ALL MY CHILDREN

SEPTEMBER 28, 2000

Mateo: Oh, welcome back. Now, are you here to work, or are you just in between spy jobs?
Adrian: Come on, give me a break.
Mateo: No, seriously, man, I need a hero behind the bar.
Adrian: Have you seen Tina?
Mateo: No. No.
Adrian: Well, isn't she -- she's working tonight, right?
Mateo: Yeah, she's late. Have you checked the community center?
Adrian: Yeah, called there earlier, but she wasn't there. Maybe I should give them another call.
Mateo: What's going on?
Adrian: I don't know. I mean, I can't track her down. She's not returning any of my phone calls. I don't like this. Something's not right.
Mateo: Well, you just got back yesterday, though, right?
Adrian: Yeah, but that's my point. Last time I came back from Chechnya, I went straight to Tina's. I go there last night, and she's not there.
Mateo: Whole 24 hours, huh? Ooh. Let me see. Yep, yep --
Adrian: Get out of here. Come on, man. How would you like it if all of a sudden you couldn't find Hayley?
Mateo: Go ahead, use the phone in the office, all right? And if she comes in, I'm going to send her back there, all right?
Adrian: All right.

Tina: Where did Adrian go?
Mateo: He's in the back room.
Tina: Perfect. And he doesn't suspect anything?
Mateo: No, he just thinks you're dead. He's worried.
Tina: Well, it won't be long now. Just wish me luck.
Mateo: All right, good luck. You got everything under control?
Tina: Oh, yeah. Tonight, I am going to rock Adrian's world.
Mateo: Going to rock his world.

Liza: You see your Daddy?
Adam: Hi, Sweetheart.
Liza: See your Daddy?
Adam: Hello. Oh. She's so beautiful. You are so precious. She knows me.
Liza: Mm-hmm.
Adam: You've grown so much. You're more precious than I can remember. She does know me. I missed you.
Liza: She's missed you, too. We all have. I'm not ready. I haven't changed. Mama's not back yet. I'm sorry, come in.
Adam: I didn't mean to rush you. That's not why I'm here.
Liza: Did you talk to Arlene? Is she packed? Is she gone?
Adam: No. Well, I wanted to -- I wanted to touch base with Barry first. I want to make sure that once she leaves, she's out of our life permanently.
Liza: That's good. What did Barry say?
Adam: Oh, he's on the case. He's doing it.
Liza: Tell him I'll give him a bonus if he can get her out tonight.
Adam: Ok. Well, I guess the sooner I leave, the sooner I'll see you.
Liza: Yeah. Well, go and get that horrible woman out of your house and give me a call and -- and I'll come up.
Adam: Yeah. Don't want to keep my best girls waiting.
Liza: Well, it's for a good cause.
Liza: I think I might keep Colby home tonight. She's been sneezing a little bit, and she can stay with Mama.
Adam: Aw.
Liza: Want to stay with Grandma?
Adam: She wants to come with me. Look, she wants to come. Oh. Ok. All right, all right. Got to run.
Liza: Ok.
Adam: I'll see you in a little while.
Liza: Ok.
Adam: Hope you feel better, Sweetheart.
Liza: She will.
Adam: See you soon.
Liza: Not soon enough.

Adam: I don't know how I'm going to do it, Arlene, but I'm getting rid of you, one way or another.

Liza: You see? I promised you. I promised you we're going to be a family again. Yes, I did. We're going to be together, and your father's going to come back to us. It's going to be you, it's going to be me, and Daddy.

Hayley: You're pregnant? That's not possible.
Arlene: Well, it's how you got here.
Hayley: Who's the father?
Arlene: Hayley, do you have to ask?
Hayley: With your track record, yes.
Arlene: Well, Adam. Who did you think? We probably created this little baby right here on this sofa.
Hayley: Stop with the information.
Arlene: Well, anyway, you're going to have a little brother or sister soon. Oh, boy, I hope I'll remember how to do all this. It was a while ago. I guess it's like riding a bike, right?
Hayley: I don't believe this is happening.
Arlene: I know. I can't, either. It's the most amazing thing.
Hayley: Does Adam know?
Arlene: Does he know? He had Winnie sit with me and stay through my pregnancy test. I mean, I already knew, but the test confirmed it for Adam. And I guess for Winnie. I mean, talk about someone who's seen too much.
Hayley: What about a DNA test?
Arlene: I told Adam, bring it on. Hayley, I'm going to do this so right. I am going to be the best mom, and I want you to help me so I don't make all the mistakes that I made with you. I'm going to make you and this baby very, very proud.

