going to go that far, Simone.
Simone: Yeah, well, what if you were t target? Did you think of that, huh? What if Proteus is planning to take you down?
Mateo: Will you relax? All right? You don't know what you're talking about.
Simone: Yeah, right.
[Noise]
Mateo: Houston, we have a problem.
Simone: Mateo? What's wrong? Mateo?

Vanessa: I told you, Greenlee, this is really not a good time.
Greenlee: Huh. Tough.
Vanessa: Well, tough, but I'm expecting a very important phone call.
Greenlee: It can wait.
Vanessa: Oh, it really can't. All right, I will give you five minutes, Darling. Exactly five, not a second more.
Greenlee: What is with you, anyway? You're wound tighter than your last face-lift, Vanessa.
Vanessa: Oh, well, you know, your time is ticking away, Darling.
Greenlee: Wait a minute. This case of the nerves isn't because you're expecting the phone to ring.
Vanessa: No.
Greenlee: No? You're waiting for your boy toy to show.

Mateo: Hey. What are you doing?
Man: What does it look like, Einstein? I'm using the phone.
Mateo: Yeah, well, go use another one. I'm waiting for a call.
Man: You're making a connection?
Mateo: What?
Man: Look, my car broke down, my cell phone died, I got to make a call. I'm already late for my wine-tasting club. This won't take long.
Mateo: You're right, you're right, it's not going to take long.
[Mateo pushes man away from phone]
Man: Hey! Where the hell do you get off --
Mateo: Shut up. Shut up. Go find another phone. Go take a cab, all right?
[Mateo hands the man a hundred dollar bill]
Man: Is that real?
Mateo: Yeah, it's real.
[The man takes the money and leaves]
Mateo: Come on.
Mateo: Nine more minutes. Come on.

Vanessa: I think you should leave now, Dear.
Greenlee: I think you should shut up and listen.
Vanessa: Oh!
Greenlee: Leo told me all about your sordid little tryst with your driver. Tell me something -- does Larry charge extra for mileage or is that included in his paycheck?
Vanessa: How dare you.
Greenlee: How dare you. Back-seat quickies in between trips to the Glamorama?
Vanessa: What makes you think you can walk in here and speak to me like that?
Greenlee: I love your son, Vanessa. And your stud-for-hire beat the crap out of him.
Vanessa: Yes, and I've already dealt with him.
Greenlee: Yeah, I'll bet. [As Vanessa] Come here, bad boy, I'm going to spank you into next week.
Vanessa: How vulgar can you be?
Greenlee: [Normal voice] How wicked can you be? Do you have the first clue about Leo? How sweet he is? How sensitive? He deserves to be happy.
Vanessa: And keeping him happy is now your job, isn't it?
Greenlee: Keeping him alive is my job. He's lived in a world of hurt because of you. Do you care? Do you know that your son's worst nightmare is morphing into a selfish user like you?
Vanessa: Oh, that's enough.
Greenlee: No, no, I'm just getting warmed up. I can't undo the damage you've done, but I can make a difference in Leo's life by keeping you out of it.
Vanessa: Your five minutes are up, Dear, now.
Greenlee: No, I'm not going anywhere until we understand each other.
Vanessa: You will leave now, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Or what, Vanessa? You're going to have your boyfriend beat me up?

Leo: So the book was sliced up when you got it?
Bianca: I don't know. I mean, I didn't notice it till today.
Leo: Well, backtrack.
Bianca: Ok, well, Opal gave the book to Dixie to give to me, but it was right after Frankie had died, and I couldn't deal, so I put it away. And then Opal gave it to me again, and that's when it got lost, and Myrtle found it and gave it to you to give to me.
Leo: So the page could have been cut out while it was out of your hands.
Bianca: Maybe. Or maybe Frankie cut it out.
Leo: Because why?
Bianca: Leo, I haven't a clue. Maybe the poem was special to her. I don't suppose you have a copy of Shakespeare's sonnets lying around, do you?
Leo: Yeah, Willie the Shake? No, it's all up there in my head.
Bianca: Yeah, right. Leo, you can barely remember your phone number.
Leo: Oh, thank you. You know, Jake lives in this building. He's a sensitive guy. Maybe he has a copy.
Bianca: This will be much faster.
Leo: You got to be kidding me. Shakespeare on the web?
Bianca: Yeah, of course. I just have to call up the search engine and enter the sonnet number. What is it? What's the sonnet?
Leo: Sonnet Number 144. Catchy title.
Leo: Bianca, you all right?
Bianca: It's weird. I feel like Frankie's right here. I mean, that book is really all I have left of her. And I think it might be her way of getting in touch with me.
Leo: She didn't seem like the poetry-reading type.
Bianca: Yeah, I know, but people are almost never what they seem, Leo. I mean, sometimes who you think you see isn't who you see at all.