[Door opens and closes]

Adam: Hayley. Arlene, what have you told her?
Hayley: Everything. Oh, you've really gone and done it this time.

Erica: Bianca, you can't quit school. I mean, that's completely out of the question.
Jack: I think maybe what Bianca means is that she'd like more time before she starts back to school. Right?
Bianca: I just got back from Daddy's funeral. I'm not ready to go to some strange school and pretend like everything's ok.
Erica: I don't want you to pretend anything, Honey, anywhere. I know how devastated you are by your father's death.
Bianca: Well, then let me work through this. Give me some time.
Erica: Well, how much time?
Bianca: I don't know. I was thinking I would actually like to do some traveling.
Erica: Traveling? Where?
Bianca: Anywhere. See the world, the real world. Maybe find out who I am or what life is really about.
Erica: Who you are is a minor who has yet to finish high school. And you can't just go traipsing across continents like a vagabond. And what life is really about is making good choices for yourself and surviving after a tragedy and moving on.
Bianca: Gee, thanks, Mom. Thanks for clearing that up. Now I know what life is really about all wrapped up in a nice little pink bow.
Erica: Look, this has been a very difficult time for all of us. Especially for you. I know how close you were to your father. I'll tell you what -- you want to travel? We can go to the Netherlands for Christmas, at Christmas break. I hear that the Netherlands are gorgeous at that time of year. And for spring break, we could go to Paris, we could go to Italy. I haven't been to Italy in a very long time.
Bianca: No, Mom, it's not the same.
Erica: All right, I understand that, but we could go anywhere you want. But school comes first, Bianca. And, ok, it doesn't have to be Pine Valley High. I mean, it can be some other school. There are a lot of nice private schools.
Bianca: I said no, mother.
Erica: Bianca, you're being completely unrealistic about this, Honey. Where do you think a high school dropout is going to go in this world?
Bianca: Daddy left me a trust fund. I can live off that. You know, I will learn more traveling in Europe or South America than I would sitting behind some desk at school anyway.
Erica: Is this your doing, Leo?
Leo: No. I would never tell her what to do. One, she wouldn't listen to me. Two, it's not my style.
Erica: Yes, your father left you some money. But he wouldn't want you to squander it or your education. He wanted you to go to college.
Bianca: You do not know what my father wanted. If you did, maybe you would still be together.
Erica: Oh, that is a gross oversimplification, Bianca. And that is completely unjust. And maybe -- maybe when you're a bit older, you will understand what you have just said to me. And you see, this is exactly what I am talking about. You think you know all the answers, but you don't.
Bianca: That is not what I think at all, Mother. I just want to find out the answers for myself.
Erica: And you will. Of course you will. But you're not ready to go out in the world right now. I mean, you know, you're a work in progress.
Bianca: I am a human being, not some project that you need to finish.
Erica: Bianca, that's not what I meant. We are still discussing this, Bianca.

Erica: Jack, help me.
Jack: I will. Just as soon as you stop acting like a crazy person.

Adam: Arlene, why did you have to involve Hayley in this?
Arlene: Why? I was telling the great news. I wanted to share it with her.
Adam: Yeah, well, you better learn to celebrate alone because as of this moment, you're out of our lives and out of this house forever.
Arlene: Oh, you can't be serious.
Adam: Barry is drawing up no-fault divorce papers as we speak. They're being messengered over here.
Arlene: I'm not leaving. I can't.
Adam: Oh, yes, you can, and you will. Unless you want to give up that $500,000 I offered you and sort of stand around the village square trying to support yourself. Because you're not getting another dime from me. Either way, you're leaving this house tonight.
Arlene: But, Adam, you know I have nowhere else to go.
Adam: $500,000? There are hundreds of places you could go. I just hope I never visit any of them. Now, go pack. Don't leave anything here of yours, not even a pack of dental floss.
Arlene: This isn't over.
Adam: Oh, I think it is.

Hayley: So you're sending her packing just like that?
Adam: Just like that.
Hayley: With a pack of dental floss and a baby onboard?
Adam: Oh, come on, Arlene is a survivor. She'll get by. With $500,000, she'll make a whole new start. She might even invest it wisely. The important thing is we're getting rid of her once and for all.
Hayley: No. That's not the important thing here.

Adrian: Mateo, Tina's not here yet?
Mateo: No. You didn't get in touch with her?
Adrian: No. And I'm starting to worry.
Mateo: Oh, man.
Adrian: Yeah. Why is this place so dead, man? Has business been this bad since I've been gone?
Mateo: It's early. It's early. BbMak's coming tonight. It'll be packed.
Adrian: BBMak?
Mateo: Yeah.
Adrian: They're in town?
Mateo: Uh-huh.
Adrian: That's probably where Tina's at.
Mateo: No, no, not necessarily.
Adrian: No, Christian is just always trying to talk Tina into going on the road with them.
Mateo: Take it easy.
Adrian: Where the hell is she then?

Opal: Will I do? You. Nasty stay away. Home a whole day and you haven't called me.
Adrian: Oh, I'm sorry.
Opal: Oh, I'm just so glad to see you home safe and sound.
Adrian: It's good to see you.
Alice: Me, too?
Adrian: Mama!
Alice: Hi, Adrian. Oh, it's so good to see you.
Adrian: It's good to see you, too. But what are you doing here?
Frank: Same thing I'm doing here.
Adrian: Oh!
Frank: What's going on?
Adrian: How you doing?
Frank: I'm so proud of you, Son.
Opal: Yeah, we all are.
Adrian: Oh, man. How did this happen? Did you do this?
Mateo: No, not me. Someone else.
Adrian: Oh, my goodness. You did this.
Tina: I hope you don't mind. I figured I could keep you here if you knew how much we missed you.
Adrian: I missed you, too.

Mateo: Hey, man, you still worried?
Adrian: Wow. I knew Tina was unpredictable, but, my gosh, this is a bit much. I can't believe you pulled this off.
Alice: Oh, she pulled it off all right.
Opal: Yeah.
Alice: She called us and told us you were coming in and how much she wanted to surprise you. But all the flights were booked up.
Frank: So, this little lady came all the way down to West Eleanor, Alabama, and picked us up.
Tina: Oh, I didn't do everything, and your parents -- they helped drive back.
Adrian: So that's where you were last night?
Opal: Yeah. They pulled into my place early this morning. Of course, I insisted they get a little shuteye.
Adrian: What's this business about BBMak playing tonight?
Mateo: No, that's on. Tina called Christian herself.
Tina: Well, I needed something to do while you were in Germany, and I was just going crazy waiting, so I just --
Adrian: You planned a bomb surprise party.
Tina: Something like that.
Adrian: How can I thank you?
Tina: I'll think of something.

Christian: Tina.
Tina: Oh, hi. How are you? Nice to see you. Everyone, this is Christian, Mark, and Ste, otherwise known as BBMak. These are Adrian's parents.
Christian: Pleasure.
Opal: Oh, thanks.
Christian: So, Adrian, I hear you've been putting your life on the line. Welcome back.
Adrian: Thank you. Thanks.
Mark: Yeah, congratulations.
Ste: You saved those kids' lives and your friends. That's awesome.
Adrian: Oh, well, you know what? You guys being here tonight is awesome. I appreciate it greatly.
Christian: You try and say no to Tina.
Adrian: Oh, now, why in the world would I ever want to do that?

Mateo: Aren't they cute? Hey, are we here to party or what?
Tina: Yes.
Opal: Come on, you guys, grab your instruments.

Erica: How could you be so cruel to me, especially under the circumstances? We're talking about Bianca throwing her future away.
Jack: How can Bianca think for a moment about her future when the life as she has known it has just crumbled at her feet? She's lost her father. She's been relocated from one side of the country to the other.
Erica: Well, Barbara and I agree that it is best for Bianca if she lives with me now. And excuse me for not thinking that that's a reason for her world to be collapsing.

Leo: I don't understand the big deal about going to a new school, Bianca. I went to 11 different schools in nine years. You just sit in the back, keep your head down, don't ask questions. Chances are the teacher won't even remember your name.
Bianca: It's not about the school, Leo.
Leo: Then what's wrong?
Bianca: It's this. Me living here full-time.