Chris: Why don't you take it easy? I just want a minute of your time.
Ryan: You are really bent, you know that?
Chris: Just hear me out. Come on. Thank you.
Ryan: So tell me something -- is that what they teach you at Quantico, to stalk your prey? Because every time I turn around, you're, like, right in my face.
Chris: Yeah, well, it seems like circumstances just keeps throwing us together.
Ryan: What circumstances?
Chris: I saw you at Erica's trial today. You heard me cross-examining Kendall.
Ryan: Yeah, so did half the town.
Chris: And I gave her a pretty tough time when she was up on the stand.
Ryan: You're just doing your job.
Chris: That's right. Held her feet to the fire.
Ryan: So?
Chris: So I didn't enjoy it.
Ryan: So, wait, this is what you came here to tell me?
Chris: I came here to tell you that it was nothing personal. I don't know Kendall, so I have no ax to grind with her.
Ryan: Oh, spare me, please. They pay you to rip Kendall apart, all right, to make it look like her sole reason for living is to pay Mommy back because she deserted her.
Chris: Erica did not desert her.
Ryan: You know what? I don't care. Call it what you want. I'm not defending her.
Chris: You're not?
Ryan: Kendall had a pretty sweet life. All right? If I think about how many times I wish I was an orphan --
Chris: You know, that crack she made about me when she was on the stand about me being a hit man for hire --
Ryan: Just forget it, all right? I don't want to talk about Kendall. Do you understand? I don't give a damn about her.
Chris: Well, for somebody who doesn't give a damn, you two spend a lot of time together. If I come over here, you're either in her room or she's in yours.
Ryan: Well, if it bothers you, then why don't you just stay away? I still have no idea what the hell you're doing here.
Chris: Well, after the grilling you saw me give Kendall today, I didn't want you to think that --
Ryan: Oh, are you for real? Why do you give a damn what I think?
Chris: Ryan, you've got every right in the world to be mad.
Ryan: I don't need your permission.
Chris: Look, I know where you're coming from. If there's anything I've learned about life, it can go from bad to worse in the blink of an eye.
Ryan: Just save the life lesson, all right?
Chris: Years back, I was just like you.
Ryan: What the hell? Is this some sort of, like, macho bonding exercise? Yeah, what, you want to sit around and, like, bang drums and smoke peace pipes? No, thanks!
Chris: Look, why don't you just wake up and open your eyes. You're a young man. You don't have to go through the rest of your life hating everyone, thinking for something and wanting something better, something more, always feeling like it's out of your reach.
Ryan: You bastard. At the Crystal Ball, you were listening while I was talking to Gillian out loud. You -- my God, I can't even have a private conversation with my dead wife without you horning in?
Chris: Look, Gillian's not here anymore. Why don't you let me help you?
Ryan: Help what? You have a guilt complex and you want a pass.
Chris: No, I'm just trying to let you understand that I am not your enemy.
Ryan: You ambushed my dad and you killed him in cold blood. What, do you want me to make that right for you? You want me to forgive you? You want me to let go of my anger so you can sleep at night? Well, you can forget about it! Because that is just not going to happen.

Bianca: "Two loves I have of comfort and despair, which like two spirits do suggest me still. The better angel is a man right fair. The worser spirit, a woman colored ill."
Leo: Shakespeare made English sound like a foreign language.
Bianca: I think it's beautiful.
Leo: You actually understand what that means?
Bianca: I get a feeling from it.
Leo: No, I got a headache from it.
Bianca: Leo, don't you have any poetry in your soul?
Leo: Maybe a few assorted limericks.
[Leo laughs]
Leo: So what do you think that they meant by those -- the "two spirits" thing?
Bianca: I think it's about a person being pulled in two different directions, trying to figure out who they are.
Leo: Keep reading it.
Bianca: "To win me soon to hell, my female evil tempteth my better angel from my side and would corrupt my saint to be a devil, wooing his purity with her foul pride."
Leo: Ok, ok. So what does that mean?
Bianca: I think Frankie was trying to be a good person, trying to be a person that she was inside.
Leo: You mean the way that you saw her when you looked into her eyes.
Bianca: Mm-hmm. I mean, she was probably really torn. It probably took a lot for her to be able to trust me and to be able to trust what she felt.
Leo: For you?
Bianca: Yeah. I mean, I don't think she was expecting to fall in love with anybody. But even if she was, for it to be me --
Leo: Because you're a woman?
Bianca: Yeah. Leo, I think that Frankie was coming to grips with the fact that she was bisexual or probably gay. At least, I think she was. I have so many questions, and I'm sure she had them, too.
Leo: So you think that this is some sort of a secret message?
Bianca: Maybe.
Leo: Why would --
Bianca: I don't know, I'm guessing.
Leo: Why would she take one of the papers out before she gave it to you, then?
Bianca: Maybe it made her uncomfortable the way she felt. Maybe it revealed the true Frankie and that scared her.

Simone: Mateo, what happened? Who were you talking to?
Mateo: Nothing. Some bozo wanted to use the phone, and I got rid of him.
Simone: Bozo? Did Proteus send him? I don't like this feeling. This feels all wrong.
Mateo: Will you give it a rest, please? Relax.
Simone: You into Hitchcock?
Mateo: What?
Simone: He did this movie -- "The Man Who Knew Too Much," hint, hint.
Mateo: Your point?
Simone: There's this scene in this great, big concert hall. Someone's supposed to get killed at a certain time, and the gunshots are disguised by the sound of the great crashing cymbals. Crash, crash!
Mateo: Simone?
Simone: Yes?
Mateo: I'm in a park. I'm not in a concert hall. There's no music. There's just a bunch of trees.
Simone: The bells sound on the hour.
Mateo: What bells?
Simone: How long have you lived in this town? St. Timothy's, down the block.
Mateo: I can't believe this.
Simone: Mateo, look where you are -- alone, out in the open. I mean, if you are being set up, why not just paint a target on your back?
Mateo: Listen, Simone, this is our chance to find out who Proteus is. If you're not into it, that's fine --
Simone: No, I am into this.
Mateo: But I'm doing what I showed up for, ok?
Simone: Look ---

Vanessa: Greenlee, I really have heard enough of your Leo-love-Leo speeches. We'll catch up another time, Darling.
Greenlee: Oh! Oh. It's T-minus one minute till lover boy shows. What are you doing?
Vanessa: Having you thrown out. Oh --
[Vanessa starts to dial the phone and Greenlee pulls the cord out of the wall]
Greenlee: Whoops.
Vanessa: You stupid, stupid little twit!
Greenlee: You're not going anywhere! When Romeo knocks, you will not open the door.
[Vanessa gasps]

[Church bells ring]
[Man who tried to use the phone earlier - - returns]
Mateo: Proteus?
Man: Who?
Mateo: Did he send you?
Man: Hand over your wallet.
Mateo: What? You?
Man: I figured I could take a miss on the Merlot.
Mateo: What are you doing?
Man: This is a gun, nimrod, as in stickup. I figured there must be more hundreds where the first one came from. Come on, give me your wallet.
Mateo: All right, all right, all right.
Man: Give it here.
Mateo: Take it easy, take it easy.
Man: That's better.
Mateo: Ok?
[Mateo grabs the gun out of the man's hand]
Mateo: No, no, no, you can -- you can leave the wallet.
Man: Ok, ok.
Mateo: Go. Go!
Man: I'm going, I'm going!

Mateo: Not even loaded. Not even loaded.