Liza: Do I look ok?
Marian: Oh, darling, you look ravishing. You smell good, too. Where are you going? Oh, no. You're not seeing Adam tonight, are you?
Liza: Yes.
Marian: Oh, Liza, do you think that's a good idea?
Liza: Absolutely not. My mind is screaming at me, but the rest of me can't wait.
Marian: Look, I know I told you I was going to try to see Adam through Stuart's eyes, but I'm still your mother, Darling. And given your history together, maybe you should listen to that screaming voice in your mind.
Liza: I can't. Because I think it would get in the way of me listening to my heart. I just can't keep ignoring how I feel.
Marian: Liza, I just think you're heading down a dangerous path once again.
Liza: Mother, loving Adam is a little bit like swimming in the ocean. Sometimes it's calm and beautiful, and other times it's raging and out of control. But that's the difference between swimming in the ocean and somebody's back yard pool. There are vast and limitless possibilities.
Marian: It's amazing. After everything Adam's done -- even marrying Arlene -- you can still love that man.
Liza: He loves me. And we know who we are, and both of us want more than anything to be back together again. And this time, we're not letting anyone or anything get in the way.

Adam: Hayley, I can't get into this right now. I need to call Barry to check on the status of the divorce papers. I want to get this over with as soon as possible.
Hayley: Well, that's not going to happen, Dad.
Adam: Yes, it is. It has to happen. I have a date tonight, and I'm going to keep it, by damn it.
Hayley: Really? Does Liza know? Have you told her yet?
Adam: No, she doesn't know, not yet. Tonight is about Liza and me. It's about us.
Hayley: So you're going to start over with a lie between you?
Adam: The important thing is that we're going to have her out of our hair. I thought you'd be ecstatic.
Hayley: Have you forgotten who you're speaking to? I'm the other child you didn't know existed until I was a teenager. Remember me?
Adam: Hayley -- Hayley --
Hayley: I am walking, talking proof that that woman cannot raise so much as a kitten by herself, much less a child.
Adam: I know you had a rough childhood. But look at you. Look at you. You came out ok. Better than ok, you're magnificent.
Hayley: Oh, Dad. You're not that naive, are you? I got lucky. Barely lucky. And now we're never going to have Arlene out of our lives because you've got a brand-new baby on the way, like it or not, and you have to be accountable for that.
Adam: You're saying that -- that we have to keep Arlene here?
Hayley: I don't see y other choice.

Mateo: All right! You saw them here last May when they rocked the house. Please welcome Christian, Mark, and Ste. Put your hands together for BBMak!

[Applause]

Hayley: Did it even occur to you that she might not stop drinking throughout this pregnancy?
Adam: Even Arlene knows better than that.
Hayley: Knowing better won't stop a practicing alcoholic. I just hope that she hasn't done damage to the fetus already.
Adam: So, Arlene has a baby, so we have to baby-sit Arlene.
Hayley: Have you forgotten this is your child we're talking about here, my brother or sister? Do you really think we should let Arlene decide what's best? Because she'll figure, "well, I just want one scotch," and then she'll go on a bender.
Adam: We'll dump her in a program somewhere.
Hayley: A program is not going to make her stop drinking. She has to feel good enough about herself to want to stop drinking.
Arlene: Yeah? Well, I certainly don't feel good about myself right now. Being thrown out in the middle of the night by my husband and the father of my children.
Adam: Eavesdropping, Arlene?
Arlene: Yeah, I am eavesdropping. I have every right to be a part of this conversation. This is about my life and my baby.
Adam: Ok, tell me this -- will you stop drinking while you're pregnant?
Arlene: I don't know. I would like to think that I would, but I don't know.

Leo: But you love your mom. You two are tight. She's always calling you, you're always calling her.
Bianca: I do. I love my mom, Leo, very much. But she's not like normal moms.
Leo: Well, of course not. She's Erica Kane.
Bianca: Right. And that makes me Erica Kane's daughter, always under the microscope whether I want to be there or not.
Leo: Well, you've been her daughter your whole life. You should be used to it by now.
Bianca: Still stinks.
Leo: There's more.
Bianca: It's living here 24/7, Leo. I mean, my mom has a way of taking over everything. I have to look a certain way and act a certain way. I can't be myself when I'm around her.
Leo: Yes, you can.
Bianca: No, I can't. She always gets her way. Just look at the party.
Leo: Ok. Ok, I get it. My mother's a force, too.
Bianca: How did you break away?
Leo: Well, Vanessa kind of did it for me -- you know, when she was willing to let me go to jail for what she did to Paolo.
Bianca: Yeah, right.
Leo: But I wouldn't suggest that you two go to those lengths. Anyway, even though Vanessa and I are talking again, the cord has been cut.
Bianca: Well, at least you're out from under her shadow. I'm --