Vanessa: Oh, you stupid, stupid little girl. You have no idea what you have done.
Greenlee: Huh. It's past 7:00. Looks like your driver stood you up.
Vanessa: Get out!
Greenlee: Not until we get one thing straight. Leo is worth a million of you. And if you can't love your son, at least treat him with the respect that he deserves or else kiss him good-bye.

Leo: So you think Frankie was scared?
Bianca: Yeah. But I wasn't.
Leo: And she knew that?
Bianca: Yeah, she -- she wrote me a letter. It came with the sonnets, and she said that she wanted me to know that I always -- she never tried to fool me, that I always knew the real Frankie, her true self. Like the voice inside her head. It was a secret from everybody, including herself.
Leo: Did she ever talk to you about, you know, being gay?
Bianca: Not really. I mean, I remember when I did tell her that I was gay. She said it made her like me more.
Leo: I wish I would have known her better. You know, it was like we were strangers.
Bianca: Yeah, well, I mean, she didn't do the whole family thing, Leo. She didn't like to be labeled. She didn't want to be tagged as any one thing. She hated it when people did things because other people expected them to. And she loved me. She really did.
Leo: Oh, Bianca. I'm sorry. Do you think that you two would have made it? You think you would have stayed together?
Bianca: I'll never know.
Leo: Oh.

Chris: Look, Ryan, I wish there was a way I could explain it to you.
Ryan: What's to explain? I mean, you hated my old man. It's a pretty safe bet that he hated you, too.
Chris: Look, you got to get straight on who your father really was.
Ryan: I know exactly who my father really was. I know what he was. What do you want from me? You want me to tell you that it was a good thing that you killed my father? You want me to thank you for it?
Chris: No, it wasn't a good thing.
Ryan: But it had to go down, right?
Chris: Yeah.
Ryan: I mean, that's what you tell yourself so you can live. That's what you want me to think, that agent Stamp was just doing his job, sweeping the trash off the streets.
Chris: He was trash, and you know that. The way he treated you, your mother, and your brother? So what do you care what happened to him?
Ryan: Because of what it did to her. You want me to tell you about the night he didn't come home? And the night after that? And the night after that? She turned into a monster, and he did that to her. She didn't start out that way.
Chris: I know she didn't.
Ryan: And the hell of it was I couldn't do anything to help her, stop her, nothing!
Chris: Look, Ryan, it wasn't your fault. Your mother had problems that had nothing to do with you.
Ryan: Wait a minute. You knew my mother?
Ryan: You talk to me, man. Did you know my mother?
Chris: I already told you about that.
Ryan: Yeah, yeah, yeah, right. Right, that if you knew my old man was married with kids, that you would have told us that he was dead.
Chris: That's right.
Ryan: That is such bull, and you know it.
Chris: It's the truth.
Ryan: Your hands were dirty. Stamp, the last thing you wanted was a family causing trouble, asking questions.
Chris: You don't know a damn thing about it, Ryan.
Ryan: Well, then, tell me! I mean, isn't that why you're here right now -- so we can get to know each other a little bit man to man? Tell you what -- I'll order a pizza and then I'll give you a tour of the hell my life became after you whacked my old man.
Chris: I'll get out of your way.
Ryan: You mean, until next time you show up at my door.
Chris: No, there ain't going to be no next time.
Ryan: Oh, why? What, are you giving up on me?
Chris: No, you've given up on you.
Ryan: And the help that you said that you -- I don't need your help. All right, you're the one that's messed up.
Chris: I won't be coming around here anymore.

Vanessa: Oh, Greenlee, I think -- I think you're right.
Greenlee: About?
Vanessa: I don't know, everything, everything.
Greenlee: Be more specific.
Vanessa: How can I have been such a bad influence on Leo? I mean, I -- I am an unfit mother.
Greenlee: Go on.
Vanessa: Look, I promise -- I promise from now on I will respect your boundaries. I --
Greenlee: Good. Starting when?
Vanessa: Immediately.
Greenlee: Apologize to Leo?
Vanessa: I will beg his forgiveness. I will do anything you ask to make sure he stays in my life.
Greenlee: You don't deserve him.
Vanessa: Oh, Darling, I know, I know, but Leo is my heart.
Greenlee: I'll be watching you, Vanessa. You step one toe back in the gutter, and it's bye-bye to your son.