Erica: Bianca? I think I have a plan.
Bianca: A plan?
Erica: Yes, a way to handle this without going for each other's throats. Will you come inside? Will you hear me out?
Erica: Bianca, your Uncle Jack feels that we shouldn't make any concrete decisions right now, that we should wait until things calm down.
Bianca: Ok.
Erica: Oh, no, wait a second. I'm not finished. I agree with him. So I propose that you come with me tomorrow just to visit the school that I have in mind, and you can tell me your decision, and I promise I will keep an open mind about it.
Bianca: I guess I could check it out.
Erica: Oh, Sweetheart. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, Honey. This has been a very long day. I'm going to go upstairs to bed.
Bianca: Ok, Mom. I actually wouldn't mind heading out to S.O.S. For a while. Are you up for it, Leo?
Leo: Yeah. I could --
Erica: Are you sure? Aren't you tired?
Bianca: I need to clear my head for a little while. I won't be out late. Are you ready, Leo?
Leo: Sure. Don't worry, I know the drill.

Erica: All right. So, how did I do?
Jack: That was much, much better. And believe me, I know it practically killed you to see her walk out that door just now.
Erica: Yes, well, don't let it stop you from leaving. Good night, Jack.
Jack: Well, before the doorknob hits me in my rather ample behind, there was one thing I wanted to talk to you about while Blanca's gone, something that Barbara brought up. Frankly, I had discounted it until now.
Erica: What, about Bianca?
Jack: Yeah.
Erica: Well, of course. Well, sit down. Tell me. What is it?
Jack: When we were in Seattle, I asked Barbara what caused the rift between her and Bianca.
Erica: Oh, as if I'd ever believe a word that Barbara has to say.
Jack: You want to hear this or not?
Erica: All right. Go ahead.

Jack: Thank you. Erica: Wait a second. Why are you just bringing this up now?
Jack: Because you and Bianca have been at each other's throats since we left Seattle, and I just wanted to make sure that you don't inadvertently throw something in her face that's both very private and very painful.
Erica: What are you talking about?
Jack: Barbara said that when Bianca first came home from rehab, everything was fine, it was great. And then she suddenly started to spend a lot of time on the computer, a lot of time doing e-mails.
Erica: That's it? Jack, kids are glued to the Internet.
Jack: All hours of the day and night? There are some strange things going on out there, Erica. So Barbara asked Bianca about it. Bianca got very defensive then. When Barbara suggested that they put some limitations on the computer use, Bianca got withdrawn, very uncommunicative, and Barbara got so worried, she called Blanca's rehab counselor.
Erica: Trudy.
Jack: That's right, Trudy. And she asked her if she could possibly have met someone that she was continuing to communicate with after rehab.
Erica: What did Trudy say?
Jack: Trudy said she had no idea. But just about that time, Bianca quit going on the computer totally and shut herself down completely. Now, Barbara thinks that Bianca met a boy in rehab, fell in love, and they kept their relationship going on the computer afterwards, and then they broke up.
Erica: Oh, my God. So that's it. My daughter's had her heart broken.

[Telephone rings]

Liza: Hello.
Adam: Hi. It's me.
Liza: Hi. It's about time. My mom just got home. So do you want me to come up to the house?
Adam: No. No, not right now. Something -- something's come up that I have to take care of. Do you think -- would you mind if we had dinner at
The Valley Inn tonight? Liza: No. Is everything all right?
Adam: Yes. Oh, yeah, fine. Everything's fine. It's just I have to finish up some things here and -- and then I'll -- I'll be coming by. Liza: So you're meeting me there?
Adam: Well, yes, if that's all right with you.
Liza: Sure. Is there anything you want me to do?
Adam: No. No, no. No, I just -- a few odds and ends I have to finish up with here. Get us a table, and I'll see you soon. Good-bye.

Adam: You're right. It'll be in the baby's best interest if Arlene stays here, at least for the time being.
Hayley: You're doing the right thing, Dad. I know what this is costing you.
Arlene: Hey, can I have a hug, too?
Hayley: I wouldn't press my luck. You're lucky you're getting to stay. But for the next eight months, with the two of us watching you, you're going to wish you had used birth control.

Adam: All right, it's time to get a couple of things straight.

Erica: Why didn't I think of that? Of course, Jack. It all fits. I mean, first love is so intense. I mean, I wish I could protect her from the pain, or better yet, I wish I could find the guy who broke up with her and just, you know, wring his neck.
Jack: Yeah, I know how you feel. When Barbara told me about this, I thought maybe I should go out and find this boy and neuter him myself.
Erica: Well, at least now we know, you know, what's been bothering Bianca and why she's been acting so strangely. Oh, poor baby. Poor baby. I know what that pain is like, and I just -- you know, I was worried about her because I could see her self-esteem going down and down, and then that boy broke up with her like that, of course. And now Travis dying.
Jack: I know that look. What are you thinking?
Erica: I'm thinking that I cannot, of course, protect my daughter from heartache. But as her mother, I can sure make her feel better about herself, and that's exactly what I intend to do.