[Greenlee leaves]
Vanessa: Oh, you nosy little twit, you will pay.
Vanessa: Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, there is not enough time. Everything perfectly positioned. Everyone -- proper place.

Mateo: Some jerk just tried to steal my wallet.
Simone: Are you sure that's all he wanted?
Mateo: Yeah, he didn't -- the gun wasn't even loaded. He didn't even know how to hold it.
Simone: If you say so.
Mateo: You see anything yet?
Simone: Nope.
Mateo: Why the hell hasn't Proteus called, huh?
[Phone rings]
Mateo: Yeah.
Proteus: Not tonight.
Mateo: No, no, no. You said 7:00. You said 7:00. I've been waiting here. Hello?
[Dial tone]
Mateo: Hello?
Mateo: Oh! Hey! Oh, man!

Bianca: Thank you.
Leo: It's all right.
Bianca: I'm just -- I'm doing this all the time now -- when I'm at school, when I'm walking home --
Leo: Go on, listen. It's going to be ok.
Greenlee: How you ever managed to survive that woman is beyond me.
Leo: Honey, we have company.
Greenlee: Hi, Bianca. I swear, Leo, she is such a Medusa. Why she doesn't turn to stone when she looks in the mirror is beyond me.
Leo: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa -- who we talking about?
Greenlee: Vanessa. I thought my mother was high maintenance.
Leo: Oh, you went -- you went to see my -- you went to see Vanessa? Are you kidding me?
Bianca: Leo, it's late. I'm going to go home.
Leo: Ok, all right, all right. Are you sure you can drive?
Bianca: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for letting me vent.
Leo: No, any of my shoulders are here whenever you need it, Bianca, ok? And if you solve the mystery of The Sonnet 144, you be sure to let me know, ok?
Bianca: Ok, I will. Good night, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Bye.
Leo: Bye-bye.

Greenlee: She looked wrung out.
Leo: She was.
Greenlee: She's not the only one. Your mother totally drains me.
Leo: So what's this about going to see my mom?
Greenlee: Lord, Leo, what a piece of work she is.
Leo: Yeah, I know this, but why -- why did you go see her?
Greenlee: I did it for you. I hate the way she messes up your life.
Leo: Well, that's her best event, Greenlee.
Greenlee: No, not anymore. I laid down the law.
Leo: My brave little Amazon. What started you on this crusade?
Greenlee: You did, remember? I guess you don't. You were hopped up on all those pain meds.
Leo: Did I say something?
Greenlee: You poured your heart out to me. You know what really got me?
Leo: What?
Greenlee: Even after you listed all of Vanessa's evil deeds, you still felt sorry for her.
Leo: I did? Ok, then I really was delirious.
Greenlee: Well, you were scared, Leo. You were afraid you were going to turn into Vanessa.
Leo: Me as Vanessa? Ok, Greenlee, you're starting to really freak me out.
Greenlee: Well, it's never going to happen. She is -- one of a kind.
Leo: Yeah, this is true.
Greenlee: There's more. Get out your barf bag. She was waiting for Mr. Stick Shift.
Leo: Oh. Did she tell you that?
Greenlee: No, she didn't have to. She was acting like a school girl getting ready for the prom. She couldn't wait to get rid of me so she could get ready for her limo lover.
Leo: Wait, are you sure about this? I mean, she wouldn't actually bring him to her suite, would she?
Greenlee: I think your mother's losing it. She's taking all of these chances, Leo. She's scaring me.

Vanessa: Damn it, Larry, pick up! There has been a sudden change in plans. Everything is off. Everything. And do not come back here tonight. Whatever you do, not -- do not come back to this room.