Mateo: Let's give it up for BBMak!
Mateo: Hey.
Leo: Hey.
Mateo: Leo, what's up, man?
Leo: Mateo.
Mateo: Bianca. Did you guys have a good time?
Bianca: Yeah.
Mateo: Did you enjoy it?
Leo: Oh, yeah.
Bianca: I love BBMak.
Mateo: Yeah? You want to meet them?
Bianca: Uh --
Mateo: Come on.
Bianca: I don't know.
Leo: Come on. Go for it. Go for it. I'll find a table.

Mateo: Come on, come on. Come on. Hey, guys, I want you to meet somebody. This is Bianca Montgomery. This is Christian, Mark, and Ste.
Bianca: Hi.
Christian: Hi. I'm Christian.
Bianca: Hi, Christian.
Christian: Nice to meet you.
Bianca: You guys are really awesome.
Christian: Thank you very much. Have you got any requests for the next set?
Bianca: Yeah, tons.

Alice: Oh, that was -- that was so much fun.
Frank: Oh, yeah. We haven't been out to a nightclub like this since 19--
Alice: Shh! Don't -- don't finish that sentence.
Frank: Ok, Baby.
Alice: We don't want people to think we're a bunch of old fogies.
Opal: Oh, you're not old, you just got to get out more.
Adrian: Yeah, you got to get with it, Pops.
Frank: Oh, yeah, right. And next thing you know, I'll be wearing earrings.
Alice: Oh, I think it's kind of sexy.
Opal: Whoa! I've heard about enough, thank you very much. I'm heading on home. I've got a big day at the Glamorama tomorrow. And, Alice, Frank, you still up for a day of beauty before you get home?
Alice: Oh, I can't wait.
Frank: Yeah, well, just don't get any ideas about painting my toenails.
Opal: Oh. Well, you don't know what you're missing. Oh, Sweetie. Thank you. It was a wonderful night. You did a great job planning the party.
Tina: Thank you.
Opal: Yeah. And you --
Adrian: Yes?
Opal: No more heroic deeds. You understand?
Adrian: All right.
Opal: Not even one until at least I'm dead and gone.
Adrian: Yeah. I'll try and keep it down to throwing out the drunks.
Opal: All right.
Adrian: The little small, puny ones.
Opal: All right.
Alice: Well, we're going to head back to our hotel. We're staying at The Valley Inn.
Tina: Ok.
Alice: Call us in the morning?
Frank: Late morning.
Tina: Ok.
Alice: She's a keeper.

Tina: So, are you ready to go, or do you want to stay a little longer?
Adrian: I think I'm ready to leave.
Tina: I'll get my purse.
Adrian: Yeah. I'll let Mateo know we're going to cut out.
Tina: Oh, Adrian? I haven't had a chance to tell you "welcome home" yet.
Adrian: Why don't we wait and do that at your place.
Tina: And I haven't told you how much I missed you. I've never let myself miss anyone like this before. Being without you is the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
Adrian: Listen, why don't we talk about that never happening again, ok?

Mateo: Hey. Where were you? You missed a great set.
Hayley: Oh.
Mateo: You were at Adam's. You ok? What can I do?
Hayley: Just hold me.
Mateo: Yeah, come here.

Adam: You have won nothing. You're staying here by the grace of God and the compassion of your daughter. It has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the child that you're carrying. Do you understand me?
Arlene: Yeah. Yeah, look, I won't take advantage. I won't -- I won't cause any trouble, cross my heart.
Adam: Don't push me too hard, Arlene, or you're going to end up sleeping in the back of that bar I bought.
Arlene: Got it. Except I don't think I should be going back to that bar. It's a bad idea. I was thinking maybe we should get rid of those liquor bottles in case I'm tempted.

ON THE NEXT - - - - ALL MY CHILDREN

Greenlee: I will not be ignored.

Jake: I've given up on us once, and I'm not going to make that mistake again.

Mateo: We want a baby, right?
Hayley: Yeah.
Mateo: We're going to adopt your mom's.

Adam: Arlene is pregnant.