Simone: What happened?
Mateo: Nothing. I stayed there just like Proteus wanted me to, followed orders, and nothing happened. Nothing.
Simone: Nothing.
Mateo: Well, I did get mugged. Yeah, that did happen.
Simone: Well, maybe Proteus was doing that to try to throw you off.
Mateo: No, no, it was just my luck.
Simone: Well, maybe your intended target just got delayed somehow.
Mateo: So what? He just calls the whole thing off? Now I have to wait for him to reschedule this thing and go through this whole thing again? No, I am not doing that. I'm not going to do it.
Mateo: Simone --
[Simone kisses Mateo]
Simone: Bet you're wondering where that came from.
[Phone rings]
Mateo: Yeah. Hey, Babe. No, no. Everything's cool.

Vanessa: Hmm.
[Knock on door]
Vanessa: Larry. What are you doing her did you not get my message?
Larry: What message?
Vanessa: I called you. I told you --
Larry: Santos never showed.
Vanessa: I told you not to come back here. Now you've got to leave before Palmer gets back.
Larry: What's the big deal?
Vanessa: Oh, it's a big deal.
Larry: I'm the chauffeur. No one's going to suspect that I --
Vanessa: What? What is it? Is something wrong with you?
Larry: I can't breathe.
Vanessa: Really?

Greenlee: I take it back. Vanessa doesn't scare me. She's hot air all wrapped up in a designer suit.
Leo: Oh, can we please stop talking about my mother? Makes my stomach queasy and it makes my head hurt.
Greenlee: Aw, poor baby. Need another pain pill?
Leo: Yeah, please?
Greenlee: What was Bianca doing here? You started to say --
Leo: Oh, you noticed that Bianca was here.
Greenlee: She seemed upset. I guess if your mother was on trial for murder --
Leo: Actually, she was over here to talk about Frankie. Frankie gave her a book of sonnets, and one of the pages was missing, and she thinks that somebody did it on purpose.
Greenlee: What about it?
Leo: She thinks that Frankie was trying to tell her something.
Greenlee: Ooh. A message from beyond the grave, huh?
Leo: Oh, come on. Be nice. Bianca loved Frankie. We pulled up one of the poems on the computer.
Greenlee: Mystery solved?
Leo: No. Bianca's still completely in the dark.

[Ryan reads what is written on the back of his mother's picture]
Ryan: "Stamp of approval"?
[Ryan remembers]
Kendall: Listen Buddy, I --
Ryan and Chris: Hey, don't call me that.
Kendall: Whoa. What was that all about?
Ryan: I just don't like being called that, all right?
Kendall: Neither do you, obviously. Hmm. You're two of a kind.
Ryan: What?
Chris: You're crazy.
Kendall: No. No, you really are alike. Look at you. Both here doing your white knight thing.

[Phone rings]
Chris: Stamp. Hey, Morrie. Look, you get that information that I wanted? Good. Look, hold on a sec. All right, go ahead. D.O.B. John Ryan Curry? January 18, 1974. Yeah, I got it. Yeah, you, too.

Chris: January 18, 1974.
Chris: Oh -- damn you, woman.

Mateo: Hayley, listen, I -- it's not safe to talk right now. I'll check in later, all right? All right. Bye.

Simone: Mateo --
Mateo: Something went wrong tonight.
Simone: Yeah. Proteus missed a deadline.
Mateo: Yeah, and if he's getting sloppy --
Simone: We, then, there he's, you know, going to be even more dangerous.

Larry: Vanessa, call 911. I -- I don't feel so good.
Vanessa: Oh, dear, you -- you don't look so good, either, Larry. Do you want me to call an ambulance?
Larry: Yeah, yeah. Call -- call an ambulance.
Vanessa: Well, it really won't do that much good, though. Well, you'll be dead by the time they get her
Larry: What?
Vanessa: Oh, you were supposed to kill Mateo Santos tonight. I had it so perfectly planned, all timed down to the second. Then after you killed Mateo, you would succumb to a heart attack. Fatal one, I'm afraid.
Larry: You bitch.
Vanessa: Hmm. Hmm.
Vanessa: Hmm.

ON THE NEXT - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Tad: Your mother decided to fly down to the Caribbean and get a quickie divorce.

Kendall: You want it? Get it yourself.

Hank: I think I'm falling in love with you.

Mateo: You going to show me who you really are?
Chris: You don't ever want to know.

Anna: Vanessa, are you here?
